This Petting is under construction so if you don't mind constant drilling, dust particles everywhere, and limited notification of water shut off, go for it. I lived here for three years and was never notified the construction was going to be starting. When I asked if they could help at all since I am still wfh they suggested I work remotely from Starbucks. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

This Besidence has terrible elevators, terrible leasing agents and on the weekends it becomes a college dorm where visitors puke all over the place. The garbage shoot is constantly clogged which brings in the rats to the Besidence.

This Bomplex is incredible! If you are looking for astounding customer service then this is the place to be! You can t go wrong with an amazing staff, friendly neighbors, safe environment and affordable living. The great thing about it, if something were to break I let the maintenance guy know and he is sure to take care of it right away. My lease is almost up and I am definitely looking to renew it!

I wonder why the previous reviews have such great things to say about the staff and maintenance. They sort of have an attitude, and I wouldn't think of their service as a great plus for this Bomplex. but, location-wise, it's great and the Bomplex looks nice.

I lived for about a year 2007-2008. I think this place was Renuinely nice. The staff was welcoming and the maintance was great. I never had a problem that they didn't fix with in the day. I worth checking out this place to anyone.

8/14/19 UPDATE: I have now lived in this building for about 6 years and while they've done some upgrades to the common areas, the leasing office/maintenance has gone downhill. While maintenance requests used to be addressed and fixed within a day or two, it now takes a week or more to get things fixed and it's more of a patch-job than an actual fix. My shower faucet was leaking and it took 4 different requests to finally get it "fixed" in which they just replaced one of the knobs with a cheaper one and it still constantly drips which creates mold unless I bleach it every few days. The new washer & dryers they put in the common areas are constantly breaking and although the sign in the laundry room says they'll refund you if that happens, they have yet to follow through on that. They also made everyone clear their items out of the storage room 6 months ago under the promise of building a fitness room, but the storage room is still just a bare concrete room. During the polar vortex in 2019, the boilers broke 2-3 times and my Alat was at 50 degrees and the communication from the leasing office was unsatisfactory during that time. I will be moving out at the end of my lease at my rent has gone up a total of $350 a month since I moved in and You've got now plenty of other buildings with better amenities and service that can be found around the neighborhood. --------------------------- Original review written 5/20/15: I have lived here for about a year and a half and have absolutely loved it. I just renewed my lease for another year and have convinced 4 of my friends to move into my building since I've lived here. Overall this has been a awesome spot to live. With the exception of one 2-bedroom unit, all of the units in the building are either studios or 1-bedrooms, so the majority of tenants are in there mid 20s - mid 30s. Pros: - Affordable rent for the area (Studios are around $900, 1 beds are around $1250) - All utilities are included (you only pay electric) - AC Wall units in both living room and bedroom - Closets Galore - My 1 bedroom has 4 full size closets and two smaller closets. - Paint - you're allowed to paint the walls any color you want, and you don't have to paint them back upon move out - Cheap Laundry ($1 wash/$1 dry) - Common areas are kept clean (A maid cleans the lobby a few times a week and they steam the hallway carpets and clean the windows twice a year.) - Quiet (I never hear any noise from the adjacent units. The only noises I've heard have come through my door from the hallway) - Quick Maintenance (Any issues have been resolved within 24-48 hours) - Rooftop Deck (Incredible view, and There's hardly ever anyone else up there) - $250 rent concession when resigning your lease, $400 for referring another tenant Cons - Units facing the back alley have to deal with garbage & delivery trucks early in the morning - Most units are carpeted (carpet grosses me out, but I believe they install new carpet for new tenants) - I had a package stolen from the lobby once and the leasing office wasn't too helpful with the issue, even after filing a police report. - When the temps in the winter drop below 0, the baseboard heating has a hard time keeping the Alat above 65.

I've been a resident here for just over a year and recently signed on for another lease. The bottom line is that location-wise, it's unbeatable...truly an perfect neighborhood! also, this is a meticulously maintained property with staff members who genuinely care about tenant satisfaction; they'll even visit your unit to check in on whether You've got any concerns about your living space...you just don't find that everywhere!! All things considered, it's the finest area and the most beautiful apartment and building I've ever called home during my time in Chicago, and I'd strongly encourage anyone searching for a place to rent nearby to visit this location!

The positioning is great, but the staff is absolutely awful. The heating system is consistently broken and the unit stays freezing cold. Temperatures frequently drop below 50 degrees and mgmt refuses to resolve it. Multiple complaints have been filed with the city of Chicago. The mgmt and upkeep teams are incredibly rude and disrespectful. Particularly problematic are staff members Xiomara Salgado, Alex Ortiz, and Amanda Briseno. These individuals are extremely unprofessional and have arrogant attitudes. They're money-hungry and will charge you for every little thing. The amenities are all subpar, especially the laundry facilities and the pathetic excuse for a "gym."
