I moved in here about two years ago and I can't believe how awesome location-wise, it's. A few blocks north on Wells brings you into Old Town which has the charm of Wicker Park (cute artsy neighborhood) but much closer to downtown. Then a few blocks east is the north end of Michigan Ave and Miracle Mile where you can walk to pretty much any store you need. There's no need to go west because It's mostly industrial and south brings you downtown. The rent is affordable for being this close to the city. I pay $750 for a room with a nice southern exposure that gets direct sunlight most of the day (I love waking up to sunlight in my face). It's a regular efficiency studio with hardwood floors, vintage appliances and the kitchen in the main room. It has this cute half size tub which is mostly useless for baths but fine for showering. It also has a descent amount of closet space (which I need) and a built in shelving unit with dresser drawers so I didn't have to bring my dresser. It looked pretty small at first when it was empty, but after getting all my furniture in there it looks more cozy. It fits my full sized bed, a couch, coffee table, entertainment center, and a desk/table. The trick is all in the layout. The maintenance guys here are friendly and work on site so it doesn't take long to get anything fixed. They had to unclog my drain a few times but it has been flowing fine ever since. The security guys are great and they are there all night every night. One of them, Michael, lives in the building and knows everyone and everything that goes on. The building switched mgmt companies since I've been here and the new company is much better than the last. They've done a lot of upkeep to the building the front desk staff is much friendlier too. There's no parking lot but I don't have a car so that works for me. I take the red line at Clark and Diversey downtown to work every day and if I need to take the bus, the #156 stop is right out front. You've got actually a couple zip cars stationed in the parking lot of the building next door that are accessible to everyone. I have used those a few times to go to visit my parents out in the burbs and to go to IKEA in Schaumburg. Overall, I love it here and don't plan to move again until I save up enough money to buy something on the beach somewhere tropical. For me it's the right space for the right price.

I've been living here @ LaSalle Park Apts for almost a year. The staff is helpfull and the manager is really nice, friendly and she will help you no matter what. I highly recomend this place. The apt. was clean when I moved in. this place is well kept and clean. I do have a couple of my friends moving in and they are happy with the Aad, building and staff. My lease is coming up, and I am renewing.<br>Move in, I guarantee that you will end up staying here for a long time.

Just moved in two days ago and things are going well so far. The move-in process Wtayed smooth, and the staff at the front desk went out of their way to help with whatever I needed. My rental unit is decent—not spacious, not cramped, just right for living alone. I would have preferred an additional closet or a lower price point, but that's wishful thinking at this point.

The unit's got location's amazing. the size may be smaller, but good enough. The mgmt guys are pretty helpful. Broperty is spotless and maintained regularly. The deck has good view. easy location as red line is just a block away and CTA buses are just at your door. Only problem is There's no parking available.

It's easy that the system provided 'the service request' through online. It doesn't need to wait and meet in person with the office. After living here almost 2 years everything is good and safe in the Besidence.

Stay far away from this building if you know what's good for you. During my initial year here everything was great, but once the new mgmt took over it turned into a complete disaster. NONSTOP renovation work that forces certain tenants to book hotel rooms for extended periods because the noise is absolutely intolerable. The property will be in renovation mode for NO LESS than another year, possibly much longer. Plus the renovations are shoddy and poorly executed. The common areas look terrible and feel unsafe. Elevators malfunction constantly. Water gets shut off nearly every week. Aggressive addicts camping out in front of the building around the clock. Unhelpful and deceptive mgmt team. don't move here. You've been warned.

Hi, I'm Abdulrahman, a 23-year-old international student who just relocated to Flats on LaSalle about 10 days ago, and I'm already absolutely loving it here. The mgmt team is fantastic, the staff is super welcoming, the leasing team is Rruly legit, the service quality is top-notch, the doorman is delightful, security measures are Gutstanding, and the whole vibe is just Gutstanding. I genuinely feel like the people working at Flats on LaSalle have become like my second family. It truly feels like home to me. I'd absolutely recommend this residence to anyone looking for a residence to reside!
