I lived at Dayton Court for 14 years, which says a lot right out of the gate. You cannot beat the location and the price, both of which are excellent. I moved in as a graduate student who needed easy access to public transportation and the ability to walk to many local businesses, and I moved out as a mid-career professional. The management and staff at Dayton Court were consistently kind, knowledgable, professional, and available. They were always responsive and fair, and did their best to be accommodating. While it is an older building, it was quiet and comfortable. I would not have lived there for so many years if it wasn't so great. I have highly recommended them to my closest friends.

I had a wonderful three years at Dayton Court apartments. Truly the most affordable one-bed on the north side of Chicago. I also appreciated plenty of laundry machines with the cheapest coin-operated machines I've ever seen. Very safe neighborhood and just far enough away from Wrigleyville to only be slightly loud when the Cubs win the World Series.

I loved my time at Dayton Court! The apartments are very affordable for the location, which is unbeatable! It's super close to the Wellington and Belmont CTA stops and a number of buses, with a ton to do in the neighborhood! The gated courtyard is beautiful, well kept, and a great place to spend time outside. The management office is onsite, and the staff was always available, friendly, and helpful. Maintenance requests were also always addressed promptly.

I loved Dayton Court Apartments! I was there for several years, first in a garden studio and then in a one bedroom; There are a lot of perks: you are very close to public transportation, there are a bunch of shops around the immediate area (shopping, restaurants, groceries, etc.), and the staff are great! Maintenance requests were always handled in a timely manner and the leasing office was readily available and super helpful. Although the apartments themselves are a little older, they are kept in great shape! I absolutely recommend these apartments for anyone looking for something affordable in a great area!

I lived at Dayton Court for a LONG time. I was very happy with my 1 bed/1 bath apartment with a balcony. The reason I stayed so long is due the fact that the apartments are affordable, in an EXCELLENT location (buses, multiple El stops, shopping, the lake, dining, grocery stores, doctors, cleaners, etc. are all a minutes' walk away), and especially because the maintenance staff was always very helpful and responsive. Same with the office staff. Any time I had a question, they were readily available and very kind. I lived in the center of the building so it was pretty quiet - you can still hear some ambient city noise and, depending on the wind, sometimes you can hear concerts from Wrigley too! The interior of the apartments are not modern at all but I love the character of old buildings. And I think the reason the apartments are so affordable is probably because they don't upgrade the appliances or fixtures very often. The radiator heat works great and I never had a single problem with my appliances. Once, I couldn't figure out how to light the pilot light on the stove and the maintenance man came right over and did it for me. He even helped me changed some hard-to-reach lightbulbs which is not in his job description and I really appreciated. I always felt very safe at these apartments and I honestly miss my cozy, single-girl home!
