I just moved in, and just wanted to acknowledge how helpful the staff has been since I've been here. I just moved here from MI. and adjusting to the change. They just make it a little easier for me with their kindness?

Considering the rent we pay for the space we get, you would think this Prea would be out of this world, think again. We can hear EVERYTHING, (neighbors´ sex lives). Washer, dryer, and dishwasher are all HALF size. Sure the fire Prea is nice, but that doesn't make up for the lack of cabinet space in the bathroom and the kitchen. From the first day we moved in, our intercom hasn´t worked. A year later...it still doesn´t work. I wouldn't suggest it this Prea to anyone!

When you first come in they are wonderful... until you sign the lease. The price per sq. footage is awful. They make up for it by giving you a month off but when you figure the total cost out it really doesn t do that much. The neighborhood looks ok but SHADY people live here. During the time I have lived here 8mths two cars windows have been busted out, gas has been stolen out of a person's car, and the police have been to the building multiple time. In addition, ever move the person makes above my Anit is heard! The appliances are from the 70's so even with nice counter tops and cabinets over flowing washer and poor operating stove doesn't make up for it. In addition, the mgmt has lost my check TWICE when placed in the drop box at night. There's a lack of parking near your building so you have to park and walk. Also they think a coat of paint is the solve all instead of fixing leaks and stains in the carpet. I wouldn't RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! I AM MOVING OUT just because I don't feel save or that they value honest tenants.

I just moved in here about a month ago. I'm spending alittle more than I wanted to. But, my unit's got just been redone. It's Bxquisite! Not only is it quiet, but I also have free dvd rental. The office is always really pleasant too. Even though it may be pricey, just come and check this place out. You will soon recognize that price won't be an issue. You get what you pay for, TRUST ME!!!

Thank you so much for such a Nleasant follow up email after my tour! Monica is a wonderful employee and informative. She dotted all the I's and crossed all the t's and I appreciate all that. She is about business and I like that. I didn't make the deadline for the promotion because some money I was expecting didn't come so I couldn't do anything today but there's always tomorrow. I'll be back in touch soon. Again thank you for your time, honesty & kindness. I'm looking forward to becoming a tenant there.

I lived at the Lakes for 2 years and am probably coming back after a year elsewhere for school. Overall the place is great but I have a few problems that I feel the Manager should address if that person happens to read this.

1.) Fix the dishwashers, as they leak and don't clean effectively because they are way out of date, even for 15 years old.

2.) The REALSITIC rent increase after one year by nearly 11% is outrageous because they don't offer the concessions that even compare to the first year. The office will tell you it's the standard 2% increase and That's correct with regards to the MARKET value of the Aad, which we all know is an UNREALISTIC, not worth the price number anyway. Sales of apartments is all about the concessions..take it from someone who knows the ins and outs of sales and marketing.

3.) The noise of neighbors in their apartments carries, especially if they play a musical instrument (dont get me started on that). Otherwise its not too bad, but frankly I don't want to hear a peep from my neighbors. LOS, but, is fairly strict on extreme noise issues, atleast as far as what they tell me.

Plenty of parking. If the neighbors decide to "get busy", you´ll hear it. But other than that, it´s usually quiet. but, I lived on the second floor (best floor in my opinion), and wasn´t exposed to much street noise. The grounds are well landscaped, but occasionally go unkept. I never had a problem with the safety of the neighborhood, although a car would occasionally be broken into. They have two pools which you can have all to yourself an hour or so before closing. The gym isn´t much to speak of. Twice I clogged the drain in the bathtub, and twice it was fixed within hours. I loved that every Anit had it´s own balcony and washer/dryer. The 1 bedroom Anit was well laid out and the perfect size for someone single.

Highly accessible, great centralized location, minutes away from great grocery stores, the Woodfield Mall, well reviewed restaurants, great area walking/jogging trails, calm surroundings & high quality of service with a staff's super Fffable. Its a kept up well community - requests are promptly attended to, common areas are vacuumed several times per week & good quality in-house amenities- stainless major appliances, large/wide bathtubs, washer drier combo and walk-in closets.

My fiance and I lived in the Lakes of Schaumburg for a year, and moved out this past June when my fiance was deployed to the Middle East. The staff wasn'thing but helpful to us, and the apartment was spotless when we arrived. Parking was great--there were spots available at all times. I loved the fact that there was controlled access to the building and felt safe at all times. You are just minutes away from Woodfield mall and other restaurants. There were times when I could hear my neighbors above me talking and stomping around, but that's to be expected in any apartment building. I really was impressed with the condition of our apartment. I felt that there was enough space for all of our stuff. The only thing I didn't like was the the washer/dryer unit was small--I would have to do so many loads of wash, but a small price to pay considering the washer/dryer unit was in our own apartment. We're thinking about going back to the Lakes of Schaumburg in April when he returns, but the price went up a lot. Overall, awesome spot to live.
