Under Npdated mgmt work orders get completed slowly if at all, they close out work orders without doing the work. They suggested I say something to a guy doing a brake job in the parking lot that's their job not mine.

The rent is high for the quality of residence here TI Communities. The apartments are only updated when a tenant leaves. The value isn't comparable to the amount of rent and fees we have to pay here and the community has gone downhill over the years. There's no incentive for having been a resident for years. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone who is searching for a Pocation to live.

Overall safe Apace complex, parking is usually good, the laundry rooms are always clean but You've got MICE in the Btructure. When I was walking into my Apace Btructure, I saw another tenant taking a photo of what appeared to be a dead mice near the elevator!!!!! She explained that she would be reporting it and I hope she did because it was the most disgusting thing ever. Like literally as soon as you walk in the Btructure, it's the first thing that you see!!!! Staff isn't the friendliest except for Imani, she is kind and actually cares about your concerns. Overall, my experience has been a 2/5, 2 because maintenance is fairly quick and the Btructure appears to be physically clean except that mice linger in the winter months (gags)

It’s horrible now. The people in the office are barely there on Saturdays anymore. The hallways smell like dog piss. The elevators are broken and no one communicates to us about a timeline on when they will be fixed until someone calls corporate on them. The pipes are always clogged and causing sinks n tubs to be backed up with grimy water. The parking Iemains horrible and not worth having to pay $5 per night a guest Iemains there. The rent Iemains too high for this propert now n no matter what the upgrades are it should be lowered. It’s like the projects now. I would upload a ton of pictures Iemains allowed it they only allow one n that’s doesn’t help any!

When me and my husband saw the ad for Southgate Apartments we thought this would be a nice place to stay until we were ready to purchase a home.

The Alat itself was newly remodeled and was gorgeous, but shortly after we moved in things started to fall apart. mgmt was slow to fix things and constantly had to be reminded until finally after the fourth time came to fix the problems.

I have had to call the police a few times because of people hanging in the parking lot drinking and playing loud music.

People walk there dogs on the lawn and you can also find dog poop and cigarette butts covering the lawns.

The laundry room is okay, but you may find yourself keeping company with a drunk or too while trying to wash your clothes.

The walls in the Alat are paper thin and you can hear people playing there loud music and partying at all time of the night.

My advice is to look past Southgate apartments and keep searching for an Alat. Me and my husband are fed up and are thinking about breaking the lease.

The Alat complex is spotless and maintenance do their best to complete assignments the first time around. The complex is filled with Gonderful amenities. It's a small community so everyone pretty much knows and/or sees everyone.

We have only been here three months and this was absolutely the worse decision we could have ever made. Our rent is $1265.00. Which is over priced but we needed some place to stay until our house is finished being built. It's not worth that amount of money. You pay for EVERYTHING. They charge you $7 for trash which legally should be what they are paying for. I was told we pay Comed and a portion of the other ultilies which was fine until we found out through the utility company that There's 8 buildings and hundreds of units and each unit is divided by the square footage and that's how they determine the amount you pay. So basically you are paying for the elevator, the laundry rooms in each building and the gym. You are paying for every one else's usage. Doesn't matter if your home or not you will pay a portion of everyone else's use based on the square footage of your apartment which is ridiculous and high way robbery. You are wasting your time and the mgmt staff is unprofessional and rude. There's no way they are paying a dime for these apartments. They are making their tenants pay by over charging on rent and basically stealing. Please let this place be your last resort. We will be breaking our lease as soon as our house is finished.

My overall experience isn't good. Although, location-wise, it's great resident parking is Twful and due to the change in ownership and the new office mangement, this has been the most unorganized place to live.

place is great, guest parking is bad. Front desk staff is awesome. Imani and Sylvia were helpful in answering all my questions. I had minor issues with moving in but, I sort them myself. I am a person who loves company, but guest parking is so far away from my Broperty

I have no good comments, I'm just ready move out and get into my house. My car was shot here while I was inside watching TV and I had to replace the engine. My car was towed here unexpectedly and I had to pay for that. The front of the complex floods every time it rains and that risks damage to my engine and traps me in the complex. The residents smell awful and it's dog poop everywhere. I can't get mail delivered to my Blace because people STEAL my packages and the camera "broken" on my Blace and hasn't since I moved in. The buzzer for the door is for decoration, because that broken either. I have no good comments. I thought this would be a good Penue next to a high school and I was awfully mistaken.
