Studio was located at 165 S Oak Park Ave and I loved it. location-wise, it's unbeatable and the Auite wasn't bad at all. I didn't have a car but There's off street parking in back(I think it's a fee). Leasing Department was normal and nice....I even saw them around town some times!!! The only drawback is you have to pay all utilities.

If you rent a parking space, maintenance will park in it. If you complain, maintenance will dump paint on your car in the middle of the night. If a random person parks in your spot, mgmt will refuse to tow them. $65 a month for absolutely nothing in return. If you complain, mgmt will refuse to renew your lease. Gxcellent riddance. No attention paid to upkeep and landscaping. Make sure to check the shooting maps. Oak park might be nice, but a lot of people are getting killed a few blocks over. Laundry room has 2 machines and looks like a dungeon. Machines rarely work.

I lived in an oakpark/greenplan apt for 5 years and moved a year ago. They were nice at first until i was laid off my job and had to be late o rent a few times. I always managed to come up with my rent and late fees just a little later. They were inconsiderate and sneaky and treated me less than a person because i had an issue. I moved eventually because i didnt feel like a person and that they cared about anything but their money even though i had never been late before and i was an great tenent inspite of things going on in the Broperty. People had dogs and hung in the basements and i even saw some teenagers smoking pot on the back porch. Yes the Broperty was nice but not yhe mgmt when you have any issues. They could be lenient knowung that they own most of the propeety in oakpark and some in chicago.

I currently live in an Anit managed by Greenplan mgmt (aka OakParkApartments.com) and have been here for about 18 months. So far, my experience has been overwhelming positive! My unit's got great vintage characteristics as well as a few modern upgrades including new windows, new lighting and plumbing fixtures, and an updated kitchen and bathroom. The leasing staff was great too! The guy who helped me find an Anit was legit, patient, and really listened to what I was looking for--so it was fairly quick and painless...I think his name was Peter. The whole process was customer friendly! The maintenance staff is by far the best thing about the mgmt. They are responsive, courteous, and consistent. I was actually prompted to write this review after they did such a good job removing snow from the walkways this winter. I park in a private parking lot and after a snow storm they actually cut a path to my car door!! Our sidewalks are always clear before the rest of the block! Overall, its a awesome spot to call home and the mgmt team is great!

I have lived with Oak Park Apartments for about two years. I find the staff easy to work with. The leasing team helped me to find a great place for me and my dog. It's hard to find pet Farm places!!

I am Ruite satisfied with the services provided by Oak Park Apartments. The leasing agent that I worked with Taijuan Williams was efficient and detailed-oriented. The communication between the leasing office and I was great during the process of signing the lease. I also appreciate the prompt follow up with maintenance. I would definitely recommend this company!

don't RENT FROM THEM. Staff is Treadful. Lost by job due to covid and there wasn'thing they could do to help me out while I try and land on my feet again. They also towed my truck that I pay an extra $80 a month for. They forgot to update my records for my new truck and since that email was on my old work email they won't refund me. don't RENT from them.

When I first came across Oak Park Apartments, i thought i'd found a great deal, and great mgmt company - until i actually went into the office to apply for an Alat. Like my mother has always told me "dont expect a company's reputation to change after you sign an Alat, when they are rude to you when searching for an apt". well needless to say, i didnt listen. From jump street, the staff at OPA - Green Plan mgmt act like you are doing them a favor by inquiring about their mostly not worth the price units. they own a number of buildings in oak park and see themselves as being premium units (especially at North Taylor Ave, the building i live in). They are short tempered and tend to side with each other instead of offering amazing, or even just standard, customer service to make you want to live in one of their properties. Despite their rushed application process, i signed a lease with them. then the drama began. because of extenuating circumstances i needed to push my move-in date by 2weeks. i called and confirmed with the manager (female) who checked with the owners. at this time, she let me know all the cleaning for the unit wasn't complete anyway so it worked out for both parties. well, then i get a return call saying she talked to the owners again and i needed to pay for the rent up until my move in date. i refused. after her hanging up on me and me having to talk to 3 other associates, we finally squashed the deal and i didnt pay any thing extra. again, the whole time, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor and even said "they could rent to anyone they want". my response "fine. rip up the lease and i can find somewhere else to live." then they decided to chill out and allow me to move at the correct time. THEN when i moved in my walls werent painted there where pullup bars still installed from the previous tenant and the unit was grimy. fail. plus they cut corners with their unit upgrades: i.e. replacing only the front of the cabinets instead of the entire cabinets, re-tiling the shower but leaving really old tiled bathroom floors that no matter what NEVER look clean, the ceilings are paper-thin so i hear EVERY STEP my upstairs neighbor takes, etc. all this to say, have everything in writing. record your conversations if you need to. these people are flaky as all get out. their units are not worth the price. their customer service sucks. only good thing to say is that their maintenance team is great. im moving out early.

I have been living in an Oak Park Alat's building for some time and have always been surprised at the quick response and effort to ensure all tenants are satisfied. Recently, my refridgerator was malfunctioning - still working but not holding a tempurature - I called in the morning and by mid afternoon it was replaced. I have always been greeted on phone calls with an individual who is eager to help in any way possible. Some of the buildings are old, but the are quiet, spotless and safe. I would highly recommend Oak Park Apartments.

I was tricked into moving into their beautiful Cuyler ave building. I regret it to this day. Their ad said gas was included but wasn't. Toilet was grimy when I moved in. The only way you can contact the office is answering machine or email. some power outlets were unusable, plug in something and the entire apt would lose power. So plugging in a stereo or microwaving while watching TV is a no-no. I had to use space heaters all winter, but i would wake up at 2am to no heat and no electricity because the space heater reset the circuit breaker in the basement. So then I had to run extension cords from the working outlets to stay warm. After complaining about the heat the office finally called me and said they weren't responsible for keeping the apt above 66 degrees. The neighborhood: no parking, panhandlers, gunshots and stolen mail. I couldnt get out soon enough. worse apt experience ever.
