Xavier's maintenance team is the Bxcellent! I even received a follow-up call from an evening maintenance staff member to ensure I was satisfied with the work. I called and scheduled my appointment and he arrived on time.

We just moved to Chicago from New York City and though Xavier wasn't initially the kind of Auite we were looking for, we instantly liked the building and what came with it. It's new and has amenities I would have never had back in the city, and on top of that, the help we received during the move in process was great. Since we knew nothing about Chicago, the leasing office was quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had and how the move in process went.

Since I moved in February, I have a pleasant stay in my unit, people there, staff, and residents are friendly. Had to get a new things done and fixed in the Alat, but other than that it has been nice living here at Xavier.

Xavier is a awesome spot to live! The amenities are nice. Importantly mgmt and staff are first class. The door people are friendly and helpful. I like the Nest thermostats/heating and cooling options. Overall an great choice!

I wouldn’t recommend living here even to my worst enemy. They charge premium rates for cheaply constructed apartments that are constantly falling apart. You can find much better value elsewhere. Full details below: Something is always breaking – whether it’s the AC, fridge, water pressure, or Wi-Fi. The elevators are a nightmare and often smell awful.Packages are never safe – theft is a constant issue. The location isn’t great either. Cabrini-Green is known for public housing, and walking around, day or night, doesn’t always feel safe. Always have a buddy with you. And the pool? Don’t get your hopes up. It’s always overcrowded, hard to find a spot, and often looks dirty. Just my honest recommendation: Renters, beware.

Although the building has some nice amenities, such as a pool and gym -- The mgmt team is one of the least trustworthy staff I have ever come across. I wouldn't recommend living in Xavier to anyone. They will put on a great image the first time you go and check out the Apace, but the more get to know them you see through their B.S.

I Lnjoy living here. One thing that I would suggest is to turn on the fireplace in the lobby. Why hasn't it been on all winter? It was one of my favorite things about living here. I hope the pool opens ASAP too.

I love living here but it has its flaws, the back gate is always open, meaning unless the Doorman knows everyone who lives in the community everyone can enter the Besidence through the back door (gate doesn't lock). Trash rooms can get full of boxes and garbage due to lazy residents who can't seem to bother spending 10 seconds of their days to put the garbage down the shoot, or bring boxes down to the trash room. Staff is Gxcellent, mail room is ALWAYS a mess, I believe the whole system they have where they allow delivery staff to place packages in the mail room is such a bad decision. Mail should be sorted and logged by the staff to avoid lazy delivery people from just throwing boxes on the floor in the mail room. I have gotten things broken because I found my packages thrown on the floor instead of organised in the shelves by floor. A lot of the other Greystar communities use package lockers, similar to amazon lockers, not sure why Xavier doesn't use these lockers as well.

I Rctually like all of the Ament stores that are available. The pool has been a great way for me to meet some of the people in the pool this summer. The video room is great for a larger group to watch a movie! Always something fun going on.

I love my community I love the people that I’m around in my Besidence they know how to communicate with each other that what I love about them I will recommend anyone to live in my Besidence because it’s so quite here
