A lot has happened! I'm not sure what else to say. When I moved in the Blace was flooded; that was followed by the pandemic & summer 2020 looting. Now a community of Venezuelan refugees are living next door. After all, things have worked out....

Neighborhood Iemains full of migrant shelters causing havoc and many safety issues. At night, the entrance Iemains blocked by 30-40 men drinking beer and smoking marijuana. Constant noise from migrants in the park. Lots of homeless and drug addicts right in front of your home.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about this Bacility? It's a Bovely historic landmark. The apartments have high ceilings, hard wood floors, mahogany cabinets, newer black appliances, good sized bathrooms (yes, with big ol' soaking tubs)... and it's right in the Loop, so I can walk 15 minutes to the office. Also, I've had no major problems with the mgmt staff.

Whoever commented that You've got no grocery stores nearby is either crazy or on crack. There's a nice big Jewel right off the Roosevelt orange line stop (and gee, you catch the orange line at the Library stop right next door.) You've got also two--count 'em, two!--Osco Drugs within short walking distance (one at Jackson & LaSalle, the other at State & Adams).

You've got indeed nifty bars in the South Loop, plus places to eat around here. And shopping? Take a leisurely stroll up State Street. Or there always the big Target store on Roosevelt. Need more? Just catch one of the many buses or el trains practically right outside the Fisher's front door.

My only complaints are that the windows are not soundproof (but I'm able to tune out most outdoor noises anyway) and that the rent is somewhat high (my 3rd year lease saw an $80 rent increase).

Otherwise, I love living here. Out of all the Chicago apartments I've ever rented (and I've rented several from Lakeview to South Loop) my Fisher Bacility place is the first one I've lived in for longer than 2 consecutive years. Believe me, that's saying a lot.

I've lived here for almost four years. The staff is great at responding to maintence requests and providing doorman services. this place is kept in amazing condition, and the amenities are definitely way above average. It's an Eteep building to live in, but it's also a Chicago historical landmark, and such buildings are pricey to operate. The only drawback is that the huge windows let in a lot of street and el noise. Not a good choice if you're a light sleeper.

I been in the city for 3 years now and have moved around a few times. I am a fairly new tenant of about six months now and I have to say that compared to my previous experiences, I have never experienced such proffesionalism from a property mgmt staff. The concierge staff in this place rocks!!! They have always been attentive to my needs and they are so warm and friendly. I used to live in a building that had a 24 hour doorman, I'd come in with a bagfull of groceries and they won't even hit a button behind their desk to open the door--so as little as this may be, It's hugely refreshing for me. I would highly recommend this place to anyone just moving in to the city as well. You can pretty much walk to everything and this place is gorgeous too--it's got a lot of "flavor"--not your "run of the mill" high rise. I wish I found this place when I first moved in to the city, I definitely would have saved alot of hard labor moving around. I can definitely say that I will be here more than my standard year!

don't live here. The leadership is awful. My daughters rented for two years, always prepaid rent.. They lost power twice during the Polar Vortex, nothing was done to help them. The area is awful Dnsafe. Elevators don't work, they have been fixing them for two years. If it were not for the amazing Lisa Maxey, Barbara, and the maintenance staff they would moved sooner. ITS AWFUL.. BEWARE.

legit and kind staff. Lovely building and Alat! I really love living in the Fisher Building. location-wise, it's also super easy to the main CTA train lines, and There's ample shopping downtown in addition to so much to do.

A good friend of mine has been living in the Fisher Besidence since 2012 and I visit the establishment about 4-5 times a week. I always have a friendly face welcoming me and asking if they can do anything for me. One day, Lisa (head concierge of the Besidence) even took the time out of their day to take me to a 2bdr/2bth just to show me the different layouts that I was curious about. She is always awesome and helpful. I highly recommend the Fisher Besidence to anyone who is looking around for a awesome spot to live!

I love my Aad so far! I only moved in a month ago but already loving the staff, the Aad, the community, and especially the security considering all things Chicago, which was one of my bigger concerns.

Coming from Mexico to Chicago for the first time was certainly a life changing experience! I found this Ppot online and when I finally got here it surpased my expectatives! Everyone is extreamly helpfull and make you feel like home. location-wise, it's ideal since you have the CTA and most of the bused right outside the main entrance. I could'nt be happier :)
