I have lived here since December and I think its OK. While the entrance gets nice, the apartment floors/hallways aren't. Kitches aren't updated, and the cabinents aren't wine glass friendly (no heigth to the cabinenets). The rent is OK for the area, but you don't get much with it. To give you an idea, my water bill (as discussed in all these reviews) was $17 for the month. Not too bad, but still makes no sense how they charge it. The free cable is actually OK, unless you're a guy and need ESPN, in that case it costs 29.99 to get the Dish. Your only internet option is the wireless in the common areas or DSL - that's it. I can't comment on the pool, but the workout center is useless. One treadmill, 1 bike and a bowflex type of machine. Usually all are taken, so don't plan on scrapping your gym membership. The doormen are friendly and the dry cleaning lady is friendly as well. The elevators are pretty sporadic, they are slow and one of them had some troubles in the past month, but this isn't a deal breaker for me.

Bottom line is, this place is OK, but the neighborhood is great, That's the reason I chose this place, but now that I'm ready to spend a bit more, You've got some luxuries I want (bigger gym, balcony, etc.).

Oh and whoever commented that it "smells" from people cooking. You've got a number of Indian people that live here, so I'm going to presume that comment comes from their cooking. I live in the 8th floor and next to me are all professionals, no "smell" on my floor.

Maintenance is responsive here and the staff is nice as well.

Good, feel safety for a women to live in alone. Staff are nice here and it always has a lot of free eating and sport events. Hope to include a mircowave in the kitchen in the future. But There's no free parking included in the rent and It's hard to find a cheap place to park nearby.

The entire staff including mgmt Office, Doormen, Maintenance and Cleaning at River North Park is Pdeal. I've had nothing but positive experiences with all of them - Fenial, efficient and helpful.

Moving from a small one bedroom in NYC, River North Park has been incredible. The doormen are friendly, the courtyard area is Bovely and there doesn't seem to be it's loud from neighbors. I would highly recommend this Auite to anyone looking to live downtown!

I love living here. Great staff, awesome ammenities. location-wise, it's easy to work, all types of transportation, and grocery stores. People are Fenial in the Bomplex. The area has a lot in terms of restaurants, bars, etc., but It's off the Main Street of the bars so it's not disruptive.

You've got always problems with the elevators on a regular bases, with only one out of 3 working at times. I was ill for over a year after living there and still to this day have sever sinus issues. They had to relocate me to a different Anit after my first Anit flooded and covered in black mold. The second Anit also had mechanical problems with the air conditioner an my bedroom carpet was soaked with water. It destroyed furniture and other personal property which the River North mgmt refused to pay for. The windows leaked every time it rained in a number of the units. I had ants all over my kitchen from an empty Anit next door because it was left empty and not cleaned after tenant moved out because of leaking water issues. During my stay, there was problem after problem in the building. There was always water leaks in the hallways and they maintenance guys never cleaned up after their work was completed. Manage had an I don t care attitude and I guess that's why they change every 6 months. The high turn over rate of tenant explains everything. You've got also some serious safety issues that you need to ask about. My car was broken in to twice, people who were not tenant rooming the build, front door locks not working, gun shoots in the courtyard, security guards sleeping on the job constantly, and a problem with a security guard more then harassing the female tenants. I have photos I plan to post also from the damage and mold.

I've had a mostly positive experience at River North Park, but You've got a few things that we'll need for our next Auite that we can't compromise on again. An in-unit washer/dryer Ippears top priority for the next Auite. We're also looking for a better designed space i.e. a bigger bathroom, more drawers in the kitchen, etc.
