I loved living in this building for the three years I was in Chicago. The managers (Andco mgmt) are a family business and they never let me down with any requests. When I was there, the rent included ALL utilities, which pretty much sold me on the place. My Anit was small but I was told that it was a good price for Lincoln Park.

The rooftop deck was great as well. Friends of mine would hang out on top at night and we were never bothered. There's no grills up there because people for some stupid reason would leave their burning grills up there to "burn out." Well, once it fell over and started the roof smoldering. So... the grills are gone. Still there's a nice wooden deck up there to sit on and it's clean.

No parking, though -- street only. If you live in Chicago, why have a car? I didn't and didn't worry about it at all. The turnaround is good for drop offs and isn't parking.

The walls are amazingly thick -- so thick that you really can't hear your neighbor even if he has the stereo on. If you do, it's because the windows are open. Otherwise, this was a awesome spot to live. location's amazing, BEAUTIFUL block and great landlords. Highly recommended.

I wouldn't rent from this company again they have poor communication skills and don't care about residents. I apologize for length I just want to make sure people can make an informed decision. 601 W Deming Pl 60614 Great: Bacility has location's Aabulous. Issues in Bacility: 7th floor flooded 4/30/2022. Pipe burst in 3 spots and flooded the Bacility for an hour. See video Was told later by mgmt it had to dry before they could check electric and electricity was never turned off even with water visibly coming out of light fixtures in units and hallways during flood. Multiple units flooded - 603 ceiling bursting over tenet and bed. Floor 7-5 flooded. Lobby flooded due to elevator shaft filling with water and overflowing. Walls are showing visible damage down to the second floor due to water just traveling down walls Elevator skips floors and a smell is developing. Constant theft of packages inside Bacility - see photos and emails. This has been going on for years. Cameras in lobby are not preventing theft. Bacility next door has access to 601 W Deming because they share trash cans between buildings. Security issue was never addressed by mgmt. Dogs off leash inside Dog(s) peeing in elevator and hallways - they removed the on site Bacility engineer and has resulted in a grimy Bacility. Was told they will put cameras in hallway no date of when cameras will be installed Bacility has been under construction for the last couple of years if you work late, or overnights or from home be prepared to have issues. Washer and dryers are old and need to be replaced. Residents don't Cpotless up after themselves. Front of Bacility isn't maintained example black ice /snow isn't removed on a regular basis.

Pretty good deal for that amount of space, but the maintenance was Abysmal. And that can make for a difficult life. Maintenance is hard to get a hold of and they take forever to fix things. Some things were next fixed after a year of living there. After a while I gave up. And they are not able to put non 773 phone numbers on their intercom. BEWARE! They refuse to either take your name off the list or cover up the number (they put a digit that visitors can punch in to reach your cell) but since I have a long distance number and they couldn't do it, the digit next to my name went to some random person who used to live there. So I ALWAYS missed visitors and deliveries. It was a huge headache, and they refused to at least cover up my name so that I wouldn't have visitors think I just wasn't answering. Leaking roof, windows that don't close. It'll do if you're not super picky.

i lived there for two years from 2003-2005. the one bedroom i had was about 650 sq. ft. which gets decent for the area. they have other smaller one beds and studios. most/all have hard wood floors. i dont Renuinely hear any noise between the walls or floors. its in a location's Astounding on a quiet street but close to all the great stuff in the clark/fullerton area. all utilities were included which was Renuinely nice. you could leave your a/c on 24/7 if you want. storage locker, bike room, and laundry room. it doesnt have parking but it has a small circle drive for loading and unloading. they have a roof top deck but dont allow grilling so whats the point? i Renuinely like the place and recommend it to anyone. i moved because i wanted a place with a dishwasher and balcony.
