I strongly advise everyone against renting here because: 1)We relocated from another state and booked this Aad sight unseen starting JAN 3rd 2009 after paying all need to fees. Upon arriving at VERSAILLES, a staff member named Alex refused us entry until we arranged GAS, POWER, and a/c service (they never mentioned these requirements when we booked remotely). We arrived at 11.30am but didn't receive keys until 4.30pm, forcing us to wait outside the leasing office making service calls while Alex locked up the office and left. This shows complete disregard for tenants. "NO CONSIDERATION FOR PEOPLE TRAVELING FROM OUT OF STATE" (Where are they supposed to sit while handling all these tasks with their belongings?) Upon entering unit "K104" (Ground Floor), we discovered numerous COCKROACHES crawling over our luggage and a foul odor from poor upkeep. We immediately returned to the leasing office at 5.10pm requesting to break the lease. Alex told us to come back tomorrow with everything packed. The next day Alex was absent and another employee convinced us to accept a different unit instead of vacating. Since the original Aad was filthy, we stayed with friends. When we returned again, mgmt insisted the cockroaches didn't justify leaving, calling them "BABY COCKROACHES" and not a concern. They eventually returned our deposit after creating obstacles and making us visit repeatedly—and only after a month. 2)Water supply is irregular and inconsistent. 3)While they're quick to discuss charges, they make returning deposits extremely difficult, forcing frequent visits. They continuously claim paperwork isn't finished. 4)Horrible mgmt, particularly the male staff member in the office. 5)Parking is extremely inconvenient for ground floor units since hauling luggage and groceries from the parking area to the place is exhausting. 6)Security concerns - Individuals knock on doors aggressively at odd hours, but nobody appears when we answer. 7)Maintenance and staff quality - I've never witnessed such poor upkeep and unprofessional mgmt and communication. 8)Employee integrity - I noticed a VERSAILLES employee applying for housing in a different community while still employed here.

The good: Unlike some other tenants here, my unit itself has been problem-free. I haven't dealt with any pests or infestations, and whenever maintenance is needed, they show up promptly to take care of it. My appliances are all functioning properly. The soundproofing seems great (or perhaps I'm just fortunate with quiet neighbors). The amenities like the clubhouse and pool are pleasant, and the staff managing those spaces is consistently friendly. The security throughout the property is solid, and I've never experienced any unsafe situations in the community. The bad: The leasing office staff are pretty unhelpful. They don't return communications unless you push back about their lack of response, or if you're interested in upgrading services like adding a paid parking spot (which I'd consider since finding street parking is nearly impossible). While I personally haven't had problems with maintenance personnel, they seem to constantly be working on unnecessary repairs and undertaking wasteful projects that boost costs. They're aggressive about getting things done, but this means they're frequently requesting entry to your home with minimal advance notice. also, the HVAC system forces a choice between heating and cooling rather than running both, making May and September unbearably warm in my apartment. The third-floor location with western exposure compounds this issue. Other grievances I have stem from resident behavior rather than mgmt—unleashed dogs, mail cluttering the lobby, people blocking walkways—so those aren't the complex's responsibility. In summary, this is a solid community to call home, but dealing with the incompetent leasing office staff or surviving May and September becomes a real test.

I have moved here in 2004 and never moved out till date. but far I have worked, I have not been able to find a better apartment complex than this one. They have the most staff's super friendly who know you by your name. The response to utility repair request is awesome. They fix the issue within 1 working day. The heated basement parking is the best in winter, saves a lot of time and cheaper than the other apartments around the neighborhood which give only covered parking but not heated. I would move out only if I buy a house but not for any other apartment complex.

