O my lord, what a mistake I made!roaches are everywhere,yuck..No hot water, elevators never work.management never speak to you. One security guard, most of them sleep at the desk, unprofessional. Catch them sleeping around 5:30 am, everytime. No heat,I just moved in august and moving right down the street coming this August.

Their NEW management is trouble, there no communication, they don't help you with any situation you may have. The laundry room there's always several washers and dryers thats not working. If you get any box that won't fit in the mailbox they're not going to tell you you have a box to pick up it just sit in the office(LAZY PEOPLE)They said you should know if you got mail coming(WTF)I don't know the exact date it's coming. I can't wait until my lease is up I'm getting the hell out of there. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Move in at your own risk. Tenants are so 'lazy' to take their pets outside of the premises to relieve themselves, so they use the 'hallways' and 'underground parking' to do their thing and not pickup the mess. Resent posters have added to the other ongoing problems in this 'project' that are still going on.

Building is infested with roaches. Security is horrible. Only one security on site for a 22 floor building. In the past year, someone has shot in the building, and someone has been stabbed on the property. Management does not tell renters of the safety issues, so it is good to talk to your neighbors. Water pipes are always being "prepared", with duct tape (saw it with my own eyes). Elevators are constantly breaking down. One of the ladies in the office takes the freight elevator to the 22nd floor (where I think she lives) and turns it off at nite. So if the other 2 elevators are acting funny, hope you live on the lower floors. Living in this building is like living in a high rise project building. I wish I had known these things before I moved in. Desperately looking to move out now, but scared to pack my stuff, dont want to take the roaches with me. The building overall is disgusting, but you will not know this until you move in.

the buidling is awful. The laundry room only runs cold water in the machines; the parking garage drips and managment makes you sign a paper that says they will not be responsible for damage to cars-- yet they won't fix the problem. Major roach infestation. Monthly exterminating does not help. Management staff are nice and helpful but I believe their hands are tied by the cheap owners.

I have been looking for a 1 bedroom apartment.....in the South Shore Area....the rents are very high. I went to Michigan Beach Apartments, and I was shown 3 1 bedroom apartments, and no roaches were found and the elevators were working. I read the reviews listed before I went, but I chose to go anyway...and I found the reviews to be untrue. I would have been able to move in, if I had been on my job for a year...They are a stickler for their standard qualifications...and they do complete background checks on their residents....which is a GREAT THING!!!!

FOR 1 YEAR ONLY, ONLY 1 ELEVATOR WORKED FOR A 22 FLOOR BUILDING!!! ON MOTHERS DAY OF 2007, I HAD THE GIFT OF HELL....I HAD TO WALK 18 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS, BECAUSE OF THE ELEVATORS WERE OUT OF ORDER. INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND MANAGEMENT CARES ONLY ABOUT YOUR RENT. I HAVE HAD WATER LEAK INTO MY CLOSETS FROM UPSTAIRS AND MY WATER TURNED OFF WITHOUT NOTICE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SITE TO MY ENEMY.

The apartments are infested with roaches. Its loud and you can hear everything going on in everybodys apartment. Security sucks, police and fire trucks are always here. They cut off the water with out telling you, and the laundry room sucks, parking sucks i do not reccomend anyone to live here, and rent is extremly too high.
