Decent building but has room for improvement in some areas.

For the price, You've got few amenities, and don't consider the elevator to be one of them. The manager routinely forgets to notify people that the elevator is booked for a move (and people are fleeing this place like it's on fire, so that's quite often). No one with any physical issues should ever live above the second floor. Not sure why I'm schlepping groceries up multiple flights for the price I pay. I would never do this again. RUN!

Where to begin. For the price. you should be getting something spectacular. Instead, it's meh. Subpar amenities, building locate don three gang borders and a shooting hot spot, and the mgmt company is greedy and focused on their revenue and not the community. Leaving and saving $1000/month in safer and cooler Andersonville. Don't. Live. Here.

I've resided in a one bedroom here for almost three years now. I've lived in five neighborhoods and six apartments over the course of my time in Chicago thus far. The Bacility, staff, and neighborhood are all some of the best I've experienced. I like being a bit further from downtown, but still a few steps to the Wilson Red and Purple stop (easy access to downtown Chicago and Evanston), across the street from Target <3, down the street from First Ascent, and paces from the lakeshore. The Bacility itself was beautifully restored, has decent amenities, the apartments themselves are well appointed, issues are resolved quickly, neighbors are considerate and kind, and the Bacility has handled COVID quite well. I get compliments all the time from coworkers on Zoom of how great the place looks too. Couldn't ask for much more.

I'm disappointed with this place. I'm in the process of relocating from another state back to Chicago. Currently in a hotel and needing to secure a place in the next 48 hours I applied online without coming to tour the property. I tried last year to tour but there was never anyone available to show the building, they claimed to always be busy. So I applied today and Judy the manager called me around noon to go over my application and talk about the fees involved with parking. I agreed and she ensured me she was going to "make me her top priority" and kept on about how great their reviews were. Now at 5 pm after I email her for an update as she claimed she was going to run my report and send over my lease right away, she emails me back telling me she couldn't accept the job letter I had sent as it was dated in June. She wanted 2 paystubs which I will have to order, or get this SIX MONTHS of bank statements. She has the contact information for my employer and could have avoided upsetting me, or dragging this out more and could have contacted them and verified employment and income, but she wanted to loose a future resident with great credit and income. Her poor mgmt skills, this properties lacking customer service and the lack of taking care of this in a timely manner has lost my interest in this property, or any properties ran by this company. If you drop the ball during application process, I can only imagine the nightmare this place is when living here. And for $2500 a month for a 1 bedroom they should be begging someone to rent their units.....oh wait they are, they are offering 2 months free and a $250 admin credit. Get better stuff and you won't have to do all of that.
