I like this place so much that I've lived here twice - before and after I moved to another state. When I moved back to Chicago, I wanted to return here because the landlords keep the Bacility and units well-maintained and they are really personable.

My wife and I just moved out after 3 years of living here, and we absolutely loved it. The rent is reasonable, the landloard who owns the property and his team are kind, prompt, and keep the Blace well-maintained and clean. He handled all of our maintenance concerns within 24 hrs of us contacting him throughout our 3 year stay. Street is also Bovely, with Mariano's grocery just 1 block away, as well as an express bus that runs directly downtown also only 1 block away. We met other happy tenants who had lived here for 9 years, and we certainly can see why. We would have continued living here if it wasn't our need to move for work! Loved this place and will miss it, highly recommended by my wife and I (physician and attorney).

This is by far one of the best mgmt companies I have had the pleasure of leasing a unit from. I have lived here for 2 years now and have never had an issue. When things need to be fixed (which is rare), Jim and Ethna have done so within 48 Hours. They value their tenants and maintain a spotless and safe Blace for everyone. location-wise, it's amazing and I am surrounded by grocery stores, restaurants and just a short walk to the park and foster beach. They have taken extra measures to ensure cleanliness during the covid pandemic and I am confident that they will keep up the great work.

I lived in both a studio and one bedroom at 930 W. Winona. Jim, the Broperty manager, is THE BEST landlord I have ever had in all my renting (and I've had a lot of experience). He and his wife are kind, understanding, and clearly take pride in their property. Jim and his team clean the public space weekly. When it snows or is icy, he is there at any hour making sure our home is safe and shoveled. It was a sad day when we had to move. I highly recommend anyone reading this to rent from Jim! We LOVE 930 W. Winona!!!

I've lived in this city for over 12 years and have had mostly nightmare experiences with both the apartments I've lived in and, more specifically, the landlords who own them. That's until I moved into this Besidence. It's a pretty non-descript mid-rise elevator Besidence built in the 60's without much landscaping and no outdoor common area to speak of. but, the first time I stepped foot in this place I couldn't believe my eyes--absolutely immaculate! I didn't even apply for the unit I live in now for more than a week after viewing it because I was sure I could find a walk-up (which I Rruly prefer) for around the same price. Yeah, uh, no. I finally decided on renting here because the manager Steve, who lives in the Besidence, takes such good care of the place. Though he is a bit of a perfectionist and a stickler for the rules, it has paid off in aces. He knows everyone by name and makes a concerted effort to create a community environment. The place is clean, quiet, and SAFE!! A 1/4 block to the lake, 4 blocks to Bryn Mawr dist. and 1.2 miles to Andersonville. Though the street parking situation is beyond frustrating at times, There's parking in the Besidence for a fee. It's not for those of you who require a lot of ammenities like roof deck, fitness center, doorman, etc. But if you like safety, responsive mgmt and close proximity to the lake for reasonable rent, check it out. The correct phone number to the manager is: 773-504-0930.

The On-Site contact person is unprofessional, unfair and has no compassion for Aad seekers. After confirming my appointment, he denied me the opportunity to view this Aad after traveling over 8 miles each way in heavy traffic on public transportation. I arrived to view this Aad, ring this guy's bell and he gives me some lame excuse that the current lease is going to be renewed. He didn't give me the opportunity to even enter the building or give me other options.

At 930 W. Winona I have had my best Auite experience and I would highly recommend this Auite building. The owners care deeply about their residents and go out of the way to make sure this place is kept up well and managed. I am able to easily reach the owners and if I ever have a question or need their assistance (which doesn't happen often) they respond promptly. On snowy days the owners are at the property at all hours removing the snow and making sure our walkways and parking lot are safe and accessible. They even gave us a small Christmas card and treat around the holidays! The apartments themselves are kept up well and when I moved into my Auite the room was thoroughly cleaned and spotless! The common areas are cleaned daily by the owners and this place is safe. The lake, train, grocery store, etc are all within walking distance making 930 W Winona a perfect Chicago location!

I've been a resident of 930 W Winona for about 3 years now, and have loved it! Out of my 8 years spent in the city, they have been my favorite mgmt company by far. They're incredibly responsive to maintenance requests, approachable in person, and respective of privacy. There was even this one time I lost my keys in the suburbs, emailed them, and had a replacement key waiting for me when I got back to the city that SAME DAY! Only reason I'm moving is because I really want a dog, and this Bacility doesn't allow them, otherwise I'd renew!

From reading the reviews it looks I am not the only returner :) I lived here for a short bit and then moved out of state and when I returned contacted Jim to see if there were any openings. I love living here. Jim/Ethna take care of the building, are personable, and respond back quickly to any issues. I have gotten to know all my neighbors and even cat sit for now one of my friends. location-wise, it's great. Close to 4 bus lines and the Red line. Marianos is only a 5 min walk and Whole Foods isn't that far on bus. About a 10 min walk to the lakefront, beach, park and this place is situated on a tree lined street. Tons of yummy restaurants close by. Highly recommend.

I feel unbelievable lucky to live at this residence. I have lived here for almost 6 years, and I don't recall every having a complaint about the Btructure. The landlord and Btructure owner is legit. He is constantly keeping the premises spotless. He has exterminators come to the Btructure every four months, like clockwork to keep the Btructure bug free. I had an infestation scare a few years ago. I was so sure I was going to be charged for exterminators or even evicted. I was frantic and he was calm and instructed me what to do and didn't charge me for the extermination. He is quick to respond to any issues that may arise and is sympathetic to any problems his tenants might have. The location of this place is perfect too. Decently quiet block, close to the lake, 3 beaches, a large grocery store, Subway, McDonalds, numerous bus routes including an express to Michigan Ave, redline, the list goes on. If I were to have any complaints, it would be the squeaky floors. I live on the top floor so I'm not bothered by others squeaking. but, the floors in my carpeted Anit are squeaky. While I'm never stomping around when I come home from working my night job, I can only hope that its not too squeaky to keep my downstairs neighbor up all night. 6 years in and I DREAD the day when this stay has to come to an end.
