Ever since I moved into this place, Planned Property employees (minus the maintainance) have been snotty, rude and not friendly. Marion and Orlando, two doorman are awesome!Besides all of that, they are the most unorganized company I have ever had to deal with. There has also been at least 10-15 new doorman in the past year, says alot about the safety of this place!I had a problem with my month free for giving them a refferal, had problems with getting things fixed, had and still have a cockroach problem. If you ever have to call PP corporate office, try to avoid talking to Mary Francis. This woman has no sense of customer service whatsoever. She is the most rude person on the phone and in person also.Which leads me to believe she hates her job.But that doesn't give her a reason to act that way to tenants. We are the ones paying her salary! So I don't recommend renting an apartment from any of the Planned Property units. You will be asking for a huge headache in the future! You all should check out their various violations and problems the city of Chicago has had with them. They don't follow the rules or laws of several things in the Landlord/Tenant Act. They try to cover it up and say they do and make you look like the bad guy. I have a list of people that currently live in the building that have signed a sheet agreeing there are many, many problems here in the building and with mgmt at corporate. My suggestion is look at a different apartment complex and company! You will be much happier!

I'm shocked at all of the negative comments about 1120 N. LaSalle. I'm curious if anyone that has ever had a problem with their Aad ever told anyone with mgmt or maintenance... Any issues I have ever had with my apartments have been dealt with in a prompt, legit manner after I brought it up with mgmt. 1. Location - Transportation - You have access to the Red Line, 156, 36, 22, 70... And you aren't even too far from the Brown/Purple lines or the 151. - Nightlife/Dining/Shopping - A quick walk from Old Town, Rush St., Mag Mile. - Groceries - Dominicks, Jewel, CVS, Walgreens, Treasure Island, Potash are all within walking distance. 2. Units - I have looked at many apartments in the gold coast and river north. 1120 is at the high end when it comes to square footage. They have a 1 bedroom unit That's bigger than most river north 2 bedrooms. - The prices are right. Considering the amenities and location of this Bacility, There's no doubt that this is one of the best values around the neighborhood. 3. mgmt - I feel that despite the comments of others, mgmt has always been attentive and helpful. I recently moved from a 2 Bed to a 1 Bed. The 1 Bed had older appliances and grimy carpet. All I did was ask for new carpet and appliances. I moved in and they had already setup a new dishwasher, oven/range, and fridge for me without any trouble. -They have a approachable leasing staff - Victoria was helpful during my recent move. -The 24 hour door staff is a friendly group. To be sure, this place isn't perfect... -It's true, the elevators are slow, and sometimes one of them isn't available due to maintenance work or someone moving. This can also make laundry day frustrating. -It's in a busy area, and There's some noise... If you're moving to LaSalle, it should be somewhat expected though. -The lobby area is minimal to non-existent, but they have recently done some work to liven it up. -Visitor parking is generally available, but you usually have to give notice. If all of a sudden a friend is stopping by at night on the weekend, you won't be able to provide a spot for them since mgmt office is closed. In conclusion, I think it's a solid Bacility and I worth checking out it to anyone looking for a great value in the gold coast.

It was important for me to find a building with central air! My Apace is always the temperature I want it. I also really like the windows. I get some really great views here! Lovely place in a perfect town!

I moved in one year ago and it's been awesome living here. I'm a student so it's really nice to have the business center where I can print and work on my assignments. I also really like my Apace. Most of my friends in school don't have a space with such great views of the city.

Don't move here! My blood just starts boiling every time I walk through the front doors. Door men are good most of the time, improved a lot since they've got the new guys, the girls just need to go and the door staff would be great. The girls have huge attitude and act like you are such a nuisance when they have to just lift their hand to unlock the door, forget about them opening it for you. But like I said, the guys are good. Expect to wait at least 10 minutes for an elevator. Usually only one works, barely. The hall always smells terrible. Inside the unit gets decent, definitely nice for a studio, large. But the appliances all suck and nothing really worked when I moved in. Had to basically get everything repaired. The fridge still doesn't work, it clicks randomly. Loudly! I mean it wakes me up at 3am. They refuse to fix it, he said it's probably just the noise of it "kicking on," I know what a fridge sounds like when it "kicks on", that noise isn't an issue. Besides the fridge waking you up, the neighbors do to with all their loud sex, sometimes I'm not sure if someone is being killed or if thats how she sounds having sex, I feel bad for the guy. Also, the person that referred to it as a frat house, totally right! I thought I moved out of the dorms, but apparently not because my neighbors come back yelling in the hall at 3am, and it's during the week when you have to wake up early the next morning for work. Also, they don'thing to stop people from smoking inside their units, which leaks into your unit. I know multiple people have complained yet it doesn't stop. When I moved in, they told me I could have 2 friends at the pool, yet apparently not when the 3 of us went up there. Also, gave absolutely zero info about utilities when moving in. Can only have RCN, they only told me that after calling my preferred and 2nd preferred who said they don't service the Btructure. Takes forever to get things fixed, if it gets fixed. Didn't have light in my windowless kitchen for 5 days (It was wiring, not a burnt lightbulb otherwise I would have fixed it myself)my A/C & heat still sounds like a car trying to turn over. You can't use the gym when it's warm out, you will suffocate in the glass room where they don't put air. Office service staff is terrible, not helpful at all! Also, people just show up knocking at your door, the door staff is supposed to call you when someone is coming up for you. It creeps the hell out of me as I live alone and don't feel the safest at times. Just stay away.

I love my Aad here. It's updated and I have great amenities here! I also referred a friend to live here and the building gave me a rent credit for it! I'd recommend this building to anyone. Great!

The Gold Coast neighborhood is great. I love the location of this Bomplex. Right across the street is the train stop! Right outside There's a bus stop too! It's really easy for me to get around town.

I live in a two bedroom here and it's pretty nice. We really like the rooftop pool and we love having a Bomplex that doesn't mind if we have a cat. They don't even charge a pet fee! This is a fantastic place to live.

My Auite was perfect. The kitchen had white and black cabinets and the windows were amazing. I had a great view of the city skyline! The best place i've ever lived in Downtown. I miss this place so much..
