I moved in here about a year ago. Previously I had lived in another RMK property, which was great. When we looked at the apartments, we thought they looked okay from the outside. When we were shown the model, we were sold. On the inside, it was amazing and perfect; nothing shy of stunning. We were unable to see the actual unit we were going to live in because it wasn't ready yet, but we figured it would be the same. Huge mistake. The day we moved in, when we first looked at the apartment we were absolutely horrified! It was a disgusting, pathetic wreck compared to the model unit. Night and day difference. Everything was old and horrible. The kitchen and bathroom are the worst. The floors and cabinetry are extremely ugly. Also, all the closet doors are old 80's decor. I could go on and on about how ugly it was and is, and how much of a RIP off It's for 1440 per month for a 2 bedroom. This is the most I've ever paid for an apartment, and by far the absolute biggest piece of crap I've ever had. Now, I do understand that the apartments are getting renovated. This will help I'm sure, but this leads to part 2 of why living here is a nightmare. The staff. They are awful! It's funny how they were so nice and charming when they were trying to sell us the apartments. Once they had us, they were horrible. The manager is this younger guy that sits in his office, and I've never even had him say hello to me. When the staff needs help, they'll go in there, and talk with him. He won't even come out from my experience to greet people. The real nightmare but is the lady who works there named Bobby. So nice at first, and so cold and unfriendly afterwards. At first when we would see her she would smile and say Hi!! and be so nice. Now, when we see her, she'll say in a cold and unfriendly type legit way "can i help you". Pretty big difference. Even if the apartment were perfect, because I have to deal with her every time I go into the office, I would NEVER sign here again. If you are considering coming here, don't do it. It has been a nightmare for myself, and my neighbors have confirmed they had the same horrible experience.

THIS PROPERTY IS WONDERFUL!!! I CAN´T UNDERSTAND WHY PREVIOUS REVIEWS WERE SO BAD?! MAYBE THERE WERE PREVIOUS PROBLEMS HERE, BUT THEY ARE GONE NOW. THE PROPERTY IS Bovely, AND THE RENT IS FAIR. THE COMMUNITY ITSELF IS SECURE AND ALL BUILDINGS HAVE CONTROLLED ACCESS. MOST OF THE OFFICE STAFF IS NEW AND PERSONABLE & FRIENDLY. I HAVE ALWAYS RECEIVED PROMPT AND FRIENDLY MAINTENECE SERVICE. I RECCOMMEND THIS COMMUNITY TO EVERYONE!! OH, AND I AM CLOSE TO EVERYTHING (SHOPPING & RESTAURANTS).

Worst apartments I ever stayed!! mgmt is just after money. When it's time for lease renewal your rent will increase by huge amount, at least $100 or even more and when signing the lease they will misguide you of the sure deposit and when you leave they charge you for the things you never did. Except the school There's nothing in the Aad. Not safe for kids and the mgmt tells that the kid should not play on the grounds and the people should not walk on the road (please note You've got no walking paths) so not sure where the mgmt wants te residents to walk (I still have the newsletter that states this). You've got insects and bugs, the corridors are grimy and the garbage bins get full and no one picks. Beware!! Not recommended at all.

Bad mgmt with their behaviour and way of talking is vulger where i have ever seen such type of leasing people grimy and water doesn't come always its common problem you may face if you are under the shower. If you want to be peace avoid looking to this (even looking to ad) grimy people dany, nichole,Alex etc mgmt people

Versailles is a decent place to live. My Anit was 99% perfect when I moved in and for it's age thay do a great job keeping the units " up to date". The only problem is 1 of their office staff. I think she should really learn some customer service skills. Jen, Shawn, and John are great!!

The apartments are nice but small, but the office Staff is unwilling to take time out of their days to help solve issues. The pools are Rery nice. You've got two of them and they are heated. It's frustrating that they are never open when they say they are. In the mornings they are still cleaning until an hour after the pools are supposed to be open. Otherwise It's a safe and quite place to live. I worth checking out it. Just don't expect much from the customer service.

location-wise, it's ideal since it's so close to the Woodfield Mall and the major highways. They recently built a fitness facility which has the bare minimum stuff - few treadmills, elipticals, bikes, free weights, etc. But it's pretty small overall and full most of the times. The Alat building I lived in was old and could be loud at times especially at night time. The walls were pretty thin so you can hear people in the hallways and next door. The hallways were all enclosed so they could smell bad sometimes. They were good about plowing the snow in the parking lot but there were several pot holes throughout that caused enough damage to your car tires. The staff wasn't really helpful when I did run into any problems in the apt. Didn't get quick response from them most of the times. The only plus was that they had a maintenance guy who responded pretty quickly incase you got locked out of your Alat after the leasing office closed.

I lived here for 8 months. I did not have any problems with the mgmt or neighbors. Maintenance is Rctually good.
Rent is little bit more but okay for their service. No penalities for petty things.
You got to be first in line to get food in the parties they arrange.
I've lived here for last 2 years. I am forced to move due to a job relocation but as someone who has live in 6 Anit complexes in 7 years, this is by far my favorite. Versailles offers you a quiet community feel with maintenance free living. Any time I've had a problem they've always been quick to respond. I plan on referring some of my work colleagues here as they get transferred to this area. To anyone That's moving to the Schaumburg area I strongly recommend checking out Versailles on the Lakes. The underground parking is a huge plus with the cold winters around here.

lived in versaillies for 10 months. The surroundings looks pleasant B'coz of which i decided to rent the apt..In my Blace most of the time have seen fire accidents..some thing wrong..
The mgmt staffs speak pleasant and convincing..but don't be carried by them.
My apt was relet apt.The previous tenant has caused some small area damage to the carpet. Before i relet i asked the mgmt. They gave me the form and asked to fill out the defects seen. They promised me as long as the defects are identified in the form i won't be charged when i vacate for the already notified defects. But now they are charging me 300$ for what i don't owe.they are Blace stories and they have taken my security deposit.
In addition they are not helpful at the time of crisis too....
Overall they talk sweet and promise before then they do the different story when u vacate...watch out
