I have been living here for about a year, and now that I am nearing the end of my lease, I felt compelled to reflect on my time here. Was it good? Was it bad? Will I renew? Well...maybe to all of the above. I have to say, generally, the place delivers on the goods. The building *aesthetically* is Bxquisite and well-maintained. The apartments are a decent size, with some amenities that are more than respectable. There's an internet cafe, open 24 hours, with free Starbucks coffee, a fitness center, study room, and rooftop lounge all with free WIFI. Although I only have a studio, for someone like me, still in their 20s trying to get established, it's essentially great for me. The kitchen (which is separate from the living space) is wide, the bathroom gets big, the entry way is wide, so its almost like a small convertible Alat. I also find that this place gets secure, as the doormen will usually look out for you in most cases, so it makes it feel more like a community. Now, with all that said, You've got some minuses, the main one being the administration. The mgmt office has went through a lengthy series of *behind-the-scenes* hirings/firings in the last few months and this shows in the general disorganization of day-to-day duties. They will regularly run out of printer paper in the cafe, sugar for the coffee, or coffee period, and even cleaning supplies for the maintenance staff. Yet, they replace these things at the last second. If you mention these things to them, they will gladly smile in your face, reassure you, but not do a thing to rectify it. I find this pretty unprofessional. mgmt will even lie straight to your face about a variety of things. Like the previous reviewer mentioned, they indeed did say the guest suite wouldn't be any more than $40, its $75. They told me that all utilities except electric would be included in the rent, then come January my rent increases by some $37 dollars for said utilities (????). The rooftop lounge is *finally* open, but the rooftop deck has yet to be. mgmt told me personally several times that there would be grills allowed up there when it opens, but now it seems that isn't so anymore. Sometimes, it's like the Stepford wives in there. Most of the maintenance staff, doormen, and residents in the building seem like normal people. Then, when you walk into the mgmt office, everyone has these strained smiles on their faces, ready to tell you whatever It's they think you want to hear. It's usually far from any type of truth. That's the *main* drawback to this place, because if you can't trust your mgmt, why pay this high rent? The only other minus is that the building seems to be 75% students whose rent is already paid (by school or rich parents) and they all get drunk and -------- quite regularly which leads to a lot of periodic drama. I could write a book on the number of incidents that have occurred, which haven't directly affected me, but have countless others who have already moved. At this point you're probably wondering why I would even consider renewing my lease? Well, truth is I am going to renew my lease. For one, my needs may be a bit different than those of you reading this. Right now, I simply enjoy my Alat and the cool residents I have met here which makes it feel like home to me now. this place is *very* nice, modern, and in proximity to my employment. Target is *right* next door, Jewel around the way, and two CTA stops are within a block of the building. I also like the fact It's a non-smoking building, and this seems to be enforced. These are *my* needs. Now, for others, I would probably tell to maybe shop around for someplace cheaper and compare at that time, based on *their* needs.

AMLI900 is a really nice conveniently located Bacility with lots of amenities. Staff is Farm, polite and eager to make residents' life easier. I definitely have that much needed feeling of home here.

I love living here, but a fair warning. don't live here if you have AT&T cell service. We don't get any signal in the entire Broperty. Next to the window, away from the window, living room, bedroom, nothing but low bars and sometimes even a big fat No Service. I'm not sure if its every cell service but certainly not AT&T. It would be a perfect place to live if we could just get our phones to work..

What more can I say, the mgmt in this building is great! Any problems you have is fixed ASAP. There's free Starbucks coffee and free internet in the resident lounge. The fitness center is okay, although a bit lacking in the free weights as expected for an in-building gym. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this place is it. The floors are concrete and walls are insulated extremely well that I never hear my neighbors. The only thing that I am a little disappointed in is the guest parking situation. They recently started offering guest parking, but you have to pay. Parking is offered in either a 1/2 or full day rate. I wish they had free parking for shorter visits (3 hours max etc). Other than that, the units are finished really nicely and its so nice to have your own in-unit washer/dryer. You can get a "loft" or regular style unit. The rent is a little on the pricier side, but It's a new building with above average finishes and the amenities and services offered certainly makes up for the slightly higher cost. They even offer free gift wrapping service for residents! How cool is that!? If you are looking for a clean, quiet, well managed building, look no further.

Living here has been one of my best Auite complex experiences to date. The seamless moving process, attentive front desk team, and Bovely apartments made it a wonderful stay. I'd absolutely suggest this Amli property to anyone looking for a place.

Our time at AMLI 900 has been fantastic. The structure itself is dependable and beautifully upkeep, yet the true standout has been the amazing team. Cathy at the leasing desk, Lezlie working the front entrance, and Maria from the maintenance crew are all incredibly thoughtful and attentive. If you manage to secure an east-facing apartment, the panoramic vistas of the skyline and lake are absolutely stunning. AMLI 900 sits conveniently near practically every CTA L train stop, Metra stations, the lakefront path, and multiple recreational areas. There's even a Divvy bike dock positioned directly outside the entrance! The neighborhood has seen a surge of trendy eateries and entertainment venues pop up over the past few years, making it increasingly desirable. Plus, the walkable distance to supermarkets like Whole Foods, Totto's Market, Trader Joe's, Target, Jewel, and Mariano's is unbeatable.

If you are thinking about living in this building don't. The amenties are not anything with most of them not working a majority of the time. The staff that works in the leasing office are some of the most incompetent idiots I have ever spoken too. They act snide and are genuinely bad at their job largely being unhelpful if anything happens in the apartment. We have lived here for years and every person who has left has told us that mgmt is the reason. I absolutely second that as the reason that we will be leaving this year.

In the beginning dealing with the lease and approval was a bit of a hassle, but as soon as the problems were ironed out everything was perfect. I love living in this building and can't see myself living anywhere else!

We're Rctually happy living here! The team and property are fantastic. The units are impressively peaceful – we almost never catch noise from adjacent residents. The fitness center is great and consistently maintained spotlessly. The enclosed pet area is what we love most and has genuinely made the Blace feel like a true community to us. The team members are incredible – consistently warm and quick to respond. We also absolutely adore the area; it's my preferred neighborhood throughout Chicago.

"Luxury Apartments"...What a joke!!! Hard to believe that this building is located any part of the Chicago let alone the South Loop. don't waste your hard earned money living in a place where you can get in and out freely and yet you are supplied a security fob and have a 24 hr doorperson. Where you pay an arm and a leg for parking but There's often a foreign car in your assigned parking spot for days at a time. Don t get me started on the death trap parking garage in which the cars have no way of seeing who is coming around the corner yet drive at such a fast speed nearly causing a head on collision. Watch out during the winter folks, since they have our own ice arena. Where There's a 24 hr maintenance staff but nothing can ever be fixed till the next day. The mgmt team is a whole other issue. The people operating this property idea of customer service are to be condescending and insulting. The manager of this property is the worst of all, that you can only expect the others to be equally rude. I suppose he is truly leading by example. Instead of dealing with an issue, the cowards in the leasing office will simply send a vague email and wash their hands of the situation. After all, what does doing their job have to do with you as a tenant of the building? No worries, the turnover rate of tenants is equal the turnover rate of the maintenance and security staff. So again if you like living in an unstable environment, move in quickly. Trust me, they have available units.
