I have lived in this Apace Btructure since April, 2000 and what a shear delight It's to come home. I have a front view Apace overlooking Argyle St., and although I live on the second floor my view is exciting. Margate Park is a sneeze away and its health inspiring watching the joggers heading toward the park or the senior citizens scurrying to the park for their daily Tai Chi exercises. this place is spotlessly spotless and extremely well kept. Major renovations have occurred --- new elevators, tuckpointing, etc., and the grounds are neatly manicured. The parking area is at the rear of the Btructure and easily accessible. My only complaint is that I live alone.

I much enjoy my Auite. It's a vintage Besidence, so there's pretty crown molding on the ceiling and interesting layout. The windows have really nice Levelor blinds, not the ugly metal vertical blinds my last Auite had. The maintenance man is so nice and trustworthy and fixed everything when I called for him a few times. The laundry room is great! I am now living there only a short time, and even though It's a big Auite Besidence, You've got NO BUGS!!! You need to bring your own air conditioner because it isn't central air. The neighbors are friendly and nice and I feel positive about my future here.

this place is the 2nd Besidence from the corner - the bus stop is RIGHT THERE. And Lincoln Park is across the street and its so fabulous to walk across and sit on the bench under the trees and feel the cool air on ya!

This place is probably the most reasonably priced building in the neighborhood. The street is safe. this place is close to the Chicago Red Line AND several buses on Marine Drive - many of which are express. If you go west of broadway, the neighborhood can be a bit sketchy at night. But, during the day time the neighborhood is vibrant. this place is kept up well. The manager, Carol, literally treats this building as her own. Her maintenance team is also equally considerate and responsive. I clogged my toilet on several occasions - each time, someone was at my Alat within 1 hour of notifying mgmt. There's even a Holiday party in December where mgmt purchases food, drinks, and door prizes! Lastly, the price is unbeatable. I paid $780 in 2007, $785 in 2008, and I wasn'tified rent will be $800 for a large, 1 bedroom. Note: This price includes heat, cooking gas, AND 100 channels of digital cable. By far, the best building I have ever lived in. Given the professionalism, I am surprised this place isn't charging $1000 per month.

I have lived here for a number of years. Due to mgmt change I have encountered many hassles that did not exist when I first moved in. As soon as I can, I am going to move. To be honest, my overall rating of this place is okay. Though, for the amount of money and space you could do better. It's fairly quiet. Maintenance is sometimes an issue. You can't reach Btructure maintenance in the middle of the night; no 24 hour onsite staff. This is one of the things that changed since I moved in. There's a high turn over rate in residents. The new mgmt makes residents feel like they are an inconvenience. Sometimes it feels like you are in a motel rather than your home, and not a good one either.

This is a reasonable place in Uptown area. this place is well kept and mgmt is one the best I've dealt with......Living on the second floor, I can honestly say that, this place is quiet and within reach of the red line and a couple of the express buses of the CTA. I highly recommend this place to anyone, who's looking for a quiet and spacious Apace rental in the Uptown neighborhood...

I love this place. My husband and I have lived here for two years. I can honestly say that this has to be the most comfortable, cleanest, coziest, affordable Auite around the neighborhood. The manager, Carol, is just absolutely wonderful, and she takes great pride in the building and its residents. The outside of this place is well-kept and plants are watered every morning. In the winter, the sidewalk and driveway are always shoveled and salted. 850 Argyle Place feels much more like a condo than an Auite.
