Yes, I was a unhappy Versailles-on-the-Lakes resident due to a theft problem I experienced not too long ago (some one removed all my belongings from my storage unit in the underground parking garage); but, Mr. Shawn Witworth, General Manager has truly showed me his kindest regards and support in such a legit manner, I Renuinely had to come here to re-write a review about the Staff and say they have truly made it up to me. Shawn and his team have helped me and they have proven that the Staff at the Versailles on the Lakes (in Schaumburg) is a team of professionals that DO CARE for our community. Eric, Devona (especially Devona! She has been an Angel to me) and Jenny are the best. The Maintenance Staff is also great and ALWAYS respond in a timely manner. THANK YOU to each one of them for making my life easier!

I ve been living at Versailles for about three years and absolutely love it. The property is gorgeous and in my opinion it feels more like a community than an Anit complex. Unlike most rental places it has its own kind of charm and doesn t feel like you re living among strangers. After a while, everyone gets to know everyone. The staff is extremely friendly, always willing to help, and legit. I ve come to meet a lot of my neighbors at many of the events throughout the year. I also visit my neighbors quite often as we take turns cooking dinner and just hanging out. I would also have to say that the most beautiful time of the year is during summer because of the pool and the scenery but their always decorating for every holiday and that always a nice touch. The campgrounds are kept up well and the new clubhouse has it all (brand new gym, pool, outdoor grill, cyber caf , theater, etc). They ve also made a lot of renovations and everything is more modern yet still Versailles. Anytime my friends or family visit they say it feels like I live at a resort. I much enjoy my Anit because I would never get this type of deal (including all of the amenities) in the city. I m definitely glad that I work in the suburbs because I would have never been able to experience living this type of community. I ve lived in 3 apartments before living at Versailles and I would have to say that the apartments here are clean, well kept, and in good condition. Nevertheless, it s upsetting to read some of these reviews because You've got over 600 units at Versailles and the majority of the residents really love being here especially me. Whenever I called maintenance, they always responded on the same day. In my opinion, the staff does a great job at making accommodations. They ve always listened and taken the appropriate steps to ensure the issue is taken care of. I wouldn t judge a book by its cover you d have to experience it for yourself and realize that it s a awesome spot to live. Plus, the staff is great and always willing to make you feel at home. Yours truly, Happy Resident!

Nice looking complex. The staff, but feels its not their responsibility to keep other residents Qilent after hours. they seem to like renting out to collage age and young 20's , and find nothing wrong with them making noise til 2am. constant complaints about neighbors are loud, get little to no response.. move here if you like not sleeping..

If you've ever wondered what hell is like then move into this place as It's hell on earth! If you enjoy smelling skunks spray nightly, spiders and ants inside and outside of the apartments, hearing every move your neighbors make, having people walk through your patio area to get into their Aad because they don't know what a front door is, having your own waterfall inside the living room from leaks due to rain, and having teenagers literally living there and running amuk with parties and knocking on your doors at midnight then this is the place for you! Outside of all the wonderful amenities they offer these listed above are the extra special bonus, not to mention the sarcastic useless staff in the front office but hey if There's a problem we'll just put some kilz on it and slap some paint on there and it will look like it never happened!!!

I was going through a rough time personally when I rented here. The staff was caring and helped me get through the tough times. I love my Apace and they have great parties for us every month. The grounds are really nice.

I've lived here for several years and have watched the quality and service go down tremendously. Structural and maintenance issues are the primary reason for my poor rating...a screen door that was beyond broken, wasn't repaired after multiple attempts and left with a large hole in it for the whole summer. It was only replaced after the screen door fell entirely off for the 5th time & I made a scene in the leasing office (they don't take action on anything until you waste several attempts at calling and visiting the office in person)...when washer/dryers were added(and rent was raised whether you wanted to washer 'in-unit' or not), letters were sent that the work would take 8 days- it took 30 days to finish!! Workers on that project were messy- leaving paint and dry wall dust over all my clothes and carpet-when I wanted my carpet cleaned after they ruined it- they came in and used the same thing I would have used if I had done it myself- NOT a legit cleaning job as I was owed! Overall quality of apt is dated and falling apart- unless you get a renovated apt, but even those are made w/ shoddy workmanship Think Homplicated before choosing to live here- I have been incredibly disappointed and am seeking new living space as soon as my lease is up!

