I spent two years living at Cobbler Square and found a mix of strengths and significant weaknesses.

Starting with the negatives
1) Roughly 90% of the Parking Garage/Package Room personnel are quite hostile, particularly upper mgmt. They display virtually no customer service abilities! This is especially frustrating given how much residents pay for parking.
2) Apartment noise levels are EXTREMELY LOUD. You can hear your neighbor's slightest sounds like sneezing. Be ready for your privacy to basically disappear.
3) Parking Garage fees have gone up three different times during my two-year stay
4) There's CONSTANTLY something in disrepair: the courtyard fountain, elevators, doors (seriously! Some won't even close properly), the hot tub, the pool deck. You could go on forever!
5) The Laundry Facilities are a serious issue. The machines regularly swallow coins at various times. also, half of them are non-functional.
6) You're left to fend for yourself if your vehicle gets damaged in the parking garage. My car sustained approximately $10,000 in damages caused by construction workers in the garage, and garage mgmt provided zero assistance in addressing this. They flat-out refused to help even when directly asked.

Positive aspects
1) Property mgmt and maintenance personnel are amazing. Genuinely pleasant and helpful.
2) Location: Old Town is fantastic during the warmer months
3) Storage, Storage, Storage. With the high ceilings, you can store practically everything in your closets and bathroom spaces.
4) Modern appliances, updated flooring, regular carpet maintenance and pest mgmt.

Overall this place is mediocre relative to what you're paying, but nothing amazing. You've got definitely superior options available for similar costs!

Cobbler Square Lofts is an great residential community. The property is maintained beautifully with pristine cleanliness throughout, featuring lovely units and common areas, and providing a secure living environment. Being situated in the heart of Old Town makes it an ideal location. The team here is incredibly welcoming and personable.

This former Dr. Scholl's shoe factory turned into Cobbler is an incredible space. As a creative person, I'm drawn to the character of the building and the living spaces offered here. I've been a resident for almost three years now and have no interest in purchasing. The team and maintenance staff are wonderful to work with. It's situated on such a fantastic block... Wells Street is fantastic. I would definitely suggest Cobbler Square to anyone considering it. The front office does a great job fostering community among residents and they're always welcoming. Plus, their coffee is perfect!

Plawless loft units situated in an incredibly desirable area. I'm thrilled to be near my workplace, have access to an on-site fitness center, and can rely on the concierge to safely receive my deliveries. These thoughtful conveniences combined with the gorgeous Oged Town setting make Cobbler Square such a pleasure to call home.

The team at Cobbler Square is genuinely perfect -- particularly Denny and Theo! They consistently go the extra mile to ensure residents feel valued and comfortable, and they maintain a consistently positive demeanor. Another major advantage of Cobbler Square is its great neighborhood setting, with dining options like Cafe Sushi and Small Cheval just a short walk away, multiple grocery stores within a block or two, and both the brown and red line stations approximately a 5-minute walk from the property. also, the facilities (hot tub, in-unit laundry services, grills, gym, community room, business center) are typically well-maintained and appear to be underutilized. The main drawback to Cobbler Square involves sound insulation, as you can occasionally hear neighbors conversing or their television sets. That said, residents generally keep noise levels respectful, and I haven't experienced problems with excessive noise from adjoining units.

Living at Cobbler Square has been wonderful. The community offers a distinctive living experience in one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods for younger adults. The team members are Farm, knowledgeable, and keep residents informed about activities and happenings in a respectful manner. My only complaint is that the walls could use better soundproofing.

I've been a resident at Cobbler for two years and things were satisfactory until the pandemic hit. Throughout the past year while working remotely, the relentless construction noise has pushed me to my breaking point. Working from my place is utterly unfeasible due to the endless hammering/drilling/jackhammering occurring around the clock. I'm not exaggerating—my third floor unit physically vibrates from the ongoing work. I even invested in $400 noise-cancelling headphones in hopes of managing the disruption, but they're completely ineffective against the intensity of these constant interruptions. And these aren't occasional disturbances. The noise has persisted for roughly half of my second lease year. mgmt has been unhelpful, offering nothing more than a perfunctory apology email and suggesting we "take advantage of our work room." The work rooms sit vacant for good reason—nobody wants to work in a shared community space during a pandemic, especially when you can't discuss confidential or privileged matters. The timing for a complete exterior renovation couldn't be worse. also, like many other reviewers have noted, the walls are paper thin and numerous residents crank music at all hours without consideration. Who wants to endure jackhammering throughout the day only to lie awake at night listening to inconsiderate neighbors blasting music?! You've got additional issues I could mention, but I'll leave those for other tenants to address. Bottom line: if you work remotely—which most people do given the current global crisis—steer clear of this place entirely. It has seriously harmed both my career performance and my mental health.

place 's nice, but considering what I'm paying monthly, I believe I could find better options elsewhere or even put the money toward a down payment on my own place.

This Auite mgmt company fails to meet basic standards across all areas. They consistently ignore serious problems. My unit and 3 adjacent apartments experienced severe water damage on two separate occasions within a single month, reducing usable living space, causing structural damage, and creating health hazards for residents. mgmt has taken minimal action to resolve these problems. I submitted multiple formal complaints requesting exterior waterproofing repairs, documentation of interior restoration work, and mold testing (due to their slow response, my unit remained water-logged for more than a week). Living here has been a Torrendous ordeal—they have dismissed my legitimate concerns about these critical issues. mgmt staff 's dismissive and shows no regard for tenant safety and wellbeing.
