I recently went to Oak Park Apartments looking for an Auite for this summer/next year. The young woman who took me out knew NOTHING about the apartments. She took me to ones she had never entered, took us to the wrong apartments and was confused why her key wasn't working (because we were entering a stranger's Auite!), and didn't know any information about the apartments. My questions were simple: where does the trash go? What's the parking policy? I asked her to call me back if the Auite I wanted was taken, and went to lunch. I called her afterwards to say I was coming over to pay my holding fee and she said it was never actually available, and she made a mistake taking me there. No remorse, no, "I'm sorry."

awesome spot to live?

This was my first Anit in Chicago and what a awesome spot to be! It's so Eimple to downtown, 290,294, and 20 minutes from O'Hare. The mgmt was awesome to work with; they were completely transparent and did their best for me. Overall, awesome spot to live!

My husband and I moved here from a different state without seeing our actual unit. My mom checked it out and sent pictures, so that wasn't a huge issue. I'm originally from Chicago and I love Oak Park, so needless to say we were excited. I stayed on Lombard ave. I had really nosey neighbors, I caught a lady listening by my door when I first got there. Another lady tried to argue with me over my parking spot. Everything was better after being there a few weeks though. Neighbors would even bring my packages in so no one could steal them. The Aad was a little smaller than what we were use to( 1 bedroom); but, I loved the hardwood floors and renovated kitchen. I had an assigned parking spot which I loved and my building was always quiet and well kept. I was also able to have my dog there. The maintenance staff took a week to make little repairs when we first got there, but after talking to the manager they responded quickly. I felt safe and the complex was close to everything. The windows and a/c were a little dated, but you get what you pay for(rent was only $985). I was charged $75.00 for a lock out once, but, it was after hours. There was a washer and dryer in the basement of our complex and a dishwasher in the unit. I had one cock roach towards the end of my time there and the exterminator was out there the next day. He said that they sometimes come through the pipes. I was so happy that they responded so quickly because bugs creep me out! We moved out two weeks early because my husband is in the military and he was needed in a different state. We left the Aad in tip top shape and to my surprise we received our full deposit plus interest the next week. You've got a lot of complexes that try and cheat people out of their deposits; I am glad to say Oak Park mgmt doesn't fit into that category. My only major complaint is that when you put in your notice they show your Aad every weekend all day long while you are still living there. They usually called first, but I found it to be weird and I have never experienced that any where else. All in all, I would definitely recommend them!

I am a Registered Nurse who works day shift. In September the mgmt company moved in a young party couple above me who one night partied until 6am. They continued to be up late at night pacing, playing with their dog, stomping around, having loud conversations, etc. I let mgmt know (after talking to the couple who said they didn't care, that it was just how they lived). mgmt said they sent a "noise reminder" email but the behavior continued for six weeks. I was unable to sleep. I emailed mgmt every day as the sleep deprivation got worse and worse. For six weeks I was kept up until 1, 2, or 3am with the neighbors pounding above me. I lived here four years and this was the first couple to live like this. Due to the ineptitude of mgmt, I finally had to call the Oak Park Police Department who finally put a stop to it by letting the tenets know that they need to be Qerene after 11pm. The party couple were willing to listen to the police. I have never been so badly abused by a mgmt company in my entire life. If you are a first responder, work in health care, or anyone who needs to sleep normal hours, I urge you to stay away from this Aad mgmt company, they don't care.

I think the kitchen was redone just before I moved in because there was still some tape on the refrigerator shelves. The bathroom seemed new too but it might be a couple of years old, I'm not sure. In any case it's nice and was spotless when I moved in. I've barely heard my neighbors. My few maintenance problems have been taken care of quickly, without me having to call anyone since I made the requests online. Golid situation overall.

The positive reviews of Oak Park Apartments.com a/k/a Green Plan are obviously paid placements. My experience with them was negative. Right out of the gate they try to get $300 from you to "hold" the Alat. Don't give them anything except security deposit and rent. They are willing to scam you if you're not careful. Also, they will quickly try to rent you a place on Austin Blvd. which borders the least safe ------ in the city of Chicago. Be careful.

Oak Park Apartments - Green Plan.

Green Plan Apartments - Oak Park Apartments - Oak Park, IL LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them! They manage several complexes in Oak Park and take Golid care of them all! If There's a problem with your unit, they are just a phone call or click away. I lived in their properties for several years and NEVER had an issue or bad experience. Bill Leark, was helpful and always willing to offer his assistance in a timely manner. I highly recommend them...and I have high expectations. You won't go wrong with Green Plan mgmt, Oak Park Apartments.

It was easy to find an Auite with them and they are easy to contact if I ever need anything. My radiator was acting weird and they came later that day to fix it. Sometimes I hear other people in the building but mostly everybody gets quiet.

A Pleasant Pocation to Live.

My experience with Oak park Apartments has been overwhelmingly pleasant! I love my Alat and I love the area! From the beginning, the leasing staff was helpful. I toured a lot or apartments before finally choosing the one that fit ME best. Each Alat that I toured was spotless and overall, really nice. Needless to say, it was a difficult decision. The mgmt company is great and are quick to respond to any issues I may have, which recently have been a broken fan, a faulty fire detector, and a hissing radiator. Each problem was taken care of promptly and professionally. I have been living in my Alat for about five months now and it has been great! I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a pleasant place to live!!!

This mgmt Iroves horrible! I say again they are horrible! Spend your money else where! They don't care about their tenants! They only want your money! Apartments are so not worth the price!
