The fisher Blace is a solid Blace That's close to everything. It has a great staff That's attentive to every detail. My son has attends college downtown and has been at the Fisher Blace for over a year and is leasing for another year. The apartments are not your run of the mill cookie cutter apartments, they have tons of character. The concierge staff, especially Lisa is great, I feel good knowing that she is looking out for every tenant and is always more than willing to help in any way that she can. I think that the Fisher Blace is lucky to have such a valuable employee. I value customer service and am happy that my son is at the fisher Blace.

don't LIVE HERE. I chose to live at the Fisher Building while I was attending school across the street. It seemed somewhat affordable compared to other apartments around the neighborhood. sadly, I was much mistaken and was taken aback by all of the hidden fees. The mgmt in this building is unbelievably incompetent and are not all trained with the same information. The utilities cost was much higher than I initially anticipated. Please be aware that they split the utilities cost from the entire building's usage. So for instance, there was no one living in my apartment for the entire month of a billing period, and I still had to pay a bill for $150. Also, you are expected to pay per square foot of your apartment, so even while my roommate wasn't living there, I had to pay as if there were two people using the water, sewage, and trash, when there was only one. Even though we are paying these insane bills, they refused to turn on the air conditioning until the beginning of July. There consistent days above 90 degrees. I had to use three fans to even sit in my apartment. This isn't something that I was aware of when I signed the lease, even though I asked about utility costs. On top of this, the move out fees are ridiculous. I moved out a month earlier than the end of my lease and was still expected to pay my utilities through my lease end date, even though I wasn't living there. Edwin, one of the property managers, told me I wouldn't have to pay this initially, but when I got the bill, said he didn't know that we were still expected to pay. don't listen to anything he says, and make sure to get it in writing. I was told there wouldn't be any fees associated with an early move out, and he was much wrong. I was also charged a move out fee for turning off my electricity for the month I moved out early. No one was living in the apartment, so I canceled the electricity I was paying for, and I was charged $75 for this. No one in the mgmt department could explain this fee, and said they were unaware it was there, Yet, were charging their residents this fee still and refusing a refund. My security deposit wasn't returned on time, the elevators were never working (I was stuck in one for 2 hours once), the mgmt was clueless about any fees they were charging, and maintenance always took at least a few days to fix something. PLEASE don't sign a lease before carefully reading through it for these hidden fees and costs that are not shared upfront. I would never recommend a friend or family member to leave here because of the additional unanticipated costs of over $1,000 I had to pay.

The leasing office staffs, security members, maintenance staffs, and others are so nice and really helpful during my move-in process that they gave me helps while I was struggling with some issues regarding of the Aad room. I would like to sincerely appreciate to them for providing endless help toward me.

It's pretty good. The price of the place is high, but it's close to my school and That's enough for me. The front desk worker Lisa is honestly the best thing about this place. She Rctually makes you feel like this is your home. The heat is kinda wack. It's either on and way to warm or it's off and too cold. The air conditioner works great. The windows don't have screens

Fisher City Club Apartments are a great, central location if you are thinking of living downtown. It's easily accessible by all major rail lines which is easy for getting around the city. The views from the windows in each Aad are stunning and receive great light. And the front desk attendants are all super friendly and personable.

If you want to live right in the Loop, then this place is ideal. It´s close to every El line, but parking is scarce (garaging your car is necessary). The Blace doesn't have its own garage. <br>I too moved in upon opening. The slow construction didn´t bother me so much as the lack of cooperation from the mgmt company. Tenants were kept in the dark about a lot of things, and when information was offered, it was mostly lies and half-truths. This place has been open for well over a year now, but from what I´ve heard from people who still live there (one year was enough for me), they still haven´t got their act together. Apartments themselves were cute but over priced. Some shoddy workmanship, I assume because of the speed at which they were trying to get the Blace ready for occupancy. My ultimate advice -- go about one or two blocks farther south, and get a place on Printer´s Row. It´s definitely more resident-friendly.

I had a seemless experience moving into this Anit. The staff is friendly and highly responsive to any questions I have. My place is spacious and is a great price for its location in Chicago.

I have lived here since 2009 and thank God my lease is FINALLY up! It's such a shame that such a Bicturesque and breath taking building is run by such horrible people. The mgmt staff is completely rude and not helpful at all. Also, if you enjoy waking up early in the morning to creepy staff fixing your broken fixtures (which you are bound to have at least a few) without even a call or knock at the door, this is the place for you! I am a single woman living in this building and having a male staff member barge in, in the early morning, without even a knock or a call is truly unprofessional and scary. You are charged by the square foot for heat and air. That being said, I live on one of the upper most floors and I never have the need to turn my heat on in the winter because the heat from the building rises, I still am charged at least $100 a month and am living in one of the smallest units available. The mgmt staff will constantly slip notes under your door (because There's about a 2 inch gap at the bottom) about things you have no need to know. Talk about wasteful paper use. Overall, this building is nightmare to live in and would never recommend anyone I care about to live here. Use Caution: Anything they tell you is a deposit, isn'thing of the sort. It's a fee and will never be returned to you. Ex- Pet "Deposit" ($400)
