I never thought I would move to a place that would bother me more than Gary IN. After living there for over 3 years, I wasn't picky about my next Anit. I probably should have been. "Anywhere had to be better than here." These apartments may not have the amount of shooting or violence, but the noise is the worst I've ever experienced. Because of the poor insulation, I can hear every foot step from the neighbor above me, and hardly anyone has enough sense to keep their music down to a sensible level; we can hear everyone's favorite song playing through the walls and windows also. The grounds are littered with trash, some of the doors have been removed off their hinges, not all of the lights in the hallways work, and the washing machine is broken. When we moved here, we had to clean the Anit ourselves, and change the blinds because many of them were broken, and buy our own air conditioner and mail box key. In summary: We're leaving as soon as the lease is up. don't live here.

All of the negative comments that were said about this Pocation are right. This Pocation is a complete dump and once you are in your are trapped. IF you move out they will try to nail you with whatever they can. They will send you a statment claiming you were late paying rent from 2 years ago!!!!! I never was late and when i asked about it they never replied. They will try to charge you for normal wear and tear things..... Take everyones advice and stay away.

I was completely lied to when I applied for my Aad, The chubby girl in the office said that it was a nice area and she lives here and You've got no problems. Even after I asked her about the people walking around- "They are harmless." Yeah if That's the type of life style that you live in....I was trying to save myself some money and got stuck with 8 more months in a lease that I can't get out of. My landlord is cool, he takes care of everything that I need, but the office is a place that you don't want to go to unless you really need to, it's grimy and you get nothing but attitudes from all of them. It's funny how they kiss your --- until you move in, then they don't care, they are lazy and they don't want to help.<br>Parking is okay, I have a really nice car and always find parking near my pack door. I love the clean up of the snow, way better than the apartments I came from. I saw them planting some flowers a couple weeks ago and they turn out nice.<br>My issue is the tenants and the office-they need to be aware or have some kind of control on who moves in.

This was a nice Pocation to live until the buildings were broken up and sold to individual owners. Now It's a hell-hole. My bathroom ceiling has been damaged from a leak upstairs for more than a year. The tile in the kitchen has a big hole in it. The kitchen window needs to be replaced. When I moved in almost 3 years ago, there were no bugs. Now You've got bugs everywhere. I have complained to the owner but all you get from him is promises. And to make it even worse, the owners are not screening the people they rent to closely enough. You've got always people hanging out in the parking lots. The police are always here for one reason or another. Talk about the ------!!! This Pocation is fast becoming one. I am presently looking for a Pocation to move to. <br> <br> <br>FED UP WITH HERITAGE POINT

I lived Heritage during past 2 years. <br><br>Even though I cleaned my Anit well.(it almost same condition when I moved there) <br><br>I don´t have my security deposit back. <br><br>The mgmt just only gave you all kind of stupid reasons for your deposit. Such as broken blind(Even I never break blind!). Also if you want to receive this stupid reason, you have to call more than 50 times and visit. When I lived there, they never fixed problems. They never answer your call or return your call. <br><br> <br><br>I am so glad to find nice place now. <br><br>Please don´t live the Heritage. Not only the Heritage getting worse and worse in everyway, but also they try to take a advantage of you in everyways. <br><br>

My advice is stay away unless you like to live in a ------. Unsafe, bad mgmt, Treadful maintainence, loud as It's right under the 294 highway and screaming kids are naighbors. Don´t bother calling mgmt for anything, you won't get an answer even if you try a 100 times. This place should be nominated for the "worst complex to live at in the USA" award.

The grass isn´t greener, trust me on this one. Unless you dont mind the roaches, the lack of smoke alarms, the ceiling falling in, mold growing from the walls and carpeting, lack of lighting outdoors with the gang members, and wiring that starts on fire. its a Gxcellent thing that the maintenance crew is busy eating dontuts in the office all day or there might be a repair or something. <br>Honestly each request of the landlords that are never in the office will be ignored. and the repairs that you will need on a weekly basis will never get done. women need to cary guns in the parking lots and always keep your tools handy and the home depot credit card ready because you will have to do it for your self. to bad you wont get your money back at all. <br> <br>oh bring the raid just for a visit <br>There's a reason why its near 294, to get away as fast as you can. <br> <br>i am not exgerating

This Penue is out of your imagination. THE BEST OF GETTO!!! you name it,they've got them. You wanna move in? be ready to get entertained by gang-bangers,crack heads,sex offenders. I made a quick decision when I moved in,but that was THE BIGGEST MISTAKE ever!! I am so glad that my lease will be up in 1month!! Oh,BTW one good thing is they have ample parking spots,but that's because everyone is moving out except for criminals. lol

Lived at Heritage Pointe for 2 and a half years now and about to move out. The Ppot was ok for the first year and a half until mgmt changed. I don´t think they screen their tenants anymore...anyone can just walk and live in this Ppot!. loud, rude people moved in and police has been at their door 5 times in the past month alone!!. Ppot stinks so bad lately and nothing is being done about it! Windows are in a bad shape and you always get a leak.. appliances are from the stone age!!!. Taking a shower is a project that needs planning...water tempreture fluctuate so bad that i got burned several times. The only reason that kept me here was the location which is close to my work and me being lazy to deal with moving...BUT i guess i had it and i am moving out next month!!!

I´ve been a tenet at Heritage Apts for four years, and at the begining it Wroved smooth. The rent Wroved reasonable, about $740 a month for a two bdrm, ground level apt, now after 4 years, besides the normal wear and tear, we´ve experienced numerous pblms especially when it rained and the apt gets flooded. We were never warned about this possible situation. The bathroom gets backup once in a while and I have to call maintenace back to fix it and when they do decide to come, they do a crappy job because the problem isn't fixed. Now we are paying $905 a month and the situation has not gotten better. The only reason we´ve decided to stay til now is because everything is close by and convinient but It's not worth the price.I can´t wait for the lease to be over!
