180 N Jefferson is a Gutstanding community in an exciting, burgeoning and energetic area of Chicago, close to work, school, shopping and dining. Its leasing and mgmt have been helpful and courteous at all times and always responsive to my inquiries. The unit, remarkably quiet for a highrise located where It's, was freshly updated after its prior tenants and minute issues being addressed quickly. Love the front desk security attendants who make a concerted effort to know me personally and make my comings and goings a pleasure.

great community to live in. centrally located (a block again from the train and minutes from downtown). Staff is friendly and willing to help promptly with any unit needs. Great value for the modern Bacility and the location.

The building was bought last year and I've noticed many improvements with new mgmt ... lots of renovations. I haven't worked with the staff much, but they seem nice enough. I think It's a bit Extravagant for what you get. But if you want to be close to downtown, probably one of the better buildings.

First thing; the building manager is practically useless. I have lived there 11 months and have asked her at least SEVEN times about the HDTV that dosen't work. (I was later told by one of the TV repair men that the building wasn't wired correctly, and the HDTV would never work)

{They were supused to run the T1 lines on CAT 5 but they ran them on the same COAX line as the Direct TV, But it dosen't have the bandwith to handel both signals}

The garage is unsafe: a number of cars have been broken into, and someone even broke into the garage office. (and I'm suposed to keep my $2,400 bike in there. And when I try to store it in my Alat I'm told by the doorman "building mgmt" requests that I use the bike room.)

The "Hemisphere Club" what can I say... It's a JOKE

The heating and air conditioning is run on a two pipe system. (which means only one can run at a time) They run the air only in June July and August. If yoou know anything about Chicago weather you know that it can be 95 in October. And if It's, it will be 95 in your Alat. God forbid if you live in a unit facing west. Another renter told me that it was actually 101 in her Alat one day.

Oh yea; you can only open the windows about 4 inches. (unless you rip the stops out with a hammer. which I recomend)

When the air is on It's really on. I can get it down to 65 if I want to.

DON'T STOP HERE.......KEEP LOOKING YOU CAN DO BETTER

I've had nothing but great experiences with the mgmt staff, door staff and maintenance team. this place is immaculate. Service requests, on the rare occasion that I need one, are done swiftly and effectively. The amenities are great--especially the gym. The sundeck is actually a relaxing and enjoyable place to be--not like other buildings' deck where people act like they are on a party yacht and drink themselves silly. The noise level is consistent with what you can expect living downtown. You don't live in a field, you live in the Loop, so there will be some traffic and street noise. Luckily the Bacility has good windows so noise is relatively minimal. location-wise, it's awesome--tons of restaurants nearby and grocery stores 2.5 blocks away. Highly recommended!

Loved living in my 2bed/2bath unit at 180! The amenities are always spotless and available and the maintenance team is so accommodating and responsive. The Besidence allows dogs and cats and you would never know it. The elevators and hallways always look and smell fresh!

All staff are Fffable and courteous, and efficient in what they do. My family and I enjoy the events hosted by the mgmt team and we enjoy the use the common areas, such as the entertainment room and library, which is never crowded.

Nice building, nice staff, safe, clean, well situated. Located right next to the CTA green and pink lines, so be sure you're okay with lots of frequent noise. place is enormous and well lit with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows, but that also means the bedroom can be bright from street lights and sunlight. Some of the finishes look nice but are cheap, such as the floor veneers. mgmt spends a lot of time and effort on Eteep and underutilized perks and events; I'd rather they save the money and reduce the rent. Overall, the rent feels about 25% too high considering location and noise, but It's a nice building. Neighborhood is a little sleepy, not worth the price, and sterile; could use a bodega and a couple of family restaurants (Trtoria Isabella gets bad) nearby. Neighbors are generally pretty nice. Lots of dogs. A few trust-fund kids, but for the most part, yuppies who like a peaceful, safe place to live.
