Living here has been a mixed experience. On the pros: The apartment is beautiful and the layout is well thought out. The location couldn't be better and the service staff is quick and kind. Cons: There are CONSTANTLY issues with the management team: 1. Our building fabs don't work for anything. The business center, resident lounge, backyard etc. You have to track down the front desk who is absolutely swamped with amazon packages and visitors to try to get you in anywhere. 2. The resident lounge is also the employee lounge. This is literally what the management team told me AFTER we moved in. The employees eat and watch TV in the lounge without headphones in every day during their working breaks. It's not a resident lounge, be warned. 3. They do construction on apartments and don't notify us in advance. The power drills, hammering and music is super annoying when everyone is trying to work from home. 4. The management team is only available during working hours. So if you have an issue, you need to keep running down until you find someone. And when you do have an issue, they make you feel like you're the only person who has ever said a single negative thing about the building or your experience living here. 5. Snow removal. The grills and common space areas are not shoveled or maintained. In fact, the grills are all broken. You need to bring your own lighters and equipment to get them started. 6. When you have packages that arrive, it can be several hours before you're able to pick them up from the front desk. They have a sign that says come pick them up later and sometimes that sign is up all morning and afternoon.

We love Echelon Chicago for many reasons. All areas in the building are constantly being cleaned The staff throughout the building are friendly and helpful. They made moving in painless and continue to be helpful whenever asked for anything. The location is beside the Jewel Osco, a park, a dog park area and playground, all transportation, and the wonderful smell of Blommer Chocolate! Walking is great in the neighborhood. People walk their dogs, run, bike, walk to restaurants, stores, parks, entertainment and just to walk. The layouts are spacious, storage is abundant, the kitchen and bathrooms are modern, walls are thick, water pressure and temperature is fantastic, neighbors are friendly but not intrusive, any maintenance is done quickly, and animals are allowed but I never hear or smell them! The amenities are well taken care of and are large enough for many to use them. We use the parking garage and it is safe and has been a great place to keep our truck. Deliveries are brought to the front desk, scanned, secured and we receive notification for picking them up . The people living here are a wide mixture of ages, nationalities and professions. We have enjoyed all aspects of living at Echelon Chicago. We did a lot of research of the apartments in the area and we made the right choice with picking Echelon Chicago!

I moved to Echelon at K Station from Lincoln Park and love the change in neighborhood. Having Jewel across the street is amazing and the staff on site is so helpful. My AC wasn't working and it was fixed the same day with no trouble.

Echelon at K Station is a great building to live in! Very close to bars/restaurants and has a great grocery store right across the street! The amenities are also great - gym, laundry in unit, beautiful pool, bbqs, etc. Would definitely recommend the building to friends.

Love the building, love the amenities, and especially love the staff. I couldn't imagine a better living experience. The common areas are always clean and never overcrowded. The apt is very quiet, rarely hear any neighbors, and never have any issues (except the occasional light bulb needing to be changed). The staff is most helpful, super friendly, and always available. It's also so central to everything I need, and most importantly right across the street from a grocery store :)

I love it- Everyone is so nice here - It is so nice get be able to walk out of the building every morning and the concierge greets you with a smile and "good Morning". Sounds so simple but it really starts my day out right. I automatically have to smile back and it ensures my mood to a happy one. Everyone is nice and respectful, from the management and leasing team, to the maintenance people. They are quick to solve a problem and all with such kindness. I really enjoy living here as it is a safe, clean, well maintained, and luxurious apartment building. Oh and the pool is awesome in the summer.
