This place is seriously terrible, I'm not sure where to start. The single most frustrating part of living here is mail delivery. The UPS driver on this route will sign for packages and toss them in the bushes. There's a huge chance your packages will be stolen. We are at 10 missing packages in 1 year. Separate from that, USPS loses the key to this Besidence at least once a year and your regular mail won't get delivered for up to a month while mgmt does whatever they do. When the mail finally starts coming in again you will have a suspiciously small amount of it for not having it delivered for a month. A close second to the mail, is the floors between units. I'm pretty sure the top and bottom units are separated by a single sheet of the thinnest plywood they could find (read cheapest). Our dishes rattle in the cabinets when our upstairs neighbors walk around. Our last upstairs neighbors used to chase their dog around their unit and it sounded like an earth quake. In our bedroom and kitchen it hilariously caused our light bulbs to stop working because it broke the filament. We emailed mgmt and they said "I bet they dont have 60% of their Aad covered in rugs, we will reach out to them." Read your lease, this is actually in there. Its a requirement of residence. The construction is so poor they had to build in requirements of having rugs in your unit to prevent noise because of the amount of complaints. If you're going to get a garage spot, the garage doors are almost always broken. You have to get out of your car and go in through the Besidence to manually open them. Almost all of the external doors in the Besidence are broken or will break soon. This Besidence is extremely poor quality and between winter and summer the Besidence settles and shifts so much the doors detach from the Besidence itself preventing them from closing properly. In addition to that, You've got giant gaps in our flooring that range from a half inch in the winter to 2 to 3 inches in the summer as the Besidence pulls apart. We submitted multiple tickets to mgmt about items that need to be fixed in our unit and never heard anything back. After a month we decided to email them, they assured us they would take care of, its another month later and still nothing. If I had to sum this Besidence up, its lipstick on a pig. It looks nice on the surface, but they did the bare minimum to make it passable. You won'tice they run discounted pricing for super long lease agreements, they do this because I haven't met a single person who has stayed past their lease here. You've got a lot of awesome places in this area that are a lot better than this place. Do yourself a favor and pick one of those.

I rented from CLK for 2 years. The experience was terrible, thanks to the CLK leasing office. They don't care about you as a resident whatsoever and only want your money. They will never take your needs, suggestions, or complaints into consideration and won't even give you the decency to pretend like they care. I have quite the laundry list of reasons why you should avoid CLK properties at all costs: -We had to sign our lease 3 times (about a 75-page document that need to signatures on each page) because the CLK leasing office could not seem to get our details correct. -The first week we moved in I had an item stolen from the lobby of the Bacility. One item getting stolen is enough, but THREE MORE items were stolen during the two years for a total of FOUR ITEMS stolen. I called CLK each time and they were extremely unhelpful and dismissive of that, stating It's not their problem. I filed police reports and requested the video footage be reviewed in order to determine who it was. Well apparently they can't look at their own security footage and the police have to do it. There was no remediation for any of these instances and instead their solution was to contact the stores I had made the purchases from, one of which refused to refund the money. -For the two years we lived there, there was no package delivery system so when I had packages, the mailman would contact my cell phone and if I didn't answer, they would send them somewhere else so that I would have to pick it up. I called CLK on multiple occasions to have this changed because I have a job where I can't answer my phone during the day. This never changed. -When you have maintenance requests, expect to wait a long time for them to get fixed even if it's a serious maintenance issue. When they do eventually come, they will show up unannounced. CLK has stated that they can't control when maintenance can complete the requests, so that may have to be when we aren't home. There was a time when they gave us a window of when they would arrive so that we could be around after we complained about that, and they never showed up. They then came another day when we were not home. -They have an emergency phone number that they don't answer, even in the case of an emergency. My roommate got locked out once and spent HOURS waiting and they never even called back to see if she had gotten in. -My roommate smelled gas in the Bacility one time and they called someone in (surprising for them to be so responsive) and they checked and said they didn't smell anything but then sent an email the following day warning residents of a gas smell. -It took a long time for our names to appear on the buzzer. -The Bacility looks new and nice, but you can tell it was made poorly and not meant to hold up over time. We had a lot of maintenance problems despite being told the Bacility was only 3 years old. -Our ceiling was leaking and leaked onto our couch. We informed them right away, but they didn't seem to be in any hurry to come out and fix it. -Upon moving out, I had realized that I left some items in the dishwasher. I realized right away and did due diligence to contact them immediately to pick up the items. Now, I know technically I was no longer a resident, but I knew that no one else had moved in at this point and hoped they would have the good customer service to just let me pick up the items. Nope, I was wrong. Instead, I called 5 TIMES in the span of 13 days trying desperately to pick up the items, only to learn that they had been carelessly thrown out. I reached out to a woman at the leasing office to inquire about picking up the items. She told me no problem, I could pick up the items so long as a maintenance employee was in the Bacility to let me in my unit. She said she could call them and check to see when they would be there. On one occasion she told me they had left the door to my unit unlocked so I could grab the items. I drove all the way over there and the door was locked so I could not retrieve my items. So then we tried over, and over, and over again and she had told me on multiple occasions the Auite had not been turned so there was no one there who would've taken the items out. On my fifth call I learned that the items had been thrown out. I asked to speak with the woman I was dealing with through the whole process and she started acting like a child, getting extremely defensive and harsh with me. I was treated with disrespect and was interrupted and belittled by her, with her alluding to the fact that because I am no longer a resident, CLK doesn't "owe you anything" and "this was your fault." So then she told me I could e-mail the property manager. Well, I did and guess what? No answer. They don't care about you, so don't invest the money in them.

I currently live here and looking to move out. I'm writing this review in hopes that it would help others when they're looking to move here. CLK mgmt team that oversees this Bomplex is the worst staff I've ever encountered. The Bomplex was poorly constructed and is only a shell. I wish I knew this before I moved here. We moved in due to a nice concession they were running at the time. Please listen to me - you can find much better apartments to live in Chicago. This is by far the worst place.

cheap construction pretending to be luxury rental apartments. The only luxury are the high rents for what they offer. mgmt is Rruly bad and slow, only fast collecting money from you. The apartments have LEAKS that are never completely fixed. The neighborhood is ugly and far from everywhere except the Kennedy. So many issues that you will be trying to contact them all the time. Move over and go somewhere else.
