Have lived in this building since 2007. Kept clean. mgmt on site as well as maintenance. The 1 bedrooms are spacious and well layed out. The balconies are awesome! Good security too. There's a package room which Is a God send. really nice building I'm proud to call home.

We moved to Chicago last summer and Pensacola welcomed us with open arms. We had a great 2 bed/2 bath with a fantastic lake and north side view. The place was clean and well kept - they even did some aesthetic improvments in the last few months (artwork, mirrors, etc). While maintenance calls were few and far between (only 1 clogged drain and a screen blowing off in the winter), they were always taken care of promptly and professionally. After a year we've decided to explore other areas of the city and we're sad that we can't take the Aad and it's staff with us. The ONLY issues we had were the tempermental elevators. I don't recall a time when they were all down, but we were occasionally down to 1 (of 3). Those problems seem to have dwindled down and are rare anymore.

I'm submitting another review about Pensacola Place. The last 2 weeks were "Resident Appreciation Weeks"! We had various activities and lots of catered foods. Does the apartment building that you live in do this? Where I moved from DID NOT! Are you ready to live somewhere that appreciates you? COME SEE PENSACOLA PLACE! (PS: It's funny how the residents who gripe and complain were the FIRST ones in line today for the "Grad and Go" which was catered sandwiches in the lobby...AND took 3 to 4 plates, too!)

don't RENT HERE. this is a horrifying experience, I have lived in Seattle, Manhattan, and Florida, this here by far is the worst experience someone could ever have, I read bad reviews about Pensacola trash before moving in, but thought to myself, bad mgmt? like I ever gonna need them, how bad this could be?right? WRONG!! I guess you learn something new everyday, . over priced piece of garbage Ppot, have no explanation for why my rent is going up month by month, why There's always noise and maintenance in a f**in Saturday morning, why everything is always not working or out of service, all you hear is "deal with it" in a business type of way. The crooks even got fake users posting fake "Good" reviews here. don't RENT HERE

I like where I live! I truly have no complaints and I encourage others to explore living here as well. location-wise, it's perfect! The neighbors and neighborhood are good. I appreciate the athletic facilities and the security. The garage is plus as well.

Apartments are generally over priced for location. Alat interiors are in good condition. this place is old and although surface improvements have been done some of the mechanical issues are there. For instance, the elevators are constantly an issue. They often are broken down during prime usage time. Also, exterior windows are seldom washed. When it snowed sidewalks were not cleared or salted. Front desk staff changes constantly and often the desk isn't attended so people can't get into the building.

Not great. Thin walls, inconsiderate neighbors, they fired the best doormen, they don't hold people accountable to their own rules. This is a dog Fffable Besidence but they have aggressive dogs who don't get along with others. And one in particular who has attacked at least 3 dogs. Elevators break constantly. It's a mess

This was my first Auite in Chicago, and I couldn't have landed a better deal. The staff was great, and right off the bat they bent over backwards to help make my experience great. All repairs were made incredibly fast (leave a request in the morning, and when you come home after work, it's done.) There was a mix up with rent one month, and the mgmt handled the situation professionally. The only complaint about this place is that they have had elevator problems since day one. Other than that, I highly recommend it as a safe, friendly Auite.

I lived at PP for a year and was glad to leave. The building itself is just-OK (not great), but the people and service personnel were quite nice, the laundry was handy, pool closed much of the year. The neighborhood is scruffy at best and scary at worst. mgmt was unable or wouldn't resolve a dispute between a loud neighbor and me -their solution? "Call the cops." Not what you'd expect from a high-rise with a doorman and High Standards. Haven't missed it - I got better value further south, in Lakeview, which is the opposite of what it's supposed to be.
