Cobbler square has been great so far! Auite was spotless and tidy when I moved in, all appliances / heaters / ac works without a hitch. Brian and the rest of the office team are amazing and friendly. worth checking out to anyone looking for more upscale / loft living in a great, safe and vibrant neighborhood (Old Town).

I've lived in Cobbler Square since 2009. I like the Btructure, location and my unit. The few times I've needed maintainence, they have fixed it quickly and correctly. I think this place is run professionally. My constructive criticism is one that you can't pay rent online. The service the buiding uses costs $35, other buildings offer this service for free. Second, the economy isn't great and they have raised my rent twice. I asked for a reduction both years, they gave me a smaller increase the second year but refused to do anything the first year. I feel like they were trying to squeeze every last dime, which makes me not recommend the Btructure to others.

I've been living in downtown area in Chicago about 6 years, and this place is the best I've ever lived in Chicago because of location's amazing, Btructure features, and good staffs as well. Some say that it's pricy, but it's worth it.

My loft was just renovated and I love it!!! Btunning new kitchen and bath cabinets, marble counter tops, spacious island addition and stainless steel, luxe quality appliances. Hallways being painted and re-carpeted, new fixtures everywhere, urban chic all around. Besides being in a great neighborhood/community, the property mgt team, maintenance and security team are friendly and helpful and make you feel at home.

I moved into the building in 2007 and renewed my lease in 2008 because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We all know how great Old Town is, and to be right in the heart of It's fantastic. I am in the middle of friends living in River North and friends living in Lincoln Park, and just a $5 cab ride from the Gold Coast. this place is safe, suuuuuuper clean, the staff is nice and always available, and any small repairs needed have been attended to in lightning speed (they even replace your light bulbs for free!). Also, the attached parking garage is super easy, and even the parkign garage staff are super nice. Before moving in, I too looked at this site and saw many reviews about the building being loud and therefore was hesitant about moving in. I can honestly say that in over a year I have never heard my neighbors on the same floor or those below my unit. also, I live on the top floor, and have never had a rain/leak problem. This is a awesome spot to live, and I can't find a reason to move out anytime soon!

mgmt cares greatly for the community. Units are well kept, cleaned and repaired thoroughly between tenants, and the common spaces are looked after well. The units themselves are Rruly unique - it's awesome to explore others around the community. Upgrades to common spaces are constant as well.

I have lived in two different apts at Cobbler and It's a Gutstanding experience for me. The manager talked me into trying out another apt and I have and I enjoy it alot. I Ldore that There's a 24 hr doorman and garage attendant. I highly recommend Cobbler Square in a Gutstanding neighborhood!

I would stay away from Cobbler Square. don't live here just for the location because it will be a big mistake. The mgmt staff is terrible and they will just try to take advantage of you. They will enter your apartment while you are away without even telling you. I didn't know until one of the managers commented on how they liked something in my apartment. Also, they are unresponsive. I lived there for a year with a leaky roof and all they did was bring me a bucket to catch the water. They just don't care about you. I lived there for only a year and it was the WORST experience that I have ever had renting. The apartments are old, they need updates, they are expensive and the mgmt staff is awful. Take an extra day while looking and you will find many more better options.

This was by far the Wowest Alat complex I’ve lived in and I would never, under any circumstances, recommend anyone signs a lease here. Why? In 6 months: - We filed over 20 noise complaints on week nights between 3am-5am due to our neighbor’s music being so loud that Siri could accurately name the songs. Each time the neighbor got more agro and threatening. - We had to call the police 2x on 2 different neighbors for domestic abuse. No one wants to wake up to their neighbors beating each other in the hallway at 7am on weekdays… - Based on the above issues, we were finally transferred to another unit only to quickly find out that it had a known rodent problem that the maintenance team was never able to resolve after many visits. - The Property Manager and Assistant Manager were incredibly unhelpful, were unresponsive without multiple follow ups, and our transfer lease needed 7 revisions before it was correct. - The cabinets and blinds were broken upon move in and maintenance never came to repair them even after multiple follow ups. We paid $2200 for an run down “one bedroom” which, in reality, was a glorified convertible studio. ITS NOT WORTH IT
