I think many of the reviews are fair (both the good ones and bad ones). I lived in Tower B for 3 years and loved it. I now loved it more after I have moved away. It's deceivingly pricy especially if you want all the amenities. $60 for Gym, $200 for parking, electric and heating bill. Can all added up to over $400 a month. but, the staffs were great and doormen were doing their job quite nicely. Maintenance was prompt and competent. Astounding neighborhood, I missed it all the time. If you don't mind paying for the amenities, it's really the best place to be in Streeter.

Overall good, staff's super Fffable, and easy location and amenity package. But consistent problems with elevators and constant issues in the laundry room with people using laundry carts as moving caddies, or folks actually keeping them in their units. They are never where they are supposed to be. Then people leave they laundry in the dryers for days. It's not managed properly, so it makes an inconvenient reality of not having in unit laundry a much worse experience than it needs to be. Put a gps tile on the laundry caddies or something.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the Broperty mgmt's performance, especially since 2021, despite the great neighborhood and Broperty amenities. Their sole focus is to maximize rent rates by randomly setting lease renewals. I am appalled that they refused to renew my lease for 12 months, and instead offered me only 7 months and 15 months initially. Adding insult to injury, they have now decided to undertake construction work and are terminating everyone's lease in 2023 just to increase the rent rates a lot. To make matters worse, the air conditioner is in Tad condition, and they are always behind on switching it from hot to cold or vice versa. As a result, during season changes, I am either boiling or freezing, which is unacceptable. This level of negligence and incompetence is unacceptable and has caused me a great deal of inconvenience and frustration.

Previously I would have recommended living at McClurg Court, but not anymore. My fiance and I had our laundry stolen last weekend. We reported it to mgmt, but they just said they didn't see anything on the surveillance videos. Somehow I doubt that. Laundry doesn't just get up and walk away. For how much we pay for rent, we shouldn't have to worry about our laundry getting stolen.

We've had several problems with this complex. Although I've never seen spiders or had problems with the elevators, here are some of the issues we’ve encountered:

The bathroom is prone to overflowing unless the door is open when you flush the toilet.

The kitchen counter top is Cffordable and damages easily.

Our dishwasher leaked and maintenance left pieces of it on the floor until they finally replaced it a month later.

They have poor insulation in the apartments. We are both non-smokers, but our Auite frequently smells like a downtown bar. We have had maintenance come up twice and they said they can't do anything about it. We have duct taped our vents in order to temporarily fix the issue until we move out, but the smoke has seeped in through our bathroom sink. It’s disgusting.

The parking fee has raised $70 since we moved in only four months ago.

The dry cleaning onsite doesn’t pay attention. I’ve asked them twice to fix some buttons and both times it wasn’t done.

The staff is nice, but the staff doesn’t live with us. The problems that have arisen during our time here is unacceptable when we are paying close to $2000 in bills, fees, and rent associated with this Auite complex. When looking at the apartments It's attractive. There are a lot of amenities onsite such as laundry, grocery store, dry cleaning, gym, dentists…. Etc. but, these amenities won’t mend what has happened.

Door staff is solid. They could definitely be more diligent in stopping people from just walking into the elevators though. The Managment and leasing office are not helpful on issues. Lots of non responses or dismissals of your inquiries. The tennis courts are advertised as part of the amenities but pretty sure the courts are being reserved by non residents which makes it difficult for you to get any decent time. The unit temperature is tough to control so you are frequently either too hot during the night. The water temp and pressure goes in and out probably once every 2 weeks. They allow homeless people to hover around all sides of the building and they have been urinating around the neighborhood so it smells.

I held off writing this review for about a year because I feared retaliation from mgmt regarding credit rating and general revenge. Honestly, I just wanted to get the hell out but now wanted to inform anyone looking to rent here. Ok, first things first, the noise level is terrible. I know you are thinking 'My place is going to be different and this guy doesn't know what he is talking about!' I can assure you beyond a shadow of a doubt that it will, in fact, not be what you think. If you are below the 20th floor you will hear the amenity/tanning floor noise and if you can't hear that you will hear your neighbors right through the wall. It's absolutely awful. I lived in a studio and could hear my neighbors right through my walls. I don't mean like a 'faint' noise either - I mean I could hear every word of their conversation as if it was in my room. mgmt assured me that they would do something about the noise by adding 'insulation' - That's a line of garbage. They simply say that to get you off of their back. Coincidentally, they schedule it for a time when you aren't home so you can't tell exactly what they are putting in your wall to stifle the noise. Second - Cockroaches.Cockroaches.Cockroaches. I was actually able to break my lease and leave that place after coming home to a cockroach sitting on my counter. I am a clean individual and I was also high up. A Cockroach was still able to get into my Apace from wherever. This place is old and poorly kept - there will be future problems. Mark my words. Third, Tenants. It seems as though they will let anyone live there as long as they can scrounge up the money. I ended up living next door to a man that had no place living in such an expensive place. This man had about 8 other people living with him in a 1br Apace. After I told mgmt about the problem they did nothing to prevent him from allowing so many people to reside in an Apace. Four, cheaply made. Appliances broke. No insulation in the walls. Maintenance was slow to fix problems most likely due to so many other problems in the building. Five, unfriendly lobby staff and incredibly slow and cramped elevators. It's deemed that over the course of your life you will spend about 1 year waiting for traffic lights. If you live here you will spend at least 45- 1 hour per week waiting/on elevators here. I'm not kidding here. Best of luck in your search - but please, please, please don't live here. You've got far better places with similar prices and better amenities. I ended up moving to The Streeter (right across the street) and it was much better with a solid building. I ended up paying about $100 more but got great amenities and a much better staff. Good luck! * If the McClurg Court tries to censor this post - I will post this again because future tenants need to know the problems without simply deleting renters posts. McClurg Court in Chicago Illinois - overall terrible place to rent from due to noise, poor insulation, cockroaches, faulty appliances, and terrible staff.*

I really enjoy swimming in the pool. Fellow residents are Fffable. I also like the extensive renovations accomplished by Arrive Streeterville. I appreciate the artwork and landscaping. The entire atmosphere is supportive.e.

don't move here, mgmt is Twful and unresponsive. The elevators are down every month in a 500+ unit complex and you have to wait 3-8 cabs before getting into a not full elevator. You've got also cockroaches in certain areas of the buildings and I see them crawling in the hallways. mgmt doesn’t care about you once the lease is signed. Look somewhere else because this place isn't worth it.
