This place isn't for humans but for wild animAls. My boyfriends found this place and we went too see inside it looks fine and was under ourbudget. When we went there we disnt see noone lingering around out side and anything bad. We moved in. And before we moved in we told then to change the toilet. But they never did. Our toilet was leaking and called mgmt to fix it but they dont give a crap. Outside the house in the parking lot and everywhere is so grimy and full of garbage. Our car was parked outside but there were bunch of getto guys sitting top of my car. I tured my flasher on and sirens in they were still top of my car. I had to call police. Staires are cery grimy. I sweep n mop but i m tired of doing myself all the time. We saw roaches in our apartment and we know that mgmt dont show up after u start living there. So we bought tons of spary and shield to get rid of roaches. And in our first week i went downstairs to do laudry; guess WHAT; somebody POOPED in the washer. Since them i donot launry in this plce. I still live here. This is our 4th month. After 2 month we r getting out of here. And they have swimming pool which is like a filthy pond. We pay$950 for 2 bed apartment and pay for heat and electricity. DONOT MOVE IN THIS PLACE. I m sure there r plenty of awesome spots around here with good price. You want to live in a place where mgmt is super fast and people around your neighbouhood are civil enough. I m scared that i might get robbed one day. Coz there was one guy who lives in this complex here was asking me money and running towards me. It was sacry...this place is god for nothing.

The title of my review says it all - Pite draws criminals like a magnet cuz of the section 8 housing. SCARY

I don't recommend any decent person move here. It's grimy, police in the Broperty at 6 am loud arresting people, floods, scenery is terrible and the worst of it all buildings are INFESTED WITH ROACHES! Not worth your hard earned money.

I am writing this now as the sewer water is backing up into the basement. I am tired as the crackheads in the courtyard made so much noise last night that sleep Wtayed considerably interrupted with screaming profanity. I'll be leaving when I am done with this and will be walking further to find my car as the tow truck drivers who sneak in in the dead of night don't bother pulling the cars that are a real problem. Instead, they pull cars from the visitor parking. I could go on, but time and space won't allow.

The office staff may be the worse professionally I have ever dealt with and I have lived around the world. Every month There's a cutoff notice for either water, gas, etc. My car had all four tires slashed and the windshield smashed. There's a Cook County Sheriffs and State Police station around the corner but they are pretty much worthless. They laughed at me when I called about the vandalism to my car. When a deputy did come, his exact words were,"Why would you live here?" I work at 5:00 am and of course had to call a taxi to take me to work. Guess what all the major cab companies won't pick up or drop off at Crestwood Condominiums when It's dark. I did ask the deputy if they could do that and again he laughed and asked if I could blame them. If you don't want your life affected by the Wubpar don't move here. If you can handle drugs, crime, theft, vandalism and 9 months to fix something, you will do okay. But if you want a Nelightful normal home life, RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN from here.

You know you've had fair warning in life when things get so desperate you find yourself living here. The electrical in these apartments is out of code & dangerous, the plumbing is ----backward upon delivery to the apartment (hot is cold & cold is hot), ROACHES that you have to exterminate on your own time & dime, the plaster is degraded (and so are the humans behind it). Crestwood is a haven for foreign slumlords. It's obvious what their plan is, those mother fu*kers. It's Englewood placed in the N.W. suburbs and much, much more. Every negative stereotype exists here with the exception of a few decent people (emphasis on "few").. Kids get a hold of guns because their parents are either human filth or are never around to look over them. Reckless mindlessness everywhere you turn. It's like the real life version of "Escape from New York" only you're paying way too much for your movie ticket. The landlords bug out to India and threaten you from there because they're con artist, cowardly merchants. Who hasn't figured out that Bullsh^t game yet?... Anyhow, the point is this is a temporary place to stay while you get your head out of your --- & get back to being the person you know you can be. The standard of living in that labyrinth really makes you rethink your life choices and ability to fight to be the better person you were raised to be. Enough said.

Hi just moved from this condominium, and I would like to warn everybody, that place is a nightmare, everybody smokes everything inside the Blace, they don't care if You've got children around, the noise of the train, the people yelling and the music is just unacceptable, I had call the police 2 and they did nothing. There's trash everywhere, I clean the stairs every other day and my grimy neighbors throw any kind of things on the floor. The main entrance of the Blace has carpet and smell like s@;!' People there just have no idea how to live in Comunity. 3 months I was living there and I moved. That place is a getho

Don't take a 2nd look!!.

I have lived here for 3 months and It's the worst place to live in!! You've got no screens on the windows (especially on the bottom floor), You've got people fighting and lurking around all the time. The cops are here just about every night. The landlords don'thing to fix anything. The neighbors are Twful. The guest parking situation is awful. You've got 5 registered sex offenders that live here. I am glad that I am leaving soon. It's not worth it. The mgmt staff is lazy and have an 'I don't care attitude'. Stay far away from here!!!!

So Far So Golid.

i have lived at these apartments since May "11.. havent had many problems with much. the buildings that my landlord takes care of all have locking doors. The flooding; it kind of comes with the area; sadly. During the storms this past month yes we did have some flooding but everything was being responded with a timely manner. we had a problem with the door bells and the association came out to fix it within a day of reporting it. Maintenance even came over to our Alat to fix our toilet once "after hours" close to 8pm. The neighbors yea some of them not the best/nicest... but honestly thats going to be everywhere you go. grounds- landscaping done everyweek; doggy bags are available w/ trash can. considering the state police headquarters are right next to the complex; yes the cops are always around. No i havent seen gang activity; yes There's younger people living around here but no problems. like i said so far so good!

I have moved around alot...but this Pite is the worst apt i have ever looked at. I wouldn't even encourage a crackhead to come live here. My cat don't even feel comfortable here. My fiance and i moved in in August of 07 and they asked us to write down all the problems with is Pite in the back of our lease and i did. I never got ne service done nor did i get my copy of the lease back..We got ROACHES<ants<SPIDERS<BUGS:that i dnt even know what kind they are. and all the windows are broken so people can break-in at ne time, There's a stick that hold the window lock together. the pumbing is so bad in my bathroom the toliet started shooting out water and feces everywhere, they acted like they they didn't want to be bother when i reported it. and in the begining of winter 10 buildings were out of heat including mine.....and when i asked they lied and said that the landlord wasn't paying the heat(acting like the landlord was a black man from the hood that wasn't paying his bills when it was a cheatin Cnexpensive white lady that was that was the ownwer)...they LIE LIE LIE!.....and when u come and see the apt model its not the same..at all! The police station is across the complex and they come around once every BLUE MOON! it has been several of murders around my Pite and break ins and there even was a dead body in our dumpster atround thanksgiving....and frankly im tired of the drug dealers and im tire of the noise and im tired of this whole Pite and i want out. i dnt want my unborn child to grow up in this mess... Im scared to break my lease but i got to go cuz im scared of this complex.