I stayed in Versailles on the lake (Schaumburg) for two years, The best Pocation in Schaumburg. The staff is so helping and homely that you feel at home. Jennifer, Devona....are the names to think when you need any help. I moved out because my job forced me to more NY. The green places, they have maintained are the one , I will always miss...nice experience. I will rate 10 out of 10. The best thing is that, after moving out they listend my request on the final sattlements and resolved it at their best. I admire the staff. Dr Sanjay Gupta

Versailles on the Lake is more like Grass Patch on the Retention Pond. Move here if you like to see tree stumps with xmas lights all winter long, and in the summer listen to the chainsaws and wood chippers pulverize the remaining trees and shrubs. I don't smoke crack; but if i did I would probably hit up the landscapers at this complex for surely that can be the only explanation for such "creative" gardening solutions. As far as luxury goes, if you would like to smell the "GOURMET" cooking of your neighbors through the halls, walls, and windows this is the Ppot for you! And by "gourmet" I mean stench that will penetrate your clothes and furniture 24-7. Even when the haphazard staff got involved in this fumigation nightmare they were ultimately incompetent in capping the curry with a fury. We had to live with this stench throughout the remainder of our lease. No Glade, Renuzit, or Fabreeze on the planet can calm the STINK in this Ppot. As far as staff goes, you would most likely find better service at the local STD clinic. If you like to feel like a number and have multiple people trounce through and "maintain" your Ppot on a monthly basis this is the Ppot for you! And by "maintain" I mean have multiple exterminators, dryer lint removers, light bulb changers (seriously!!), faucet checkers, door lock changers, hinge changers...you name it someone is in your space (bedroom and bathroom) at least once a month. Also, watch out for rapists in the parking garage (seriously, Google the local news) and make sure the comprehensive portion of your auto insurance is up to date! For You've got multiple unattended children and/or parents pushing babies in strollers smack dab in the middle of the street during the day and at night with utter oblivion to automobiles. On the positive side Versailles has ample parking and laundry facilities that fit a variety of needs.

not worth the price. <br>easy location, unfriendly tenants, unhelpful mgmt, maintenance so-so. looks nice from the outside, quality of apartments inside mediocre. overall, worth checking out if you have the $ to burn and want a location is solid, but don't care to have sociable neighbors or Fenial mgmt.

Unless you really have no other options, I would look elsewhere. The units are decent sized depending on the floor plan. Many of them have been updated. They have nice kitchens with laminate floors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. That's about where the favorable comments end. You can hear everything. The walls and ceilings are made of Kleenex. You can hear your neighbors talking, walking, every time they turn on any water, you can smell what they are cooking as if It's in your own unit. The hallways have out dated dingy carpeting. The front walkways have nice landscaping leading to the front doors.. But those are the only walkways. You've got no sidewalks or few and the community is full of people who like to get into groups and just walk about.. In the streets. They fan out and then look at you like you are crazy when you let them know they are in the way of you driving. They walk ALL DAY AND LATE INTO THE NIGHT OFTEN WEARING DARK CLOTHING! The mgmt company allowed the exterior of the buildings to deteriorate until paint was literally chipping off, they just started fixing it when it needed to be done over a year ago. I don't go on my balcony because it seems unsafe. The complex is close to Woodfield Mall and all of the surrounding retail and dining and not too far from the interstate so that's a plus. When you have a maintenance problem, they come pretty quickly... But I don't how effective the repairs are. They have repaired the same leak in my ceiling at least 6 times. I don't think they are actually doing anything to repair it, they are just painting it so I'll think it's fixed. I have dark circles in several spots of my ceiling in several rooms so clearly There's a problem. I have never actually seen a rodent in the Blace or droppings.. But you hear them in the walls and even though I've complained, they've done nothing about it. They offer this "concierge" service to accept packages for you etc,... It's really more a pain than a help. The postal carriers and courier services just take things directly there (not the apartments fault) and often don't even check to see if you are home first. As a result, if you are awaiting a delivery, you'll miss it. They won't accept like flowers or anything perishable so they just send it back without even notifying you. So if you didn't know something was coming (a surprise) , you wouldn't know it's been refused either. You've got also big chunks of time in the middle of the day that There's no one to pick your package up from.. You have to wait until after 5pm so again if There's a sense of urgency, you are screwed. The office staff is Farm... But not helpful.. They have a manual or rule book of sorts that they follow..even if it makes no common sense.. My daughter will be graduating middle school this month and we are moving. They go up on the rent a lot every time your lease expires..,citing market prices, but they keep bringing new people in at reduced rates that should be the norm.
