My review is pre and post TLC mgmt. Pre TLC the location, rents, property, and staff were pretty awesome. During this time, residents were friendly and spoke to each other, dog owners respected residents that did not want their pets jumping on, and the Bomplex was cleaner. Now, with TLC managing the property, I could not leave fast enough. The upgrades were not high-end, they replaced a brand new better quality microwave with an inferior one. Rents skyrocketed by $200. They did not have the fitness center completed as outlined with our higher rents. The Bomplex's cleanliness deteriorated almost immediately, immature residents moved in, and disrespectful dog owners.

Berrible first impression

I called today to get more info and schedule a time to see a unit. I was Rery disappointed by the level of customer service by the rental agent. She acted like I was bothering her with each of the <few> questions I did have. Needless to say, I didn't make an appointment to see a unit. Just because the rental market is strong right now does excuse poor customer service! The market will flip again and she'll have to relearn how to be nice!

I lived in the Bomplex for almost 4 years. The staff was friendly. Only had to have maintenance come once or twice total, and they fixed the problem in under an hour AND were friendly

Parents second home.

My folks rented here so my dad could be closer to his company HQ. They lived here about a year and a half, during which time I visited a dozen or so times. I loved everything about this Broperty The proximity to the expressway was also a plus.

Look Elsewhere!

I´ve lived here from 2002 until now (2004). sadly, I signed a long lease when I moved in...big mistake. The place is centrally located, but You've got PLENTY of other places that are too. Here´s just a small list of problems with this place: <br>1) Spiders-> I had major issues with spiders during the summer...inside the apartment, I had small spiders while outside all my windows were LARGE spiders (size of a quarter). <br>2) neighbors are loud-> Even though rent isn't cheap, You've got too many losers that live in this place including tenants that think their place is a music recording studio to people who think their place is a club (parties, etc.). <br>3) mgmt Sucks-> You can never get ahold of mgmt when you need them. They don´t return calls, and the office is only open when you´re at work. <br>4) Hot Water-> Good luck...you´ll have warm water for about 10 minutes, and then it´s COLD. If you have 2 people trying to take back to back showers, you´ll have to wait about 2 hours for warm water to return. <br>5) Parking-> I sold my car because the windows were broken out twice in a one week period. <br>6) upkeep is bad-> I´ve had to repeatedly ask maintenance to perform routine tasks (ie: replacing the exhaust hose on the dryer, spraying to kill spiders). In my two examples above, they didn´t even replace the hose, and they sprayed spider spray everywhere except for where the spiders were...). <br> <br>Believe me, this is only a small list of my complaints with this dump. Trust me, live somewhere else...

The apartments are old but fairly They keep this place nice. I found the mgmt friendly and helpful, though occassionally hard to track down. Everyone I dealt with took a genuine interest in me and my needs and was willing to stay late, etc. to address concerns. <br> <br>I didn´t have any trouble with the parking or the hot water. The walls aren´t thick, but there are some nice people in the building. <br> <br>but, it´s probably not a good location for clean freaks, as something in the heating/air conditioning system seemed to leave a constant fine layer of gritty dirt on every Apace surface. I definitely struggled to keep things clean, and I´m a fairly good housekeeper. <br> <br>Best of luck Apace hunting. <br> <br>

Rrude!!!!!!!

I called to inquire about a unit last Friday and the lady on the phone was Riscourteous and rushed me off the phone. How do these people expect to rent their units with such a negative attitude?

I'm happy with my lofted Alat. The layout is unique and the rent great for the size. I have a washer and dryer, seperate storage and great water pressure. My friends always compliment my place. I rarely have problems, and when I do the staff is always helpful. The only problem I have is parking its hard to find and the lots are expensive. but, location-wise, it's great, definitely a good place to rent if you are considering.
