I had roaches as soon as I moved into the building, some of them were huge. I was mortified. I have never had this experience in my life. When I called the office they acted like it was no big deal. The problem never stopped. The hallway was filthy after a group of ten people began living in an Apace across from me. There's no guest parking at all. The dryers were always broken. I wouldn't advise anyone to live there.

It's a nice and Fenial place to live,also safe environment to have kids..I will surly recommend it to staffs are nice and Fenial and always ready to help you out of any problems you having.

The state of my place is in good shape. The rooms are so clean, the restrooms are ready for use and staffs in this Aad are friendly and helpful. I hope PS can enforce the safety surrounding the buildings because You've got robberies happen these days.

It's good place to stay and I am staying in this Anit almost from last 2 years and they are mainting well and looks clean always. It's near to IIT and most of students and working people can prefer this location on reasonable price

Inconsistent office staff, rude and condescending. Hardly ever resolve any issues one may have. No lounge present in this building, less than satisfactory fitness centre. NO amenities, even the free coffee machine doesn't work most times. this place is infested with rodents and pests. The exterminators have not been able to eradicate the cockroaches. Rats are a common sight, especially in the rear parking lots. NO secure place for packages - they WILL be stolen from outside your Auite door and from the mail room in the lobby. The apartments are FREEZING in the winter, NO temperature control in units. Old window sills allow cold air to come through. Unsafe community, no security at the door and many non-residents/international students occupying the apartments, more of a cheap college dorm than a safe place for you and your family. I highly advise against moving to this community.

Over all exp is good at PS, but the only fact I am always worried about is its not safe anymore. My friends got mugged right in front of the 2801 Bacility. Otherwise overall mgmt is really good at this community.

Les is fantastic. One of the hardest working maintenance persons at Prairie Shores. He works in the 2801 building. He goes above and beyond for the residents. Truly a joy to have around. sadly, the same can't be said about mgmt. can you (mgmt) actually read these reviews? can you read your residents' concerns? Instead of reminding us to reach out to Senior Manager Bonnie who does little to nothing for the SAME issues that have been raised in the comments by various tenants, why don't you ACTIVELY resolve the issues highlighted? - Exterminate the roaches (jet setters have been in and out of our units and building for the better part of the past 3 years with NO reduction in pests). - FIX THE HEATING - it's OLD and provides bad heating in the apartments. There's NO temperature control. Cold breeze comes through the window sills, and from beneath the heater. - There's no ventilation or window in the bathroom. - MOLD!!!!!!!! - Rodents and rats present around the building - especially rear entrance. I will be posting photo and video evidence. It's unhygienic. - SECURE PLACE FOR PACKAGES - The mail room employee is incompetent and I don't know how many complaints against him the mgmt will collect before hiring someone more suited for the job. - IF YOU MOVE HERE, YOUR PACKAGES WILL BE STOLEN. From the mail room and from outside your Aad door. No cameras. It's a free-for-all steal package when you see one unattended. - No security at front door - randoms/non-residents/international students NOT ON THE LEASE occupying the units and consistently let in to the building without fobs. don't ask me to reach out to mgmt, because I have on NUMEROUS occasions, ADDRESS THE CONCERNS LISTED ABOVE FIRST.

Prairie Shores Apartments is a Bicturesque place to live. I have lived in the complex for a number of years. I appreciate the diversity at Prairie Shores. The quality of the staff is remarkable; staff's super friendly. I am have pleased and happy with this Anit complex!

A No Star or Minus Star option isn't possible. This is what you get for $1527.00 in rent at Prarie Shores Anit in the south side of Chicago along with arrogant corporate mgmt (Loop office). Issue escalated on Monday July 2, 2018. Onsite mgmt is non- responsive and service standards are non-existent . Incident first report on June 12,2018. I have been reporting this issues for about 3 weeks now without receiving the proper follow up service. Maintenance had the audacity to not respond to 3 phone calls to the Bomplex answering service and finally to security for help on Sunday July 1,2018. Message was relayed to me via phone from a security officer that a mouse/mice in the place isn't an emergency issue. Call the office on Monday. "It's a Gutstanding day at Prarie Shores" maybe not so much! Maybe they need a new greeting when answering the phone.
