DR JEKYLL MR HYDE mgmt. THIS IS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. Ive only been here 1year and I've been able to get in the pool 4 times because its always closed or its green from too many chemicals in it and when I asked the RUDE bleached head manager patty for some type of explanation she immediately told me if i don't like it I CAN LEAVE so "I'M LEAVING". Also I asked j ames cooli (the guard ) why are all of the other guards leaving and he said one guard (a nthony szawica) was arrested months ago for stalking a female resident and attempting to harm her or enter her unit with the office spare keys or some sort . I wasn't shocked because I've always found him a bit creepy and sneaky said the others were temps and went to other property but as we were chatting i had to ask him was he drunk because he reeked of alcohol but he just nodded and put his head down so that was my cue to walk away. I'm a really nice person and I m not racist but Every time i would pick up my packages or check my mail( E ric little) (the fat black guard) always talking about someone Else's business, complaining about the manager (p atty) and how much he hate the maintenance workers because she kicked the security guards out of the party room on the 3rd floor and put them in the storage closet with no TV. Somedays i just wanna scream "SHUT THE HECK UP" i just wanna go up to my Auite and rest. He always stare at the pool camera monitor while women are tanning but i could only imagine what hes really looking at . I wish i had read all the different reviews before i moved here but I'm taking this opportunity to warn others. Although all my neighbors were nice and mysteriously one of them committed suicide while (A nthony szawica the guard) was on duty and one that played the guitar all night long .http://articles.chicagotribune.com/keyword/balcony szawica shouldn't have been allowed on the premesis after the first incidents it's a good thing he's gone and can't harm anymore residents. I'm so happy to be moving out Saturday. I wouldn't recommend this building to anyone. PENSACOLA PLACE IS A HORRIBLE SCAM, THEIR ONLY NICE UNTIL YOU SIGN THE LEASE!

I'm happy!!! It's beautiful and clean!!! Staff is really nice, location!!! Supermarket right behind the building! Pool, gym , laundry facilities clean with vending machine! Lots of closet space in the apartment!

Love living here. Great mgmt, maintenance and concierge, location is solid. Residents are friendly. The ammenities are wonderful, clean laudry facilites and well equipped fitness center. Public space is inviting and well decorated. easy to have a garage parking available as well.

The Bacility and its' amenities speak for themselves. Great neighborhood, great price and value (there was a promo running for 1 month free rent). No move in fee or security deposit. I worth checking out.

Doorman are often not available. People enter without keys creating a security risk. People with dogs often are in the passenger elevator when they are supposed to enter using the service elevator. Building is kept neat and clean. Maintenance requests are prompt and things are taken care of in a timely manner.

I have only been here a short amount of time. I have found that the Montrose lacks any kind of security. Last week Tuesday there was such a commotion by the pool area..... young people were gathered and drinking alcohol and smoking. Note none of these individuals look old enough to drink alcohol. The next day, Wednesday there was another huge party with loud music and people screaming and yelling into the middle of the night. On Thursday, I heard screams coming from one of the Alat balconies. Apparently a resident was robbed and was locked out and trapped on their balcony. How can this happen....people can just walk right into the building without being announced? Is there any security in the building? Does anyone check the common areas to ensure the safety of the residents? It appears that There's only chaos in this building. Does security check to see if the individuals utilizing the amenities are in fact residents and or guests of residents? This is totally unacceptable!

I was Hleased until about six months ago. New neighbors, lots of noise from Aad and in common areas. Music is so loud at times I can't sit in my living room. I work 40 to 60 hrs per week. When I come home I don't want these disruptions.

This Is a really nice place to live, all the staf is kind. There's clean around in the Besidence, nice fitness center and a good pool areal. The areal around the aperment is nice, There's a lot of good bar's and restaurants.

The staff is friendly, they are always offering a smile or helping hand. The place is Bxquisite and updated. The closet space is wonderful. The amenities are amazing! We love the gym, pool, storage and also the lounge areas

Encomplicated reach to downtown and local shops. Staff are helpful.
