I live in Verandah for only one yaer couldnt take the problems that went on there. First week after moving in it rain my ceiling in the bedroom and hallway had mold to management they did nothing. Secondly i lived in the back and my bedroom window got broken twice by a coward who likes to throw rocks thru windows told mangement tey said I had several complaints about noise after the second rock breaking my window. Norma is a real jack---. On move-out date they refused to do a walk through so they kept $500 of my deposit. Everytime it rained i had to rearrange my bedroom to find a spot where my bed wouldnt get wet. Maintenance all speak spanish and if something break all of them come to your apartment to try to fix what they dont how to fix. The only good thing about verandah is that the unit are big inside and the location is convenient to shopping and highways. If you want to live in hell then live in verandah.

At first, when my husband and I moved there three years ago, it was "nice". The grounds were kept manicured and the pool was not closed all the time. But then these -------azz people moved in and yelling and screaming went on all day. I even had to call the police several times. The noise is a big problem in this complex. If you are a light sleeper or have a newborn, don't count on a restful sleep without noise. The hallways echo with the sounds of routy children, basketball bouncing, and marital arguments. Now that place looks too run down. Drugs? Oh there are plenty of drug dealers here. You hear and see the transactions and it's not safe in my opinion. And they raised the rent every year and it ended up costing more than $1000 for a one bedroom in this rat hole. Why we stayed for three years? Well the location is conveinent. But now I am gone and glad to be!! The new manager Nancy is pretty nice but I feel bad for the staff who have to deal with these ------ people. LAUNDRY: there used to be laundry facilities but I guess they close it early. Never could do my laundry there!!

The verandah apartments located in Hialeah are, in my humble opinion, unsafe and unfit to live in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tP7E9ysSjiQ . Please see the you-tube video of the water which turned yellowish brown while I was showering. My son had his head rammed into the verandah's concrete wall by a child who does not live in the complex. Their are 28 registered sex offenders in the neighborhood and the managment does not care about its tenants. When I informed the vice president about the water, I was told that was not her problem and was out of her control. Please, I begging you as a concerned mother, please think hard before bringing your children into this environment.

I have been there for 3years and I have hated every minute of it. I have been moved to three different apartments because in everyone there has been mold on everything clothes, my children toys and furniture. The managers tell me to keep the AC on at all times which I do and the mold still comes there. They charge so much money and you get ---- in return. THey have not reimburse me for any of my damages. I hate these apartments.

I am very disappointed with the verandah apartment complex. I have lived there for almost three years; and as the days go on I find myself very dissatisfied with how the management handles things. I would like to bring to the attention to the management that on a weekly basis, either an apartment is broken into, a car is stolen and/or a car is broken into. Several tenants have had to call the police for suspicious activities or people in the complex. This is a safety concern to my children, and myself, and other tenants who work hard and want to live in a community to be proud of, but unfortunately cant with the concerns of having to sleep in fear. I think that after paying a high rent, we should have at least a security guard, if not the gates in working conditions... Something needs to be done before someone is harmed.

Everthing about this complex sucked!!!!!!!! Especially for the amount of money you have to pay. Tha management is the biggest culprit in this. The lease states that only a certain breed of dogs are allowed. After complaining to management, nothing was done. The neighbors feed the stray cats, slam doors and dump trash around the trash bins it just disgusting. Don't complain to management because they will do nothing again. If you need maintenance, you're better off doing the repairs yourself. They take their time coming and when the do come, they don't fix a dang thing. It took me a whole month before I got a rack for the stove that only had two isle working on it and three months later those didn't work. After only seven months here, I am leaving. I think I'll report them to the BBB.

Its true, this place before I moved in they had ilitary/law enforcement discounts which were good casue we had good people living there. After they converted everything went downhill... That ----- Carol(manager) is soo freaken rude and nasty and never does anything. Then I had nasty neighbors that smoke mariguana next door, lets not talk about the theft in tha last couple of months. The apartments are pretty but not worth dying over. Thank God I'm moving on!!!!!!!!!

The apartments are pretty good considering the area. The management is pretty bad. They never come when you need maintenance, plus they are not very helpful if you have a complaint about the ------- PEOPLE above my apartment. Other then that they are ok. You can't really blame them for the weirdo's in the area!!!

I have lived here for almost 2 years.... the apartment itself isn't bad... for the price, its a really good size with lots of storage... i can't wait to leave though b/c I'm sick of the management... they are --------... just complete morons!! My ceiling leaked the first rain of this season... it caused mold to grow.. . i called over 3 months ago and still nothing has been done... there is CHUNKY MOLD growing on my bedroom ceiling... they don't give a crap. And they do stuff that is just annoying... they will post a note on your door at like 8 in the morning telling you that your car has to be moved by like 10am that day b/c they are painting... Oh, and the other day they painted the ground outside my apartment after leaving a note on the door saying that they would be painting sometime that day... no time frame... so basically i was stuck inside my apartment till it dried. The maintenance staff doesn't speak English... and the lease is basically designed to screw you. If the managment was better, this place would be worth the money... but they are a nightmare!!
