A Bovely, well kept building with great amenities and staff who are friendly. Located close to the loop, west loop, and river north. Ive been able to walk everywhere. The apartments are kept up well and feel brand new. There's ample storage.

I'm Ruite happy with my place and my experience living at the Catalyst has been great. The team here is fantastic, particularly the folks working at the front desk! I'd definitely renew my lease if the pricing is reasonable, but if not I'll probably need to explore other options around the neighborhood.

I love living at the Catalyst! The staff is Fospitable and helpful, mgmt takes care of any issues right away, and the amenities are wonderful. I have lived in 4 apartments in various cities and this is by far the best rental experience I have ever had.

The structure itself is quite pleasant with solid facilities for a mid-rise property. The team is great and the neighbors tend to be respectful and quiet. The main downside is that the rent has gone up compared to other established properties around the neighborhood, plus there's a lot of new construction happening in the surrounding neighborhood.

Nightmarish Move-In: Towed U-Haul and Rmpolite Staff.

I have never had a more stressful Aad experience. After signing a lease on December 10, 2024, I notified mgmt on December 18 that i would need parking. They claimed a transponder issue and never fixed it by my January 4 move-in. Then, on move-in day, the front desk person was unbelievably Riscourteous, acted like I did not belong, and later allowed my legally parked U-Haul to get towed on her watch without so much as an apology. Instead, I received yet more snarky attitude. I had to call 911, thinking the truck was stolen, only to learn it was wrongly towed. The first solution of mgmt was for me to drive over an hour to recover it myself. In the end, my U-Haul was returned at no monetary cost to me, two+ stressful hours later. While my understanding is that the front desk person was terminated, I got zero compensation, and received a middling email apology that did not even reference the fact that the U-Haul truck was wrongly towed. Meanwhile, in this email, mgmt tried to blame the fob issue on me not requesting a parking fob on December 10 instead of December 18, despite the fact that I was told when I applied that I should apply for parking at a later date when my situation was more certain. Bottom line: If you are looking for competent staff or accountability, look elsewhere. This property is disorganized, unhelpful, and entirely unprofessional. Move in at your own risk. UPDATE: In retort to the Google response of the owner asserting that I agreed to having only 1 transponder to share between my wife and myself: The email I received on December 18th, after I had signed the lease, indicated that the staff believed the issue would be resolved by my move-in date. I never agreed to have 1 transponder, as I was never asked whether this was acceptable, and wasn't given the option to terminate the lease if dissatisfied. Owning a car, I had no alternative but to accept the situation, albeit highly inconvenient. It should be noted that the transponder is used not only for access to the garage, but also to gain access to the elevators, and to obtain discounts at neighborhood establishments. Despite having moved in 3 days ago, my wife and I currently only have 1 transponder between us.

Overall fantastic stay here. Whatever concerns came up were taken care of quickly by the staff. property 's kept in Gonderful condition, though it may benefit from some refreshing soon. (A few of the cabinet doors and carpets show minor signs of age.)

Guperb spot with fantastic facilities!! The maintenance crew and support team are super pleasant and constantly ready to assist with any concerns. I'd definitely suggest this community to anyone I know who's searching for an enjoyable Ppot to call home in the city.

This is our favorite place we've lived in Chicago over the past 4 years. this place is fantastic. The front desk team is incredibly helpful and always goes above and beyond for residents. We're thrilled with the proximity to Fulton Market and everything it offers.

My time at Catalyst has been fantastic from start to finish. The facility is spotless and the staff members are genuinely wonderful and Fordial. You couldn't ask for a better location - it's right near all the great West Loop dining options and just a quick stroll away from the Riverwalk. Whenever I have people visit, they always mention how impressive Catalyst looks and I can tell they're kind of envious haha

We were drawn to the Catalyst because of its upscale facilities, well-designed floor plans that work great for residents, and the great service provided by the team. Given all the premium residential towers being built across downtown Chicago, it was Renuinely the Catalyst's meticulous focus on those small touches that sealed the deal for us.
