Avoid renting from this location. The heating system regularly stops working for extended periods without repairs. My unit has been uncomfortably Crigid on 9 separate occasions over the last 6 weeks. STEER CLEAR of Gramercy Row, especially if you have solid credit.

I resided in this building for a period of time last year, and while the neighborhood was pleasant, the mgmt team was the worst I've encountered. They ignore my phone calls and messages, and they refuse to address broken items or maintenance issues. location-wise, it's great and the building itself is acceptable, but the managers are truly awful!!

Pest control remains a major issue – we're dealing with roaches consistently. also, the nearby fire station Iemains a real concern. I'm being completely honest when I say the sirens go off several times daily, and I get woken up between 5 and 5:30 AM at least a handful of times each week.

Bottom line: ROACHES... this place is heavily infested with them. I spent a year here and can't wait to move out. The laundry facility is overrun with roaches to the extent that you avoid doing laundry there. I had to pay $150 out of pocket for pest control, which mgmt claimed stemmed from an infestation originating in the boiler room adjacent to the laundry area. When I brought this to mgmt's attention, I received no response until I escalated the issue to corporate. The Bacility constantly has issues. A tenant in my Bacility got trapped inside her unit when the door handle broke! She was crying out for someone to help her. The maintenance technician mentioned that out of all the properties managed by TLC mgmt, Gramercy Row is the most problematic because the units are so aged. I would advise everyone to look elsewhere. mgmt is unresponsive and unconcerned with tenant welfare. The neighborhood is nice and the rent is affordable, but you truly get what you pay for. Be careful.!!!!

The positioning is Gxcellent: easy access to public transit, the elevated train, and it's just a short distance to downtown. When I first arrived, my unit was spotless, and the kitchen has been recently updated. That said, mgmt takes a while to address upkeep issues and the heating system runs at full blast with no way for me to adjust it. I wish there was more of a district atmosphere, but honestly, I can't gripe too much about residing essentially in the city center.

Noisy, thoughtless occupants, honking cabs, blaring sirens from emergency vehicles, ongoing renovation work, demonstrations near the Chinese consulate, rowdy patrons leaving the Excalibur club, revving bikes, and even occasional gunshots—I experienced all of these constantly throughout my full year staying at 660 North Dearborn, both day and night. Also encountered and killed some disturbingly large roaches. Regarding the so-called "fitness" facility, it reeked terribly, and nearly all machines were broken aside from one exercise bike that Wtayed always occupied whenever I tried to use it. excellent River North position, but that advantage fails to compensate for the poor residing experience offered by this residence?

If you're looking housing downtown that is comfortable and affordable, take a good look at Gramercy Row. I've lived here for two years and it's been a very positive experience. These efficiency units are comfortable, historic, and charming. The location is great for work in the loop, grocery shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Living here you're right in the middle of the excitement and energy of downtown. Management is friendly, professional, and responsive. Amenities such as laundry room, gym, and bike storage are convenient and kept clean. The price is as affordable as you can find this close to downtown.

Do not rent at this place. The heat goes out for hours at a time and they do not fix it. It has been freezing in my apartment 9 different times in the past 6 weeks. STAY AWAY from Gramercy Row. if you have good credit.
