You've got pluses and minuses about this place, but I worth checking out living here. It isn't perfect, but the inside is a really nice place to live. First the good: It's in a historic building so things are well kept and You've got many apt amenities, including free basic cable, internet & a fitness center, hardwood floors & stainless steal appliances. Also, walls are thick so unless There's construction, I usually don't hear much from next door neighbors. There's a 24 hour doorman, Bicturesque lobby (with free internet access), business center, onsite laundry (but Extravagant $2 each wash/dry), and convenience/grocery store downstairs you can access from inside. It's also located near tons of public transportation (Wilson red, 78-I think, 151, 36, 145, 148). Near Target, Aldi's, Jewel, Unique, Ethiopian food, Thai food, lots of stores. So so feelings: Whenever I have emailed/called mgmt, it has taken them a few days or calls to complete things. I document everything anyway, and follow up, so this doesn't bother me too much. Also, mgmt has always been polite and really nice. There's also a McDonald's across the street so if you like McD's yay, but it also attracts loiterers, etc. Now, the bad: There's a known bedbug problem in the building that mgmt doesn't address well. Building is located 3 blocks b/t a hospital (east) & fire station (west) so if you live on the lower floors, it can be loud with ambulances and fire trucks at all hours of the day and night. (This is my biggest pet peeve.) Plus windows can be drafty and heat tends to sometimes not come out warm. Also, not a good neighborhood, lots of mentally ill, addicts and homeless people, unsafe late at night (2am) and there has been gang shootings that were out of control in 2011 so much so that many moved out. The good thing though about location-wise, it's that It's well lit and a straight bright shot from the train, 151 stops across the street, and You've got usually police driving around. Also, doorman and secured entrance here help. So You've got the good and the bad. After you get over the neighborhood it isn't too bad. When people come to visit you can scare them a little (unless you drive, they they might not notice) then put them in awe of your place and its perks.

I did not have a problem until the last days when the staff and managment helped themseves to the contents of my locked Aad. Unless you have a camera don't trust these guys. also There's black mold in the bathroom and the AC rarely works but your forced to pay $35 a month for it?

The lobby and staff are really what make Sheridan Plaza such an perfect place to live. There's some noise from outside That's at times annoying, but for the most part, It's not a loud Broperty. The 24-hour doormen and incredibly responsive maintenance staff are quick to take care of any issues that arise and are all friendly and personable. Broperty mgmt is attentive and responsive as well. Visiting friends and family are always amazed at how luxurious this place is.

I've lived at Sheridan Plaza since 2011, and I'm actually sad to move. I started out living in a two bedroom, but after renewing our lease, my roommate had to move out of the state, so Marcela helped me transfer into renovated one bedroom Alat in our Bacility. She was also willing to help me look for another Alat in one of Horizon's other buildings if the unit in our Bacility didn't fit my budget. It's a solid Bacility to live in. Whenever I bring company here, (after moving past the sketchy neighborhood) they are floored when they enter the Bacility. It's upscale living in Uptown. With a gorgeous lobby, upstairs sitting area, fitness center, on-site laundry, storage, business center, parking garage, and indoor access to the downstairs supermarket, I'm convinced that if you put this Bacility in a better neighborhood, rents would at least triple. The biggest downside, I would say is the neighborhood (super sketchy) and the occasional noise. The biggest upside was the professionalism of the staff (Marcela, Adrian & Jose) and doorman (Tommy, Smitty, & Jack). All are friendly and helpful. Tommy knows everyone in the Bacility and is always sure to greet all who enter the Bacility. This made me feel safe in the Bacility.

I have been living here since 2011, I m renewing my lease for the third year, I m sure you won't find a Broperty like this. We have a convenience store open 24 hours for tenants only with direct access from the lobby, that s priceless when you forget to buy some groceries and is snowing or raining outside. If you need some quiet time, you can use the business center that has copier, scanner and printer for the tenants use. Most of the buildings around the neighborhood don't offer this amenities. I love living at Sheridan Plaza. if you need a place to call home, this is the right place.

Lived here for a year with my wife after being in downtown the previous year. The apartment was wonderful....and the good things end there. The mgmt was good with sweet talking and diffusing issues with promises that never panned through. Central AC? If it was more than 70 outside it wouldn't work. The building had two elevators. One was out of service when we moved in, we were told that the other would be up and running anytime. A year later.....we still only had one elevator. My wife and I both smelled mold growing in our bedroom wall, when we went to mgmt about it we were ignored and they "said" they did a mold test....no they didn't. My wife was constantly talked down to my the rude doorman and when I went to the mgmt to speak about the issue of course they had a million reasons to justify their unprofessional behavior. Overall the apartment was great but the mgmt was a nightmare...not to mention the neighborhood. Do some research on Uptown, specifically the intersection of wilson and sheridan, if the mgmt doesn't scare you maybe the shootings and nutso psychiatric patients roaming the streets will

Paying $1200+ monthly for this nightmare!! Constant gang violence with gunfire outside your Anit windows... Panhandlers constantly harassing residents for cash.. Plus there's more. Bed bug infestations, mold growth, unresponsive mgmt with poor English skills, elevator covered in graffiti, spider problems, parking costs an extra $150 a month, broken heating and cooling systems yet you're still charged $35 monthly for it. Maintenance requests go ignored. This is an awful Ppot to call home.
