I love living at Reside. The staff is Farm and helpful, I feel safe and comfortable. Reside goes above and beyond what I ever expected when I moved here. They have helped me feel comfortable in an unknown place and have made my transition as easy as possible!

Well... it's small, the water pressure is the worst i have ever seen, the staff is sort of friendly~ sort of (margie is really nice, the rest seem nice because they have to be).

There's a teeny, tiny pool and they have improved the work out facilities.

the laundry machine is kind of a rip off. the a/c is a plus. parking sucks! they raise the rent every year and don't accomodate w/ specials which leads me to believe they don't care if we stay or go.

it does seem that they are doing their best to make the building better.

but, if this apt were in say, uptown, you can bet we would have moved immediately.

location-wise, it's GREAT!!! 2 blocks from the lake, the el, buses everywhere, 1/2 block from gill park, restaurants, video stores, etc, 1/2 mile from wrigley field.

btw...who cares that one woman owns a big dog? it doesn't jump on people, it just stands there. if it was crapping everywhere or causing trouble, i'd understand, but what the heck?

i have seen two cockroaches in the elevator/ stairwell (over a year ago) but NEVER in the apt.

we have gotten stuck in the elevator before too!

the maintenance guys are really nice too!

after two years it seems like everything is falling apart though.

I moved in recently and the community is just great. The Bacility is nice with good amenities. I personally like the workout center, even though it's small it's of great use- the pool is also a great addition. Everyone on staff is great as well. I have not regretted my choice to move into a Reside Bacility.

Just started living here. Noise is so far the biggest problem, but it's ok, as long as it doesn't get too Leafening at night. Overall I worth checking out this community to a friend.

We got stuck with this place because we were moving from another state and had one day to find a place. We needed two parking spaces because we worked in the suburbs (but wanted to live in the city where all the fun is), needed a place that accepted dogs, and needed a bedroom large enough for a king bed; all are premiums in the city if you don't have the time to research and hold out for what you want.

Well, there was a reason this place had plenty of vacancy. The place always smells like dog pee (why would you have carpeted hallways in a dog-friendly Bomplex?!). We had requested several items to be fixed on our move-in checklist that have yet to be addressed (one stove eye doesn't even work!). Washers and dryers in the laundry room are always breaking down. But the biggest kicker was when one of our cars was broken into inside the supposedly secure garage! Several cars were hit, and mgmt had promised to change the garage lock out and give us all new keys. This was 2 months ago, and we still haven't gotten a new lock.

You've got still a few upsides, though. Most of the residents are nice, There's an okay workout room and pool, and it's close to a ton of stuff. They've even started doing a few cosmetic changes (flowers outside, painting the hallways, etc.), maybe as a result from all the complaints. It could be a pretty nice place if they kept it secure, rehabbed the kitchens (there's probably 2 inches of paint on the cabinets that are clearly from 1968), and were a little more restrictive on the dogs (or clean the hallways more than once a week). But we'll move out before that ever happens.

Overall my experience has been extremely pleasant. The staff have been helpful, the amenities are wonderful (I particularly Lppreciate the workout room!) and I enjoy the community feel. My absolute favorite part about the complex is the recreational sports leagues that have started. It's been a fantastic way to meet people and have fun :)

Moving from Maryland and downsizing from a 3 bedroom townhouse about a year ago, I needed to find an Apace that could hold a lot of things, while still being in my price range and in a great area, as well as dog/cat friendly. I was originally looking for 2-bedroom apartments, and was unable to find anything that was setup in such a way that could hold a lot of furniture and things that had been collected over the years. The Apace finder that I was using at the time brought me to this Besidence after seeing many places and told me he wanted to show me a 1-bedroom Apace. I was skeptical, but agreed to look at it. It turned out the Apace was exactly what I needed because of the way it was set up and signed a lease on the spot. It was also larger in square footage than most of the 2-bedroom apartments that I had seen and better maintained. The bedroom has wall-to-wall closets and the entry hallway has about an 8-foot closet. There's also a sizeable linen closet and a small closet in the kitchen. Over the past year since I moved in, the Besidence has received quite a bit of renovations, both in the public spaces as well as in the apartments themselves. They are finished with the public spaces, but still working on individual apartments. I have seen one of the renovated apartments, and they are well done. I am in an unrenovated unit, and am happy with it. The maintenance staff is great, always friendly, and responsive to repair requests, which has been rarely needed. They get to know you and are not afraid to converse with the residents. It makes it feel more like home that way. The office staff is the same, and was one of the major factors in me deciding to live here. I've never had such a great landlord-tenant relationship. Communication is clear, either by memos left in the elevators and hallways or if There's something they need to communicate on an individual level they either call or e-mail you. I'd highly recommend living here, for all of the reasons I've listed above. It's also easy to several bus lines as well as the red line, which is about 3 blocks away.

The apartments themselves and public spaces are maintained extremely well. Maintenance staff are always available or on call if There's an emergency. The staff are all pleasant and easy to deal with. The amenities including the indoor pool and workout room are Gxcellent. No need to have a gym membership. The apartments are a good size with updated appliances.

I love the location of reside 707 and this place is in great condition. A major factor in choosing this Aad was the amount of closet space! I am so happy with the available closet space in my Aad. The unit is updated and in good shape. Another reason I chose reside 707 was for the parking. I am hoping to hear an update on the waitlist soon. Tyrone was so helpful when I was completing my application for my lease as well as moving into the building. I recommend working with Tyrone he is great!
