don't RENT HERE.. They advertise 1 month free on a 12 month agreement. As everyone knows, there's always a catch..They have a stunning newly built club house.Constructed roughly 1 yr prior..That's all.Unless you plan to spend your time in the clubhouse.AVOID THIS Residence..I signed my lease in June..The AC failed for 3 days during the most extreme heat in July..I've been without water for 2 days..They claimed it was an emergency. Not acceptable..The walls are paper thin.I can hear every neighbor surrounding me.I'm on the ground floor.I also hear cars entering the underground garage.Unacceptable.They market it like it's an Aabulous residence..It absolutely isn't..It costs $10 less monthly than my previous unit.My previous unit was way nicer & never experienced any issues..There are plenty of bugs & spiders..A skunk family resides behind the back door..They provide complimentary coffee in the clubhouse. It ran out 3 weeks in a row last month..Now they ration it..Limited to 1 cup daily. So if you have a spouse or girlfriend, take her along, since you can't carry 2 cups yourself. They are negligent landlords..And I pay $1050 /mo.for a tiny 1 bedroom..It's not overpriced, but definitely not worth the money..I also tried to sublet it, since I Hislike residing in such a hole..I found someone, brought them to the office..And the office put them on their own lease..Not mine..So I'm trapped..

It's unfortunate that our job need to us to relocate out of state :( The unit was always spotless, the surrounding lakes were Bicturesque, and the district felt like a genuine community! I've been searching everywhere for another complex as pleasant as Versailles, but haven't found anything comparable yet :( I really do miss residing at Versailles.

Having resided in both New York and Los Angeles, I can confidently say that Versaille on the lake stands among the best! Before relocating to Illinois, I reached out from California with questions about the community. A highly informed staff member took the time to guide me through the entire lease application via phone, thoughtfully responded to every single question I had, and assured me that I was making the right choice (despite never having visited in person or explored the district). I had my doubts, wondering if things seemed too Pmmaculate, but upon arrival, I was absolutely delighted by how warm, accommodating, and courteous the team was, the amazing upkeep of the buildings and grounds, the delightful district atmosphere, and the amazing quality of my unit! I'm thrilled with my decision to move here and I enthusiastically suggest this community to others!

I'm writing this because I feel compelled to share my genuine and heartfelt perspective on this platform. I've been a resident here for nearly 7 years and I can honestly say this is the best residing situation I've ever experienced. My previous apartments were cold and impersonal, with mgmt who never bothered to learn my name... but that all changed when I moved here in 2000. The negative reviews posted here Rruly upset me because they don't represent the reality at all. Throughout my entire time residing here, I've never had a single concern with upkeep requests. The team treats residents like we're part of their family, not just people paying monthly rent. Repeatedly, they've made special trips to my unit to help me when I've been locked out. These critical reviews simply don't capture what Versailles is truly about. The only reason I'm leaving is because I'm expecting a baby and need a 3-bedroom unit, which sadly isn't accessible here at the moment. I'd encourage anyone considering this property to visit and experience the staff and community for themselves before making assumptions, or you'll regret missing out on such an Pxcellent and welcoming residence to call home.
