Defending Southgate Apartments!.

I've lived in Southgate Apartments for three years now, I've never seen a mouse or a roach. I am a single woman, and I can honestly say that I feel safe when I am walking in my Apace at night. Of course, there's always going to be a few ignorant people who make the whole complex seem bad, but overall I've never had any problems. Yes, the walls are thin, but keep in mind that It's a Apace not a house, if you want complete and utter privacy, you need to purchase a home. There's not going to be any Apace complex you move in and not hear any noise from neighbors! The mgmt has always been extremely kind to me, and prompt when it comes to repairing things.I will agree that the rent is kind of high, but this is Chicago, rent is high everywhere! When I moved in, it was my first time renting, and no one would give me a chance, and they did, and for that I am thankful. Ultimetly, I am writing this to say be your own judge, people will always have negative things to say, but I say Southgate isn't as bad as some people try to make it.

It's been rocky. Yoo many smokers and pot smokers. Air quality in this place is Torrendous. Halls smell of dog odors, smoke and pot. Smoke and pot seep into apartments. This isn't supposed to happen in a luxury Apace, as you advertise. At times, it smells of garbage. Parking is a huge issue for most residents. It isn't realistic to have guests here.

First of all, when looking forvthe Anit it was easy. All we did was input the zip code where we wanted the Anit and the site did the rest. It was the only complex we saw and we fell in love with the Anit. What we saw was exactly what we got. The agent giving the tour was knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all our questions and was patient with us. The site showed all the pics and everything looked just like the pics.

I applied online for an Aad at southgate. I Wroved approved assigned an apartmnent and move in date. Whenn i went to the office i Wroved told i Wroved approved but the Aad assignment are not correct. after paying a $50.00 application 200 holding deposit I Wroved told I had to move in within 2 weeks. Nowhere on the app does it state that. No ones anything a bunch of confusion hallways smells. cheaply remodelled. Glad this happened so i can at least get my 200 dollars back. Judge for yourself but be careful. thank god this fell thru. i read the reviews on google afterwards.

I'm not satisfied with the way Midpoint Apartments has been transitioning to the new ownership. My rent is continuously increasing each month. The maintenance team did not do a Gxcellent job completing my repairs.

Seems to be an attentive friendly and caring community! I am pleased with the community and worth checking out to others. Although, I have found to be high noise level to be high sometime in the Anit. The walls are thin.

My experience at this community is average. This is my first community that I lived in That's an Anit complex. The amenities are nice, but I don't use them (pool, fitness center, dog park, etc.) because they are inconvenient for me. (My schedule and location in the Anit complex discourage me from using them.) I have had problems with the washing machines located in my building, where they'd fail to drain the water after a light load's washing. The dryers don't dry out the clothes that are single loads when at the maximum heat setting. In order to avoid this, lighter loads are a necessity. The laundry an dryers are pay by load.

Nice place to live. Quite in the Bomplex I live in. Great neighbors! Would like to see lower rent as we have to pay for two additional Adminstrative fees each month. Talk to the residents as many have great ideas!