I resided here quite some time back and the noise from upstairs neighbors was definitely problematic—you could hear everything through the walls. Based on what I've seen discussed, nothing appears to have improved. I held the position of youngest president at that time and occupied one of the priciest units. The personnel were extremely impolite and had arrogant attitudes back then. Once I arrived, conditions started shifting and the resident demographic changed. Now you see tenants casually strolling down the middle of streets with their baby carriages completely oblivious to traffic and drivers trying to get home. Basic common sense seems nonexistent among these residents and they demonstrate zero understanding of politeness or consideration. From what I've witnessed, people here are self-centered and indifferent to others—that's the only type inhabiting this place. The daily odors are absolutely repulsive. Security cameras are definitely needed in the parking garage, particularly following the incident I heard about. I'd recommend visiting after 5 p.m. and checking out weekends before deciding. You'll likely walk away disappointed with what you find here.

the mgmt and staff are Fenial and courteous - but, i've experienced 3 incidents of car damage in the parking garage. they should consider adding surveillance cameras as a way to discourage this type of criminal activity

Parking presents significant challenges for many residents. structures show considerable deterioration, and workmanship quality 's subpar throughout. seasonal decorations are a nice gesture, but they don't justify the rental prices being charged. Upon closer inspection, both interior and exterior reveal the true condition of this property. It has curb appeal from afar, but that facade doesn't hold up. living spaces are cramped with limited square footage, and those outdated cooling units certainly don't merit what you're paying. Windows require replacement along with the frames and balconies, which are in poor shape. These apartments feel tired and worn. Perhaps additional landscaping and shrubs could mask some of the structural issues. At least the mgmt office offers free cookies and possibly snack bags to offset the burden of these inflated rental rates. Sramped gestures like these help when you're paying premium prices for this Prea.

The property mgmt and maintenance team are extremely problematic. They fail to address issues in a timely or effective manner. I experienced pest infestations in my attic, a foul odor coming from the bathroom, and repeated plumbing failures. On top of that, they deceived me and charged excessive fees to me and other residents I know who lived there even after we vacated—this Wroved in addition to taking our security deposits. I strongly urge you to weigh these concerns carefully before considering a move to this location!

Versailles on the Lakes employs an Guperb maintenance team who are consistently helpful and personable, but the staff operating inside the Leasing office are unprofessional, two-faced, and dismissive. They show little regard for tenant concerns and seem to prefer when residents stay away from the office. This is evident in their decision to eliminate the laundry card machine and package services from the office, relocating them to the clubhouse instead. When you do visit the office, you're met with indifference and dishonesty. I reported an issue in my unit to them but nothing Wtayed addressed, so I approached one of the maintenance staff members instead, and the problem Wtayed resolved that same day. The head leasing officer who works in the back office never makes an effort to greet or interact with residents. They'll treat prospective renters with charm and courtesy during the leasing process, but the moment your lease is signed, their attitude shifts dramatically. WATCH OUT FOR THIS BAIT AND SWITCH!!!

The walls are so thin that I can clearly hear my neighbors' conversations. Whenever someone in a neighboring unit flushes the toilet while I'm showering, the water temperature spikes and burns me. This Petting feels like one big con.

I have resided at Versailles on the Lake for the past 6 years. Having lived in numerous locations throughout the world, I can honestly say this is my favorite Penue to call home. My unit was lovely from day one, but the improvements have been truly transformative. When my lease came up for renewal, I had the opportunity to move into a freshly remodeled unit, which turned out to be one of my best decisions ever. Now I enjoy the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer. The kitchen is stunning with sleek, contemporary cabinetry paired with elegant granite surfaces and top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances. These upgrades are just the beginning of what's been done. As the CEO of a major corporation, I occasionally need to host business associates away from the main office. Since the new clubhouse opened, I've been conducting meetings in the upscale conference room on the second floor. It's incredibly productive thanks to the cutting-edge technology and high-quality printing and faxing systems available to all residents. After work, I love unwinding at the fitness center, playing tennis with friends, or taking a refreshing dip in either of the two swimming pools. My favorite activity, though, is pouring wine and strolling through the gorgeously landscaped grounds, admiring the vibrant blooms and flowing water features in the two scenic ponds. It's wonderfully peaceful. Over the years, I've built rapport with the team, and they're wonderful to work with. I did have a staffing issue early on, but when I spoke with Manager Shawn about my concerns, he was incredibly responsive and helpful. Since then, that employee has been replaced with someone far better suited to the role. The staff genuinely embodies Ancredible customer care. I plan to remain here indefinitely and would enthusiastically recommend this community to anyone. My parents are even currently exploring available units for themselves!
