I would not move here if I was anyone. I have lived here for the last 2 years and if my husband was done with school I would get the hell out of here! When we moved in the place was dirty and I had no kitchen. No, really no sink, stove, or cabinets. Welcome Home! It took 3 days to get everything done in the kitchen. Then to find out that I have a ------- crazy neighbor that likes to beat on the walls and slam the door at you and call you bad things. Oh, yeah that was great. 6 months I had to put up with that and calling the cops every other day was fun fun. I had to ask to be moved and then they were going to and decided not too. Thanks! And don't get me started about Nick the manager who was a jerk who did not care about anything. Had to get a key for the front door for my sister who was staying with me and was a day late getting it back and Nick had the balls to write me and tell me that "if you don't return the key NOW you will be charged $100 on the day it was due she moved out WTF give me a couple hours to get the key from her. I do have to say that the guys now in the office are really nice and I do like them. BUT DON'T RECOMMEND ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS TO MOVE HERE AND GET A $500 REFERRAL FEE. That's just a load of crap that they tell you! My friend moved in here and they said because he did not sign a 12 mo. lease they will not even give me $250 Well, that really pissed me off! And now I'm on here writing to all of you not to move here!

The management lied to us about several things before we moved in and never resolved any of them. Our apartment was also not ready when we arrived and after living here for over a month several issues have still not been resolved. We have found the management extremely rude and condescending and would not recommend living here as a result. They also charge $20 per month for a pet and do not state anywhere in the contract that your dog has to be under 40 pounds, even though they apply such a rule. The apartment we got is also smaller than we had been told, the view is of the other wall of the building, it does not have a dishwasher as we had been told, the lock sticks every time we use it, the hot water in the kitchen does not work, the bathtub/shower water never turns off, and we have two closets instead of the three we were told.

Because of the kind of work that I do, I have had to move 5 times in the last 4 years. My last job transfer brought me to Chicago and I have been a tenant in the Wyndham apartments for a little over 2 months. In the 5 other apartments that i lived in, none of them can compare to the great customer service that the Wyndham has going for them. The manager Nic is always helpful,and his sense of humor always keeps me laughing. The leasing agents and the other staff, even the janitors always wave and say hello when they pass me in the halls. This building is cleaner than any other place that i have lived in. Now that i am meeting new people in the city, i will certainly recommend the Wyndham apartments to everyone when they are looking for an apartment. Thank you manager Nic and everyone for doing a great job and making the Wyndham the best!
