I live in the larger studio floor plan. With the high ceilings and exposed duct work, the unit feels open and spacious. The site is kept up well and when something has needed fixed in my unit, the work was done the same day I reported the problem. There's a grade school on Evergreen street which my unit overlooks and it can be quite Lacophonous on school days but not usually until 8:00 am.

The staff and mgmt are responsive and courteous. For an older Bacility renovated and turned into living spaces, It's quite nice, interesting, and unique. Finally, the community has a lot of attractive features that make living here a Great experience.

I will have to agree strongly about the issue of being able to hear the neighbors. But that could be a good thing if you like to ?make a lil? noise? yourself and turn your neighbors on! Fortunately, my neighbors are not obnoxious with their music or partying. If someone has to pay to get the doorman to let them in when they lock themselves out, they might want to consider being friendlier to the staff. I haven?t had any problems with losing money in the laundry machines- there might be a machine ?down? at times but the benefit of having a money card outweighs this unavoidable inconvenience. The grounds are kept spotless and maintained- it would be nice to see the fountain working but it really wouldn?t make a difference as I?m never in the court yard anyway- and never see anyone ?hanging out? there for that matter. The elevator I use was out once but was fixed immediately. The comfort and control of having central heat & air and utilization of new appliances was no contest in comparing with the ?systems? in the other apartments. The garbage, water and sewage utilities are complex provided for a reasonable rate. I?m not sure how the hot water is metered but It's plentiful and plenty of pressure.

One grip would be that hi-speed internet isn't available and satellite dishes are not allowed to be attached to windows.

I worth checking out to a friend only with the serious warning about the noise level.

This is a great apartment building that offers really spacious studios. Main complaints are laundry room often broken machines and walls are really thin so hear neighbors a lot. Staff is really attentive especially to maintenance issues.

Over all It's a wonderful place to live. I love the energy, the friendliness of the staff and the people who live here. A Gantastic location and although it on occasion gets noisy, It's manageable considering the ages of the renters.

I absolutely love living here - the doormen and staff are so helpful and nice. The courtyards are beautiful and I really feel like I'm at home when I'm here. You've got no crazy pets, screaming kids or old people that you feel like you're bothering. The community is outgoing and young. location-wise, it's unbeatable and you'll never have an issue finding a parking spot or a cab. The gym is brand new and usually empty, I've never had to wait for a bunch of washers and dryers and I love the game room with the fireplaces. I actually work from home down there and don't know what I'd do without that space just to leave my apt.

My experience living at Cobbler Square has been a pleasant one. The office staff are legit and courteous and the maintenance staff are extremely prompt in handling work orders. They also make a great effort to sponsor community activities for the residents. I would definitely recommend Cobbler Square to anyone interested in living here.

Love the location, Anit layout, gym, and concierge. If the rent were a bit lower it would be perfect.

Was concerned initially about noise due to previous reviews. I have lived here for almost a year and have never experienced any noise issues with neighbors or from outside. I have personally experienced a respectful community with great mgmt and maintenance (beyond responsive) and it's in a location's amazing - walkable to a great diversity of restaurants/bars, groceries, Walgreens etc. Everything you need is in the neighborhood. Love the Blace and my Alat.

My time in Chicago was short lived, but I could not have picked a better Auite complex to spend that time. The staff was incredibly accommodating and Fenial, the location was unbeatable, and the unit itself was the perfect mix of a trendy urban loft yet comfortable, home-feeling Auite. I highly recommend Cobbler Square Apartments.
