Decent building but has room for improvement in some areas.

The Apace they offered me was a mess. Nothing was actually replaced from the last resident that moved out, and it was a handful of things wrong with it. I worth checking out turning it down it's not worth it. The least you could do it see the Apace before you sign the lease (like me) and be one the lucky ones that's not stuck with it.

THIS Bacility IS TERRIBLE TO LIVE IN. It's A PROJECT Bacility! It's ROACH INFESTED THE ELEVATORS DON'T WORK. YOU HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE DRUG DEALERS THAT ROAM THE Bacility URINATING IN THE HALLS AND STAIRWELLS. THE SECURITY That's SUPPOSE TO PROTECT THE TENANTS ARE SLEEPING WITH THEM!THERE REALLY IS NO STRUCTURE THE MANAGMENT isn't DEALING WITH THE PROBLEMS THAT this place is FACING, THEIR ONLY ISSUE IS IF YOU OWE THEM MONEY. this place is FULL OF LOW-INCOME BABY MOMMAS WITH LOTS OF CHILDREN THAT BRING THE Bacility DOWN.

If you want to experience what It's like to live in a mental hospital or insane asylum, live here. There's a resident in the south tower with a mental issue that screams obscenities at all times of the day, starting at 5:30am, often for hours at a time. It's Laucous and echoes off the buildings and down the block, disturbing the entire neighborhood. I've complained to mgmt but nothing is ever done. This has been going on for months.

Corrupt as hell. From crooked maintenance people taking bribes and security peroms sexually harassing female tenants and guests to property mgmt people exorting tenants in what they described as " fees" for everything from garbage disposal, security issues, or having maintenance fix something in the aparments this place is far from a decent place to live. Infiltrated with drug addicts, drug dealers and prostitutes. So bad that under cover police were discovered as planted as security officers in thee Btructure. Shortly after this several of the drug dealers and users got arrested and put out. Not worth it.

I was concerned at first about this Alat complex due to the rumors and negative review left here at this site. But for the affordability and location, I was willing to take the gamble. And I can honestly say, I do enjoy living here. The mgmt has been friendly, helpful, and responsive. And the maintenance and security crew has been as well. The only minor issues I had on a couple of occasions were children being a bit too loud in the next Alat or hallway, but those were minor issues. Other than that, it's been surprisingly quiet for such a large complex. When I first arrived here, the first thing I looked for was cleanliness. And thankfully, when I first walked into the building, I noticed right away this is a well kept place. And when I first arrived to see my Alat, it was ready and in move in condition. I was pleased! So I call this place a hidden gem because of it's affordability, cleanliness, and location's amazing (near the park and lake)...And add to this the 24 hour security guards and friendly neighbors...I can't help but call this a hidden gem.

Lakeview Tower Apartments has an attractive exterior, but the units inside require significant repairs. The building suffers from cleanliness problems and a roach problem, while maintenance refuses to address urgent issues that need immediate attention. Residents feel intimidated and avoid voicing concerns because of how mgmt and the tenant association operate. The mgmt director is dismissive toward tenants, ignoring them when passing by, and similarly the tenant association president shows the same lack of respect. The tenant association president only assists people from his own background and ignores other residents in need. This community would benefit from unity and mutual support rather than divisions based on personal judgments.
