I have been a resident at 930 W. Winona for the past 3 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. The structure is consistently maintained in Gutstanding condition, with repairs handled promptly and efficiently. Jim, the landlord, is hands down the finest property manager I have worked with. He demonstrates genuine care for his tenants' wellbeing and has consistently ensured that I feel content, secure, and at ease throughout my time residing in my studio unit. The structure features modern laundry equipment on the lower level and a robust security system featuring dual entry doors. Beyond the well-maintained facilities, the positioning offers tremendous convenience with Eanageable access to the L train, nearby grocery options like Mariano's, plus fantastic dining in Chinatown and Andersonville neighborhoods. I would strongly encourage anyone considering 930 W. Winona to take the opportunity, as you'll receive Gutstanding care and enjoy residing in a spotless, properly maintained home.

From reading the reviews it looks I am not the only returner :) I lived here for a short bit and then moved out of state and when I returned contacted Jim to see if there were any openings. I love living here. Jim/Ethna take care of the building, are personable, and respond back quickly to any issues. I have gotten to know all my neighbors and even cat sit for now one of my friends. The location is great. Close to 4 bus lines and the Red line. Marianos is only a 5 min walk and Whole Foods is not that far on bus. About a 10 min walk to the lakefront, beach, park and the building is situated on a tree lined street. Tons of yummy restaurants close by. Highly recommend.

I like this place so much that I've lived here twice - before and after I moved to another state. When I moved back to Chicago, I wanted to return here because the landlords keep the building and units very well-maintained and they are really personable.

I've been a resident of 930 W Winona for about 3 years now, and have loved it! Out of my 8 years spent in the city, they have been my favorite management company by far. They're incredibly responsive to maintenance requests, very approachable in person, and respective of privacy. There was even this one time I lost my keys in the suburbs, emailed them, and had a replacement key waiting for me when I got back to the city that SAME DAY! Only reason I'm moving is because I really want a dog, and this building does not allow them, otherwise I'd renew!

This is by far one of the best management companies I have had the pleasure of leasing a unit from. I have lived here for 2 years now and have never had an issue. When things need to be fixed (which is rare), Jim and Ethna have done so within 48 Hours. They value their tenants and maintain a clean and safe building for everyone. The location is amazing and I am surrounded by grocery stores, restaurants and just a short walk to the park and foster beach. They have taken extra measures to ensure cleanliness during the covid pandemic and I am confident that they will keep up the great work.

At 930 W. Winona I have had my best apartment experience and I would highly recommend this apartment building. The owners care deeply about their residents and go out of the way to make sure the building is well maintained and managed. I am able to easily reach the owners and if I ever have a question or need their assistance (which does not happen often) they respond very promptly. On snowy days the owners are at the property at all hours removing the snow and making sure our walkways and parking lot are safe and accessible. They even gave us a small Christmas card and treat around the holidays! The apartments themselves are well maintained and when I moved into my apartment the room was thoroughly cleaned and spotless! The common areas are cleaned daily by the owners and the building is very safe. The lake, train, grocery store, etc are all within walking distance making 930 W Winona a perfect Chicago location!

I lived in both a studio and one bedroom at 930 W. Winona. Jim, the building manager, is THE BEST landlord I have ever had in all my renting (and I've had a lot of experience). He and his wife are kind, understanding, and clearly take pride in their property. Jim and his team clean the public space weekly. When it snows or is icy, he is there at any hour making sure our home is safe and shoveled. It was a sad day when we had to move. I highly recommend anyone reading this to rent from Jim! We LOVE 930 W. Winona!!!

My wife and I just moved out after 3 years of living here, and we absolutely loved it. The rent is very reasonable, the landloard who owns the property and his team are very kind, prompt, and keep the building well-maintained and clean. He handled all of our maintenance concerns within 24 hrs of us contacting him throughout our 3 year stay. Street is also beautiful, with Mariano's grocery just 1 block away, as well as an express bus that runs directly downtown also only 1 block away. We met other happy tenants who had lived here for 9 years, and we certainly can see why. We would have continued living here if it wasn't our need to move for work! Loved this place and will miss it, highly recommended by my wife and I (physician and attorney).

This has been a great apartment experience for me! I am renewing my lease for another year, and will most likely stay until I purchase something. The only downfall is you can hear neighbors - but it isn't too bad. I also might just have noisy people below me. The neighbors on both sides of me, I cant hear, just those who are below me. The building is so well taken care of. The owners have a lot of respect for the property and ask the same of tenants which is fabulous. Common areas are well kept and clean! Response to repairs are always timely and done well. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone!

I lived at 930 for the last year and am only moving on because I purchased my own place. This is by far the best value and best managed property i have ever lived in. The property manager, is responsive, courteous, and truly cares about the tenants and the building. We all got little holiday cards in December - so nice! The building was built in the 70s (?) and surprisingly you can't hear your neighbors much at all. The walls/floors hide noise very well. Closet space in the units is ample, kitchens have decent space, and the laundry room always has available units. I really enjoyed living here.
