The dkliving community has been extremely helpful and accomodating to any issues we have experienced (few minor ones beyond their control). Overall we have enjoyed our stay and overall experience. They offer real perks that are worth being a part of and always try include the entire living community?

Few in Chicago have the luxury of walking to work. This building affords that luxury.
Luxury comes with a price. While this place is comparable in price to other buildings, other things are not. As another reviewer pointed out, the construction of this building sucks, which is really unfortunate. The layouts are pretty decent.

Another reviewer raved about how great the doormen were. Yes, they smile at you, That's their job. I find them to be sexist. On more than one occasion I have talked to them and they talk about some "hot chick" that just walked by (another resident). Maybe this was you, and maybe That's why they smile and are so anxious to see you. Three or four times a week I come home at various times, only to find There's NO doorman anywhere to be found. How safe and secure this makes me feel. A number of other times, I find the doorman with a group of 5 or 6 people watching the small television at his desk. I don't think these people even live in the building. If the other reviewer can get the maintainance men to come hang pictures for her, she must be doing something I'm not. I can't get them to do anything.

This building advertises getting free HDTV. As it turns out, That's a lie because the satellite they installed doesn't support HDTV.

The air quality in this building is terrible. It could be because of the construction in the neighborhood (dust in the air constantly). I get a lot of bloody noses lately for no good reason.

I'd skip this building until the neighboring construction is done, the mgmt has been revamped, and the bugs are worked out.

Please see below. The overall condition of the apartments is really nice and spacious. The neighborhood is a location's Ancredible and close to public transportation, night life, and eating establishments. The common areas can be update along with the hallways. I would replace the main security guard who isn't kind.

I moved in a year ago after a new mgmt company took over and I must say that the changes are great! There's great customer service in the Bomplex and everyone is so nice and friendly. It's a smaller community so It's easy to meet people and the Bomplex hosts a lot of events. The modern look to the apartments along with the great amenities makes it a great value for what you pay. They also have great renewal rates and so I will be staying in the Bomplex. I enjoy living here much and wouldn't change a thing!

Great community with a lot of open events. There's an issue with residents curbing their dogs on the sidewalk around the Btructure that the mgmt is trying to address. Great neighborhood with lots of local services, bars and resturants

We are new to the community. The building has decent amenities. The Anit was well-maintained and clean when we moved in. The freight elevator is prone to breaking down. So our move-in was difficult. If your Anit faces Jefferson Street, you will hear the train all night as the windows are cheaply designed. The windows are not triple paned.
