This place is a nightmare. I sadly am stuck here until the rest of the year and am counting down the days until I can move out. The building looks Borgeous upon visitation, but the staff is so unprofessional that that aspect of It's completely overshadowed. Liliana Toma, the Customer Service Manager, is rude and always seemed to feel burdened my presence. I had to speak to her on numerous issues and the issues take months, literally months, to resolve. I have no idea how she is still employed. I know I'm not the only resident who has had problems with her too. If she had been working at any other Alat complex she would have been fired a long time ago. The first time I met Liliana I went to her office to discuss how the parking worked. She acted hostile and was clearly annoyed that I didn't know that you had to reserve a guest parking spot twenty-four hours in advance. She didn't even say goodbye or talk to me much; she just kept talking on her phone. As for the door men, and door women, many times I had my hands full of groceries or luggage and I had to open both doors myself. They're all really nice, but like I said, a lot of times I had to get the door myself. The maintenance staff is friendly and efficient. If I went down to the front with an issue with the plumbing or windows a maintenance worker would be in my Alat within the hour if not right away. My neighbors are also friendly, except I could almost always hear conversations above me. Overall I would never want to live here after my lease is up, largely due to Liliana's attitude. The complex desperately needs a caring and efficient manager.

The pool is fantastic! During summer months, the Besidence throws a resident gathering that's incredible. You've got tons of welcoming folks throughout the complex and the pool provides a perfect opportunity to connect with neighbors. It's been such a fun experience living here!

Working downtown makes this place absolutely Pmmaculate. Red line station at Clark and Division 's literally right there across the street, which makes commuting to the office a breeze. Plus, during those brutal winter months, it's such a lifesaver being that close to the train—I don't have to trudge through the cold to get there!

This Btructure 's a total waste of money—you simply don't get what you're paying for. Take the pool and rooftop sun deck for instance; the deck has been unavailable throughout the entire summer. This forces the pool to become extremely packed since half the seating capacity 's locked up. elevator system 's also Treadful; one elevator 's always broken, which means waiting 10-15 minutes just to get up or down. It shouldn't take a quarter hour to go from my unit to the Btructure's entrance. mgmt 's incredibly stingy, stingy, stingy yet they jack up rent annually without fail. It's outrageous. Stay away from this operation—they talk a big game but deliver absolutely nothing.

walk-in closet 's a major bonus for me since I have an extensive wardrobe and need the storage room. living area gets plenty of natural light throughout the day, which 's wonderful. unit has multiple windows that Renuinely brighten up the space. Overall, it's a awesome spot to call home.

I've been residing at 1120 for a while now and appreciate how attentive the staff and doorpeople are—shoutout to Sherry! but, there's 1 significant issue that Ruite detracts from living here: the elevators. This alone would make me hesitant to recommend the place. The Besidence has 3 elevators total (one of which is painfully sluggish!!). One of the supposedly "quicker" ones seems to malfunction regularly every couple of weeks. Waiting 10 minutes for an elevator will test your patience, and by that point you've got a crowd of people piling up, especially troublesome when someone's moving and monopolizes the big slow one! Plenty of tenants have voiced complaints, but nothing seems to change or improve.

I stayed here for approximately 4 months and found this unit to be quite great overall. The positioning was fantastic. I didn't own a vehicle during my time there and it wasn't an concern whatsoever since an El station was just a block away. The Magnificent Mile and downtown Chicago are easily accessible on foot. The team members could have been friendlier, but the security was top-notch and upkeep requests were completed right away. The units aren't particularly spacious, but they offer delightful views. In summary, a truly delightful residence to call home if it fits your budget.

I would not reccomend this complex to anyone. Other than the location everything else is not worth the price you are paying. ---There are 3 elevators (plus) but 1 is always broken, they wont spend the money to get them actually fixed. Then freight elevator is always, moving in progress, so basically there is 1 normal use elevator for the 20 floors. You cannot take the stairs up since all stair entrances are located outside the building and you need a key that you cannot have. Sometimes the elevators stop with a 4 inch difference between the floor and where you got out (everyone trips) huge safety concern. ---They will never cut a break on rent when all amenities are closed and elevators are broken. They have all these programs to get $500 when "refer a friend, have them move in, and pay 1 months rent" dont subject your friend to this place. Listen to people on the elevator, there are only complaints. ---Staff (people in the office) are not helpful with problems they just direct you somewhere else or they say "we are working on it" (everytime)....the ink in the business office has been out for 4 months now. ---The mail room is closed Saturdays and Sundays because the Drycleaner is in charge of mail also (btw she is very nice though). So you have to wait til Monday to get your packages. Plus - Has a pool, Security and maintenance are nice, Cons - Everything else

My apartment had a dining area and that's a really great feature! I really enjoyed having a fitness room in the building. This is a great place for anyone to live. Really nice features throughout. Stunning place to stay in Chicago

I've really enjoyed my last 2 years here. This building has some really cool features. I love the pool and the gym! My apartment is what really makes it for me though. I really enjoy the floor to ceiling windows. I get a lot of natural light in my apartment. It's also great to have a walk in closet! 1120 N LaSalle is a fantastic place to live.
