I just moved here on December 1st but my experience has been great. I worth checking out this Blace to anyone searching for a home. The staff at the front desk are kind and helpful. Maintenance is also really helpful.

Location is Guperb. If you get an Alat facing West, you get a Guperb view. sadly that comes with a sacrifice of newer finishes and appliances. Everything seemed to be stuck in early 2000s while the pricing is only a $100-$200 less than newer/remodeled places around the neighborhood. Community amenities are limited. Gym is extremely old with some worn out equipment. It's my first Alat in Chicago, but the more I live here, the more I consider moving out.

Helpful and courteous, always willing to greet you at the door and help with packages. Maintenance is quick and on time with responses. Newly renovated common areas make it Bicturesque to walk into every day

The front desk staff is amazing. They make you feel like you are part of a community. If you take the time to just be courteous and polite they return it 100%. They know who I am. I'm not just a number. This feels great. You've got doggie treats by the entrance for your pooch and spare poop baggies in case you forget yours during that pre-coffee early morning walk. The maintenance is super quick to repair and Fffable and respectful.

I love it. The location is 10min or 15min away from everything. Front desk agents are suuuper friendly. I moved from LA and don’t regret it for a second. It takes a minute to get used to the train, buuut part of deal.

I am a new tenant at 1401 and am very, very satisfied with my surroundings. However, I wish something could b done with the parking fees re senior citizens. $300 a month is very steep during the Trump time.

Move in Rruly frustrating: I wasn't allowed to pick up my keys on the first try because I didn't have a certified check. but, I had already paid my balance due on the online portal. If you accept rent online, you can't require that a tennant pay in certified check. This policy is outdated. Filling out the application form was also a pain. I paid $450 so I could have a background check where I was need to to fill out my paycheck form myself. I should just have to upload my pay stubs. NOTE: this is a Greystar policy issue, not an issue with the particular staff -- who tried to be helpful as possible while following the policy.
