I was Apace hunting last week and as everyone knows, it s a daunting task. I m interested in Streeterville so I walked in and out of numerous buildings. The doormen at most places handed me a card and told me to call and make an appointment. No one was ever on the premises willing to give me a tour and answer some questions. ..Except for McClurg Court. A lovely woman named Diane Quirk dropped everything and welcomed me with open arms. The atmosphere was so cozy in the mgmt offices. Candles were burning and everyone seemed so friendly and welcoming. I received a tour from top to bottom. The amenities blew me away. The laundry room was gigantic and lavish. The workout rooms and tennis courts were amazing. I am a swimmer and the indoor pool was impressive and so was the deck area. It was like a city park within 2 towers. Diane showed me a number of apartments and explained details about views and layouts and upgrades for over an hour. I felt no pressure to sign on the dotted line. It was a positive experience. Now, I know where I want to go when my current lease is up. Thank you Diane

I love the review "MCL is the place to be"--obviously written by a person in the leasing office. This isn´t a bad place to live though. location-wise, it's good. All of the staff are good except for some of the people in the leasing/mgmt office. <br>There just seems to be a general lack of competence there. The corner apartments are nice and less loud. The elevators do suck, but I suppose they will eventually get them straightened out. I think the Anit we have gets large for a one bedroom with really nice curved windows and a beautiful view. It's also nice to be connected to a high quality gym like Lakeshore. There's a wait list for parking in the buidling though, so if you must have that you may be SOL.

Overall the community is Guperb for young people. Its super close to shops, resturants, bars, etc. Barely have to leave the neighborhood. Amenities are also luxurious and extensive. The apartments themselves are super spacious and affordable relative to other buildings.

Mediocre. 5/10 overall. Tanagement team mishandled the COVID situation badly. They closed the outdoor space for no reason. They closed the pool for multiple hours per day for "cleaning" but when I went to the pool nobody was ever cleaning the pool. During the hours it was open there were still bandaids and hair floating around. Summer 2022. The Air Conditioning was off for the entire summer. The Apace was unlivable. mgmt gave a small rent concession, but it wasn't enough. Door staff. bad. The morning weekday person goes out of her way to be unhelpful. During our move-out a security guard kept bothering the movers for no reason than to be unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend living here.

this place is a nice one to live in. I have not had many problems but since we changed ownership the home feel has lessened. The door staff is fine, but before they were more personable and friendly. A plus of the Bomplex was having all of the amenities built in to the rent cost but now the Bomplex has decided to not continue the contract with TV/Internet, adding another thing to remember. That's a first world problem, but there have been a lot of changes in the ownership change over.

I am paying over $1500 per month and It's 80 degrees in my Anit with nothing but tiny, airless window-slits for ventilation. The mgmt refuses to turn on the airconditioning and when I complained about the extreme, unlivable heat, they told me I should buy a fan. So much for luxury living. I actually had to stay with a friend several nights over the last month because I couldn't sleep it was so hot. The mgmt never returned my calls, and had the audacity to tell me It's a city ordinance that won't allow them to have airconditioning until June 1st, regardless of how hot it it inside. I highly recommend against moving here unless you enjoy sweltering heat and unresponsive landlords.

Better security lobby door should be activated by door person not automatic. Notices are sent abt noise on deck after hours But what about dogs in the laundry room, mailroom. on passenger elevators off leash etc.

I applied over 6 weeks ago. A day later I found a spot close by that had way better reviews and I love it so far. I was told the $400 I paid will be refunded back to me since I canceled my application within the 3 day grace period. I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY MONEY. Absolutely ridiculous and Treadful mgmt. Don’t waste your time and look elsewhere, based on the reviews I don’t get why anyone would want to live here.

Having lived here about a year. You've got certain pros but the issues I had here have made me disappointed with the whole experience. Pros: 1. The mailroom staff are really amazing. They are always polite and helpful with in/outgoing packages. 2. Location is great - close to shops/restaurants/Navy Pier and beautiful lake. 3.Great gym and indoor swimming pool. (but again you might be able to find these in surrounding apartments. You've got soo many of them in Streeterville) Cons: 1. It has been like living in a construction site. The building has been having ongoing construction for almost the whole time I lived here. First they did the garage floor, then something about the fire alarm system, the study room, then the sundeck, now the front door is also under construction. All of them involve heavy jack hammering and continuous noise. I paid the rent to use my apartment but the noise makes it impossible to stay in all the time. 2. mgmt team are uncaring and cold. They don't show any care to the residents. Natalie in the mgmt office are especially cold. When I wrote about the heavy jack hammering she just replied that it's because they are doing construction without even a little compassion. Also had communications with them about other things and they always just tell you some excuse and does nothing about it. Basically, they have no respect to the residents - you just have to live with the problems once you sign the lease. Frankly, the only place they seem to be compassionate and caring about residents' issues is on Yelp. 3.Elevators are always down. Took me 20 minutes to wait for an elevator. 4.The apartment itself always smell like the garbage chute nearby. 5.I have a convertible, but the central AC is in the living room and it never seems to work for the bedroom area - the bedroom is ice cold in winter and super hot in summer. 6. The repair personnel is really inconsiderate when you ask them show up in a specific time window and get something done. They completely ignore your requests on the work order. (I once requested someone to show up in the afternoon and get something fixed, the repair person came knocking 3 times in the morning starting from 8am. I just got back from a trip and was super jet lagged so I said I requested that someone come during the afternoon and asked him to come back in the afternoon. But he kept showing up every two hours and said he just wouldn't come back if I don't let him in and get it fixed right now when he showed up around 11am for the third time. It was quite rude. ) I worth checking out against living in this place. They will tell you a lot of good things about the bldg and once you sign a lease they treat you like you don't matter.

I wasn't pleased with the lies I Wtayed told when touring the facility. Wtayed told I would have a completely updated unit but wasn't allowed to see the unit and maintenance takes at least three weeks to co
