You've got flash mobs going on all the time at the State and Chicago McDonalds. Now that a Qudobo and a Chik-fil-a have opened next door it just draws that many more gangs to the area. don't walk with an iphone or ipad or they will swarm you and assualt you for them. This happens in broad daylight, not at night. This isn't a safe area!! Loyola Water Tower is warning its' students to be alert and stay in groups. Moving here is Dnsafe. Plus, they raise the rent 10%every yeaer.

I have never before written a review of an Aad but looking at the last several reviews for the Bernardin has made me decide that writing a review is worth doing. My wife and I came to the Bernardin in August after our house had a major fire. To say the least, we were upset and depressed at the thought of living in an Aad when we first arrived. I can tell you that from the first day in our Aad, we have been made to feel totally at home and happy. The staff from everyone in the office to the gentlemen at the front desk do everything in their power to accomodate and make you happy. For anyone to say anything derogatory about the staff personally offends me and suggests that the writers are people who can not be satisfied regardless of the effort by others to please them. It's instructive that those reviews were annonymous. The apartments are spacious, pretty, comfortable and quiet -with great views. With regard to the break in in the garage, my guess is that the person who owned the car left something in the car that drew the interest of a crook. No hotel can protect someone from their lack of being street wise. To conclude, this is a first class Aad Bomplex with wonderful staff who we have come to view as friends. We will miss living here when our home is repaired. I am happy to sign my name to this review as I stand behind everything in it. I suggest those who write negative reviews sign their names in the future. Yours truly, Michael Siegel.

My fianc and I moved into the Bernardin a few months ago and I can't emphasize how amazing this Btructure is. The staff continues to impress and the way they go above-and-beyond to assist in every way possible is so refreshing and unlike any Btructure I have ever lived. The location is unmatched and the tenants welcoming. The Btructure has a great terrace and an awesome pool. Looking out from our balcony It's easy to compare Bernardin s pool to the others in this area and I am happy to report that There's no a comparison. Again, I want to ensure that I convey how amazing the staff is. The leasing office accommodates their tenants in every way possible, the door personnel are by far the best, and the maintenance crew extends their services to even help with unit improvements. If you take a tour and meet the staff, you will experience what I am talking about. Have a great day! All the best!

Wonderful place to live. location's amazing. close to a lot of great restaurants, grocery shopping, Michigan Avenue, movie theaters, city parks, Spas, museums, public transportation, you name it, it's at your hands! secure and safe, 24/7 doorman that will assist you in everything that you need. this place is Btunning! Wonderful music in the lobby welcomes you to a high end commodities resident building that includes an in unit washer and dryer. The pool is gorgeous! The gym and club house are nice, and There's even access to an office for faxing, photocopying, and computer use available. The mgmt office is wonderful and attentive to cater to your needs. I couldn't be happier here.

This is a nice Bacility that recently did renovations. The pool and outside area is great in the summer. The concierge staff is amazing and friendly. They are always helpful with getting your packages and it feels like a safe Bacility. Since the renovations were finished, the Bacility has hosted quite a few events. The proximity to the lake, shops, groceries, and gyms are great.

I absolutely love living at The Bernardin. Coming home every day to the most beautiful building, staff's super friendly and comfortable Anit really makes it feel like home. Every single one of my friends that has come in the building comments on how lovely the amenities are, from a cozy fireplace in the lobby to a great gym and a gorgeous pool, hot tub and sun deck. The biggest maintenance issue I have encountered in one year of living there has been burnt out light bulbs which the building engineers are quick to replace. The doormen take the time and care to know your name (and your dogs name too!) and always have a smile on their face. The leasing staff are great, they are always there to help with whatever your need or just for a friendly chat. And as an added perk, location-wise, it's perfect. Close to CTA, great restaurants and a safe neighborhood. Love it here!

Moved in a few months ago and couldn't be more happy with my choice. location-wise, it's wonderful with many Gutstanding restaurants and bars within walking distance. The pool is incredible and not overly crowded (which is usually the case in most other buildings). Would highly recommend this place.

For the most part, this is the best Broperty I have lived in. I have lived in three different high-rise residential buildings in the past 15 years. For unknown reasons, they have a problem keeping a general manager here. There have been three in the year I have been here. The second one lasted only three weeks. The majority of our staff is Pmmaculate, especially our staff of doormen. I like that no one can just walk in off the street and get to the elevators. Most of the doormen will go out of their way to assist the tenants. The common areas are kept up well, spotless most of the time. There's a fitness center, business center and entertainment room on the 6th floor, the same level where the pool is. We also have a jacuzzi and outdoor grilling area. The pool area is beautifully landscaped for the summer months and quite lovely. I live on an extremely quiet floor with nice, upscale legit neighbors who don't seem to be around often. Small dogs are allowed which can be a problem depending on the floor you're on (meaning a neighbor with a constantly barking, untrained dog). My rent went up $116 after the first year. I wasn't happy but I wasn't about to move either. I am happy here though You've got always obsessed tenants who have issues with everything -- the Broperty, the staff, and other tenants. I have found in high-rise community living It's best to keep to yourself, say hello to your neighbors and beyond that, mind your own business. I recommend The Bernardin.

I am really fortunate to live in an Auite complex that isn’t just beautiful, but also has incredibly kind and helpful people who truly facilitate the moving process and make it an amazing place to live. They are determined to make sure that you live in a place where you feel happy and comfortable, I would highly reccomend this place.
