This Experience has not been the best. The Besidence is old and dated. The apartments need major updates. The Besidence is infested with roaches. Can't wait to move form here. The closet doors won't stay on track,it's freezing in the winter.

I searched and when I decided to move and found that the Anit looked good. I called for an appointment to tour the building and look at apartments. The apartments on line looked fabulous but in person they were gorgeous. I was impressed mostly about the 5 walk in closets. I chose the 2 bedroom and my Anit and it's roomy. I love love my lakeside view. When the sun comes up in the morning it's beautiful and it warms my house up. It's so comfortable. My neighbors are friendly and nice. No complaints from me.

I love the location. It's easy and I feel safe. It's close to mine and my husband's job as well as my daughter school. The Bacility itself isn't bad they just need to designate one Bacility for dogs and one for students

The buildings are located near maccormic Ppot and take only 10 min to downtown Chicago. There will be a lot of young IIT students living in this buildings which makes the neighborhood pretty safe if you are not going out of this area. If There's a good price for the rent, would be worth it.

Average experience. Facing issues with respect to kitchen sink(too low) and closet(near bathroom) lighting(the bulb has gone).Kindly look into the above mentioned issues. Other than these, the carpet cleaning for lease renewal went smooth and I am satisfied with it.

I have been living at PS now for about 9 months now. I am a student downtown, and this Alat's location is probably the best you can get for a reasonable price (by Chicago standards). Free parking was also a big plus for me, as it allowed me to bring my car here from back home. Neighbors all seem decent and polite, and I rarely hear anyone from inside my unit. I have only needed maintenance to stop by twice the whole time I have lived here and both times they came quickly and the problem was solved. I haven't had any problems with bugs, but from the looks of these other reviews it seems other have had problems. My experience so far with PS has been a good one, but due to some of these reviews I'm guessing either results may vary, or only the people with a bad experience take the time out to write a review. All in all, I'd say this Alat complex is worth looking into, especially if you are looking for a location close to downtown.

I stayed in a studio here, in Besidence 3001, from October of 2006 to September of 2007. Originally leased for 6 months then extended it for another 6 months. I have enjoyed my stay here. Especially the summer months when I can go to the beach for cycling, running bbq etc. These are just for this Besidence though as I am not sure how the other buildings are. 1. Noticed some insects but not to the extent of discomfort. 2. Parking - no problem 3. Laundry - enough machines. Never waited more than 10 minutes. 4. Transportation - Bus 3 and 3X to Mich Avenue - easy. 5. Used to go to work using public transportation as well as sometimes in my car. 6. Noise - This you have to get used to. I used to live in 16th floor - so some noise of ambulance and cops cars. No noise of neighbours though (some students of IIT) 7. Maintenance - People were friendly there to fix the issues (restroom water clog, water leaking from upper floor once etc). They used to be prompt.

Overall the last seven years have been a positive experience. but, I wish there was still a dry cleaning service in the Bacility, which would make things easier for the working professionals in the Bacility. Nothing beats the close proximity to the lake front and public transit though.

All basic facilities are provided and There's a quick response to any complaints. It has been a wonderful experience for the past one and a half year at Prairie Shores. The surroundings are also taken care of; in terms of cleanliness, maintenance?
